Im a 5'5", 250lb manlet and some of my hobbies include socking dry wall as well as getting wasted at the local Texas Roadhouse and yelling at my wife! I'd love to have one of these to blast off from red light to red light on my way to get my huge, sugary Starbuck's beverage in the mornings! Seriously, EVs SUCK for car enthusiasts, sure they're atrociously quick but they have no soul, there's nothing different between models because they don't make sound, they don't have different cylinder counts, different orientations for their cylinders or equal or unequal length headers, nothing to give them spunk. Interior feels very lazy for this being the introduction of the Escalade V series. We get a V performance button and a V logo on the steering wheel and new animation on vehicle start up? No carbon fiber trim, no V badge embroidery on the front seat head rests? My 2013 model has those. No super cruise guarentee, no automatic roll up on the back windows. It's like I love it but I hate it at the same time. For that price tag, it shouldn't look identical to the lower level trim models. Especially true when the 24 Sport trims will be getting the same exact exterior changes this V has. The dilemma is, is this truly their last go at a supercharged V8 Escalade, saying goodbye to ICE or do you wait until 2025 when supply shortages are leveled out and you can get it all with no comprises made. Guess time will tell..
