1974 Jacobsen turbo vent mower, estate sale find. will it run after sitting years??

- I bought this 1974 Jacobsen push mower at an estate sale for 15 dollars. it sat in a metal garden shed for an unknown amount of years. follow along as I try and breath new life into this vintage mowers. thank you for watching may God bless you in Jesus name.

I really enjoy watching these old mowers come back to life. Old Lawn Boys are my favorite. I love sounds of the old mowers. Old 2 strokes. Nice work.

Brought back memories for me at the tender age of 10 this was the first mower I learned how to cut grass on my grandfather had a 1970 Jacobson. The only difference between his and yours his was a self key but deluxe model. It was a great mower lasted for years, great video
Tim, stories like yours are one of the main reasons I do these. My grandparents had a small farm and I have a lot of fond memories of using the old equipment there. They were definitely better days and the equipment lasted forever of taken care of. I try and save as many as I'm able and my number one goal when I started this channel was for the education of the younger and future generations because I believe the knowledge on the old things is a dying art form. Nobody knows how to work on points or carburetors anymore. Thank you for sharing your story and watching. May God bless you.

I always changed the top seal with a point job on those oldies
