I love mine!!! I am sighted in with tula 124gr soft points, and hitting 3 inches high at 100 yards and dead on at 200 yards. Im getting 5 shot groups that are between 1 to 1.5 inches and typically closer to 1 inch at 100 yards. I can usually hit a golf ball at the 100 yard mark. I grabbed a couple 20 rd mags to add in the case with this rifle so like you I'm not stuck with just a factory 5 rounder. Next year I'll probably try the Hornady black 123gr sst rounds. I stuck a 3x9 weaver scope I had laying around on it with a 1 piece cantilever mount and it honestly just works.
Picked up the Gen 2 when I finally get to take it out and fly some freedom seeds in the spring I will know if I love it or not. I was looking for a gen 1 but it did not become available until the gen 2 also was available...so gen 2 it is. Hope Im not disappointed.

I did also stick a strike industries 2nd gen J Comp and there's almost no felt recoil and nearly zero muzzle flip.

Next I want to get the Ruger American ranch in 6.5 grendel and I'll be super happy!!!
If it's not holding back make sure your mag is seated properly. I have heard that happens though with the 10rd mags.
Golden Tiger is a boat tail projectile n works great in mine . Check your chamber MB ..
Could be the age of my ammo - but it was literally every round.
Did it come with an o-ring for the thread protector?
Didn’t see one.
Any particular reason you wanted to go with 7.62x39 now that the ammo is no longer cheap?
I had a lot of the stuff laying around.
@@DaGunGuy Good reason. Thanks 🙂
Low recoil. Short barrel keeps it light and convenient for a woods gun. Will be my wife's whitetail gun.
LOL, I just made a video on mine ....
The mags suck ..
Be interested to see your thoughts on the rifle!
If that looks green to you I think you may be color blind boss...
Certainly possible
@DaGunGuy long as you you can see them crosshairs you'll be alright lol. Keep it up chief!
