Not gonna lie, this has me hyped for the actual release. Every weapon and boss looks so original that I feel this could be a new up and coming "known" content mod! Amazing work on the trailer and I cant wait for the release :D

my favourite part about the mod will be when the morbius boss sends a message in chat saying "It's morbin time" and then proceeds to morb all over the player

A fun fact; Morbus was named a little before 'Morbius' was announced- so in a way we did the morbin first. >:)
This snow biom boss looks like cryogen from calamity, but i hope he's gonna get original attacks

@@trodron я говорил в плане идеи и немного атак, я не говорил что это копирка криогена, просто возможно разработчики частично опирались на него.

Thank you everyone for your appreciation and support for the mod thus far- including everything from here and on the Steam workshop itself! It's been a wonderful time seeing such love for what started out as a little fun passion project between a few of us, that's now become this big project of ours- all thanks to you all!
We at the development team hope to keep the good content going and maintaining the high, original quality that you've all liked thus far. More news for the mod will be cropping up in the Discord from time-to-time, but maybe I'll drop a little teaser or two down here for those of you interested. ;)

My last comment to give you all is a little question; What happens when you fuse the Corruption and Crimson into one, coherent entity?

A lot of people said that 2023 will be a bright year for modding and this trailer confirms it. Excited for this one tbh.
I love how the weapons remind me of thorium weapons kinda, they have a style similar to vanilla almost but with a twist.

The music WILL be within the mod's final release- it's actually the theme for a boss we have planned for late Hardmode! You'll just have to wait to see which one, Oooo... ;)

Man good music can add a lot to a mod and I can say for certain I'm really interested in the gauntlet or fist fighting style for melee and if I'm not mistaken it looks like you were able to grapple on to that mushroom zombie enemy about to lay a smackdown. Back to the topic at hand though, the music hits differently around 1:42 it gave me goosebumps man. I love this golden age of terraria modding with a whole new world of modding to explore.

I've never really played any Terraria mods but I might check this one out. Looks really cool, all the biomes and weapons are super polished and look official.
Really excited for this one! Weapons look really neat, and the class-weapon sub-categories seem fun and interesting too. Was thinking traps might fit better for Summoner, but I can't actually decide if that makes sense or not.
Music reminds me of Homestuck music for some reason.
Made me think of Undertale, though I suppose given all the composition Toby did for Homestuck it could go either way

Adding on to this, the song has the exact same guitar instrument used in Touhou 14 (listen to the song "Dullahan Under the Willows" if you don't know what I mean)

I’ve never been interested in Terraria mods because of the steep learning curve, but oh my god I am so excited to see the launch of this mod. This trailer hyped me up so much
Calamity's got a new contender for 'fav mod' for me!
(Also, for the new summoner weapons, maybe something more 'passive' that buffs you and your summons, like an armor enchanting staff? Just an idea)
Each stack of the summon gives slightly better buffs, but it takes away from the cap of any other summon you use
Nothing passive please. Calamity is the mod that makes summoner weapons really weak unless you're holding a summoner weapon/summoner flag, right? It's the most boring version of the class in terraria.

got an idea for summoner, u can summon a armor piece like a chestplate that provides a buff. you can choose to who the buff will apply (so for example if you want you friend to have the armor piece hovering around him/on him you can select the player on a little UI. ) if interested in more of these idea's. mod creators you can always invite me to discuss idea's :)

I completely disagree that totems should be a mage thing, especially since it would suit summoner more, but that’s probably just me, everything else though looks pretty cool!
Nah I completely agree for summoner, although it should just be a sentry since that’d make more sense and it’s separate from minions.
Truth is, we only made Monoliths mage because we ran out of good ideas for what to give them, lmao
If you have any suggestions or ideas for what could be a better Sub-Class for Magician, feel free to give them here or in the Discord! I'll be more than happy to talk to the others about some possibilities.
@@retributionmod I totally get it, tbh I wouldn't even know where to start beyond adding some flashy, cool weapons, lol. Best route I could go with, is Witches/wizards are typically known to use wands and tomes, which Terraria has already done, but something else could be orbs or spirits or something?
Maybe with right click it swaps between two elements, maybe they react with each other? Like a water/lightning orb or a nature or leaf/fire that when they touch it explodes into more damage? Or how about when swapping between the two attacks it provides some sort of passive bonus or a bonus that triggers on a reaction instead of the bonus damage, like super mana regen or bonus temporary defense or shield?
It might not be something you're looking for and probably sounds like a coding nightmare, but I'm just writing this off the top of my head.], so I dunno.
