Great videos! Control arms, alignment, stabilizer bushings has worked well for me
We have a 2008 lexus GX470. We are the second owner. We purchased it when it was four years old with eighty thousand kilometers. The vehicle now has two hundred and twenty thousand kilometers, and still drives like new. Two major repairs were the suspension air springs and electronic struts were all replaced and the timing belt and water pumps also. It's my wife's daily driver, and she wants to run it into the ground. Loved your video series. Thanks for making them. GX470 owners love to see these.

Your window switch needs to be reprogrammed. Roll down the window that is not working holding the switch for 5 seconds (after it's down). Then roll the window up holding the switch for 5 seconds ( after it's up) and like magic the drivers control works again! God Bless
Hi Jeff! Unfortunately this problem is different than the routine window switch reprogramming. I wish that was it!

Great video! You inspired me to fix my speedometer rather than sending it out. What sort of tool were you using when removing the stepper motor? I saw you soldered it off but you had some tool that was almost punching or clicking on the stepper motor to perhaps break the mounting tabs? Can you explain please
I really appreciate this channel. Just recently watched the transmission fluid video. Most helpful one I’ve seen. Not sure but I’ll prob have a mechanic do that 😂.I have an 09 with 157k. I recently became the 2nd owner. Do you have any advice on anything I should be concerned abt It’s got air bags in the rear (still working) I didn’t mess with the modes on it bc I don’t want them to fail 😂. I’m also thinking abt a rust protection kit (I live in the north east) great channel love the vids

Hello, cool video, coming from your E39 project do you think E39 is a good first car in Europe in "practical enthusiast" theme? Like I dont want to get a civic, for safety reasons too, 1-2L more fuel consumption is bearable for a beautiful car and they are reliable if chosen wisely, am I missing some other good options? E38 would have been perfect, but at this point it's too big of a goal for me
hey, sometimes the windows regulator switch fail in the door that doesnt work, just may need to the check the switch in the door that has the problem. you can swap them for a moment and try again.
I tried swapping the window switches on the rear doors and it still didn't work. Quite disappointing!
How repair back door 4GX470
I have a GX 03 i’m having the same issue. My tachometer is not working the needles started bobbing and now it’s stuck on zero and also from 0 to 40 miles an hour is discolored. Do I need a new gauge cluster? Because I can’t do what you did to fix the needle. as for your window be in stuck is an easy fix anytime you disconnect,the battery, you have to reset the windows, and all you do is turn it to the on position and whatever windows not working hold it down five seconds and try rolling back up it should work again
I have an 03 and some of the LEDs were burnt out and dim around the speedometer I got a 08 speedometer from a wrecking yard for $150. I took all the SMD LEDS off the board and put them on my speedometer works great, I could have swapped the speedometer but I don't know how to transfer the mileage.
why don’t you put an apple carplay adapter on that lexus

Any time the battery is disconnected on the GX, the windows need to be initalized. Could that be your issue?
