Proud of you for still being sober to this day! What a blessing it truly is! Keep going your doing amazing! ☺️
Tim, it's been quite a journey. When I think back in who I used to be to who God has made me today it truly is unbelievable the change. I'm eternally grateful for everything the Lord has done for me. He truly did bring me out of spiritual Egypt. God bless you and thank you for your kind words.
Just found your channel. I fixed my own mower today thanks to guys like you on TH-cam. That's a blessing for me. God bless you.
So thankful that I was helpful to you. All glory to God. Very happy you were able to get yours going again. Thank you for watching and God bless you too.
Thanks for the video Greg. I always learn something from watching you TH-cam guys and i really appreciate it. It also makes me feel good to see hard working, God fearing Americans. Keep up the good work!
Shorty, thank you so much for taking the time to comment and watch. I'm so thankful your getting something out of what I'm able to put out there. God bless.
I have been working on lawn equipment for over 65 years- nice to see young people getting their hands dirty
Thank you, I really appreciate the older generations for helping me to learn all I have about mechanical things and am hoping that maybe some of the generations after me will carry on as well. God bless you.

Welcome. Really appreciate the sub. Alwaya thankful for comments as well. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your brother Greg. I'm sure I'll be no worthy substitute but your more than welcome to think of me as a brother in Christ. May God bless you and bring healing and comfort for your loss.

That Murray was made by Husqvarna and rebranded as Murray . Murray went out of business. Many years ago but Briggs bought the brand name and has other mfg make mowers and stick a Murray sticker on it and also have control over what engine is put on it. But they still have some Honda engines on them for options to customers at a increased price
That's interesting. I never knew Murray went out of business. I figured it probably had a newer Briggs on it at some point that was swapped to the Honda. I remember when Murray was one of the cheapest no frills mowers you could buy at Walmart lol. They were pretty good back then with the flathead Briggs engine though. Thank you for sharing that knowledge and also for watching my video. May God bless you.
@@gregsmowersandmore5878 yah briggs acquired the brand name in 2004 and 2005 closed Ohio Mfg and basially outsourced the mfg of gas powered equipment to Husqvarna and MTD (Troybilt). now Murray is just a rebranded Ningbo Daye Garden Machinery out of China. the deck quality is about the same as MTD but parts are much harder to find.
Dfields, that's a real.shame. I really wish these manufacturers would bring things back to the good old USA. God bless.
Nice repair Greg. I watch another YT channel called Bruce’s Shop. He calls that grass build up , broccoli. Crazy amounts of rainfall/tstorms here in Michigan this Holiday weekend. Be safe.
Broccoli lol I like that. Stay safe up there God bless you.
Great video, that was a good repair. Your hair cut looks sharp by the way👍
Thank you sir. I'm about due for another cut. Glad you enjoyed the video. Tha k you for watching God bless you.
Excellent job bud
Thank you. God bless
Hi Greg , how are things in your area. Almost every time I have to remove a blade adapter- it’s rust welded on and needs a puller. Nice video
Things are pretty good. Finally getting some decent weather to be outside getting some things done. I've had some stuck ones too but Def got blessed and came right off here. Thank you for watching and God bless.
36:20 god bless you
I assumed it is a re-engined Murray fitted with a Honda engine from a Husqvarna lawn mower. I think it's original Briggs and Stratton engine have been badly damaged from the impact of a hard object.
I most definitely agree with you that's most likely what happened. You can definitely tell it's been through the ringer a time or too lol. Thank you so much for watching. May God bless you.
Hey Greg, Audio needs improvement, if I had your email or a way to DM you, I'd shoot you a link to a wireless lavalier set I use on my channel fixing mowers (not this acct). It's a world of difference on audio quality 😊 (and they're very inexpensive!)
These little engines are great fun to work on.
As for sheared blade adapters, I've got a Husqvarna Weed Eater lawnmower and I clipped a stone, which sheared the tits off the adapter.. it was hilarious when I found out after, because the blade was still spinning after I shut off the mower!
I was absolutely howling in laughter at it
Demcomp, thank you for the offer. My email is gregjoyce449@gmail.com. I'm not sure how much good it'll do though. All my videos are shot on my cell phone. Google Pixel 8 pro and edited on my phone as well I don't have a laptop or any of the stuff and I'm not well versed in anything like that as far as uploading and editing on anything other than my phone. I do the best I can given the circumstances but my audio is constantly changing with animals, birds, people, trains, cars etc. I'm definitely willing to try and learn something new though as long as I can use my phone to do it. I've seen a few with the pins broke off the blade adapters. It definitely makes for some interesting noises and vibration lol. Thank you so much for offering your help and for watching. God bless.
@@gregsmowersandmore5878 hey buddy! Dude, I record all my videos on my phone too.
A Pixel 8, good. It's a USB-C dongle, and it's made specifically for tablets and phones. 😊
I'll shoot you an email
Sent!!
I used to edit on my phone too. 😊 Cheers, and subbed on the road to 1000!
@@demcomp thank you. I'll check it out.
I love it and subscribed. how do you price your work to help people out? I dont do much but had a person insist on paying me. I talked her out of it because i was only cleaning my shed that day just passing the time of day.
Thank you for the sub. So glad your enjoying the content. I charge 30 dollars per hour. I keep track of time and charge accordingly. I don't charge markup on parts and I do charge for shop supplies as needed. Most of the local shops around here are anywhere from 55 to 100 an hour for labor. I don't advertise because if I did id never be able to keep up. Word of mouth is more than enough lol. Hope this was helpful to you and I pray blessings for you in your endeavors. God bless
@gregsmowersandmore5878 thank you for your reply. By the way what state are you from, mississippi here?
@otsnew4823 I'm from Illinois. Your more than welcome. God bless
It’s hard to hear you 😢
I do apologize for the audio quality. Its better in some videos and worse in others. Eventually I plan on getting a wearable microphone to try and help with the audio quality. Thank you for watching. May God bless you.
Did you screw that dipstick in to measure the oil?
I honestly don't remember. I might have. Normally I just bottom them out and pull them back out again.
Honda’s usually do have a lot of endplate because they don’t have no gasket in between each other do you work on heavy equipment I seen you had Komatsu on your shirt
Steve, I used to work on heavy equipment years ago. I work at the Peoria komatsu plant. I build the brakes for the large mining trucks. Thank you for that info on the Honda engines and thank you for watching. God bless you.
What happened to that one sleeve of yours haha 😂 god bless
God bless you too Tim, honestly I have no idea most of got it stuck on something somewhere. Been that way along time lol. Thanks for watching
@@gregsmowersandmore5878haha! Well as long as the shirt is still attached than it’s still worth wearing it longer. Clothes can get very expensive. I’ve got a few shirts that have holes in them, but for the life of me can’t part ways with them. Lol
@@gregsmowersandmore5878btw I subscribe to your channel ☺️
@@gregsmowersandmore5878I hope that wasn’t an awkward comment back sorry if it was…
Tim, nope all good. I have tons of old work out clothes. They are the best and most comfortable. I don't really get into material stuff like alot of people do these days. I even recycle my old clothes into shop rags. God bless
i think the customer tipped up the mower on the wrong side?
That was I believe part of it for sure. Also definitely hit something pretty hard with the blade too. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. May God bless you
Audio?
I do apologize for the quality of the audio. I don't have good equipment and constantly work outside in windy and noisy conditions. Thank you for watching may God bless you
@@gregsmowersandmore5878 thanks. Subbed.
Much appreciated thank you.
