New Subscriber here! This is the most realistic, balanced and unbiased review I have ever watched. I've been an architect for 12 years and no one really gets it when it comes to user experience as an architect. You got it all right in the specs and performance and costs! Looking forward to my 4th working laptop this year! Thanks Man.
I've been searching for MONTHS about buying a new laptop as an architect which I do a lot of 3d modeling and heavy tasks, but no one had taken the time to actually research for my field, I jumped with excitement by seeing the title of this video, now me being torn with the G16 or G14 for a purchase is a little more clear. If anyone has personal experiences with any of these please do not doubt to comment your experience. THANKSSSSS
Ordered the g14, still waiting for it. It seems like a great laptop but i hope it won't have coil whine. i'm an asus fan but this is the 4th asus laptop i'm ordering i returned all 3 because of coil the whine issue
I bough then bang for buck laptop from my country , spend most of the money for the best GPU laptop available for the price and everything comes along.
This is the usage case that there is a serious lack of information and detailed testing for. These machines come at a serious price and with tons of seemingly necessary upgrades for a workbook level machine. Greatly appreciate you going through this. Hoping for more information for “creatives” using powerful, gpu and cpu intensive programs.
Really great format. Hard to find quality and recent videos about this topic. I like the dial proart, lenovo p16 looks interesting, but I will end up with a mid range legion.
I am shopping for this type of laptop currently, and I started shopping before I watched this video. I narrowed down my cart to a few computers, low and behold almost every single computer I have in my narrowed down list is one of your picks, amazing!
What laptop do yall think I should get? I’m taking 3D animation classes, and use programs like Maya,3Ds Max, substance painter, photoshop, and unreal so far. And want to get a laptop since my schools are always giving me issues , and I don’t have a pc to use just a MacBook.
Depends on what budget you have. what can make the search for a laptop a lot easier is looking at the laptops your school recommends for your major and find an option similar to those in performance.
@@blazen9958 they don’t have any recommendations 😔I even tried asking my professors before semester ended and keep saying it be cheaper to get a PC. But I don’t have space for one, I would use around 900-1,500 for a laptop though since I don’t make a lot on my job
@@unravelgt5296 damn. Well you can look at the programs you use. I’m pretty sure most programs have laptop spec recommendations and the minimum to run the program. You can try and find an option that can satisfy the recommended specs to the programs you need. Also if you want more value out of your laptop you could wait for a sale or you could buy a used laptop. I’d recommend getting it from a reputable website though. There are some websites that sale second hand tech and you can even choose the condition you want on ur device.
Ibam happy with the Pro Art Studio Book from last year. My Version just don't have the buttons because they changed that quite quickly after noticing people not liking it. But laptop works great
Choosing between proart px13 vs lenovo yoga pro 9i both 16gb ram and 4060. Landscape architecture student. Cost is pretty much identical with student discount. Unsure if portability or a large screen would be most beneficial. Thank you :)
Thanks bro...... really helpful........can u tell me should I go for RTX 4060 or AMD RX 7600S in laptop if am a architecture student.......both are available at same price point
Thanks for another great video! I am currently looking for a powerful laptop for both 3D rendering and graphic design. But I also like to do some 3D simulation work. Are there any laptops that you could recommend and therefore would help with this type of work? 🙂
Can anyone knowledgeable on this topic tell me or link me to info about building a workstation pc that would also work for playing the occasional game? I'm having trouble finding info about effectively building a machine to achieve both.
I'm having trouble figuring out of I should try and go for rx 7600s, rx7700s, or the rtx 4070. I can't find benchmarks comparing them. Does someone have any ideas which will perform better in soildworks?
Hey M4 Max 128gb ultra for high end modelling would be fine? There is only MSI with 128gb atleast what i found. Now i know the GPU will be better on MSI but on Zbrush its all about the CPU so im wundering. Please help
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 Laptop - 16" WQXGA OLED 240Hz -Intel Core Ultra 9 185H - RTX 4080 (115W) - 32GB RAM - Can I game in ultra/high settings for the next 3 years?
Yes you can, but only if you are replacing it after 2 years, because you will be running the laptop to the ground, as with all laptops, they arent meant for Ultra high gaming experience, I have the same model you specified, I play every game on medium at best, and the performance is incredible, and I know on medium it will probably play every game that releases for the next 5 years, as I dont buy a laptop to replace every 3 years.
@@kovernatic OLED burn in is not an issue with modern OLED screens, it will last you 3-5 years and even when theres burn in, it wouldn’t affect you to the point where its unusable
