Excellent explanation I must say in very clear terms what are common and opposing points in Christianity and Islam. But with all due respect Mr Timothy George has wrongly placed the last point on salvation. Islam like Christianity belies in the fact that salvation is only through Grace of God. As per Islam, even if you do millions of good deeds there is no salvation if you do not have the right relationship with God. And if you have kept God at the right pedestal, there can be salvation without doing much good deeds. And that relationship, that faith in One True God is indeed the narrow path like a edge of a sword where you can't deviate. And this is exactly what the first commandment of old and new testament say "I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not have any other gods besides Me." This commandment forbids idolatry, the worship of false gods and goddesses, and it excludes polytheism, the belief in many (three) gods, insisting instead on monotheism, the belief in one and only ONE GOD. This commandment forbids making golden calves, building temples to Isis, and worshiping statues of Jesus, for example. And this is what the basic fundamental of Islam is.

Allah is God but to the Christian: does 'God' have a Name? Can the God of Judaism, YHVH, be the God of Christianity, YHWH? Before I saw this video I posed the question do Christians and Muslims share the same God, I queried this after filming something in the sky, if you go to video 398 on my channel I have narrated the video, explaining what I see, I have been getting messages through filming clouds for about 2 years now but not many are interested and if you say the wrong thing you will upset some people, I am confused as to why these things started appearing at a low point in my life. Only one religion of the thousands out there is true. Furthermore most people join the religion of their parents or friends, the church down the block, the one you see on tv. So it is just luck that makes some people members of the right religion while everyone else faces an eternity of hellfire. Is it fair that this kindly looking man in the nice clothes raised in the local religion with food on the table, a warm place to sleep, does not have to toil in the hot sun all day gets to go to heaven. While some poor kid starving to death in the Indian mountains goes to hell because he adopted the religion that everyone else in his village believes in. Who said life is fair.

As per Islam, even if you do millions of good deeds there is no salvation if you do not have the right relationship with God. How to believe/trust?. How to believe what books/people say or write? Firstly, we have to find which religion is truth/true/right. How? We must have same definition or meaning of the truth/true/right. We must use same method to determine the truth/true/right. Believe => claim = test/check = see. This is normally practice by everybody when we buy/accept something/good which is expensive from other people(we see or we do not see).
Example: We want to buy a black pen in the shop was produced/manufactured by Marker(do not see) cost around 10K USD. Producer/Manufacturer(do not see) claim, It is a black pen written on the pen. The salesperson(can see) also claim, it is a black pen. Outside (can see), the apparent is black in colour. Inside(ink, can not see), we not sure, it is black or blue or other colour. So, we have to test/check it. Take white paper and write to it to confirm it. It is black. When I see, it is black. It is true/right. I believe/trust it. So, I buy/accept it without any doubt. If you do not want to test/check, it is up to you. It is your money. It is your life. Our life is only one chance given by god(can not see). When we die, we see the truth, we can not go back in this world(can see). It is too late. I obey what Allah say in Al Quran surah Al asr (The Time) 103(30): recommend one another to the truth. My dear... Believing in Jesus(peace be upon him) as the messiah is not a just a scholarly debated matters in islam. Jesus Christ is clearly addressed in the holy Qur’an as Al-masih (The Christ/Messiah) . But our version of Messiah is more near to how the Judaism sees the Messiah. Not as a divine or having divinity but as a person endowed with authority by God to rule and restore peace here on Earth in the end times.

(17) Whoever desires the quick-passing (transitory enjoyment of this world), We readily grant him what We will for whom We like. (19) On - each these as well as those - We bestow from the Bounties of your Lord. And the Bounties of your Lord can never be forbidden. (20) See how We prefer one above another (in this world) and verily, the Hereafter will be greater in degrees and greater in preference (21) Set not up with Allâh/Yahweh/God any other god, (O man)! , or you will sit down reproved, forsaken (in the Hell-fire). (22) And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. (23) And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young." (24) Your Lord knows best what is in your inner-selves. If you are righteous, then, verily, He is Ever Most Forgiving to those who turn unto Him again and again in obedience, and in repentance. (25) And give to the kinsman his due and to the poor and to the wayfarer. But spend not wastefully (your wealth) in the manner of a spendthrift . (26) Verily, spendthrifts are brothers of the devils , and the Devil (Satan) is ever ungrateful to his Lord. (27) And if you turn away from them (kindred, poor, wayfarer, whom We have ordered you to give their rights, but if you have no money at the time they ask you for it) and you are awaiting a mercy from your Lord for which you hope, then, speak unto them a soft, kind word . (28) And let not your hand be tied (like a miser) to your neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach (like a spendthrift), so that you become blameworthy and in severe poverty. (29) Truly, your Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills and straitens (for whom He wills). Verily, He is Ever All-Knower, All-Seer of His slaves. (30) And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We shall provide for them as well as for you. Surely, the killing of them is a great sin. (31) And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is an immoral sin, and an evil way . (32) And do not kill anyone whose killing Allâh/God has forbidden, except for a just cause. And whoever is killed wrongfully , We have given his heir the authority [(to demand Law of Equality in punishment- or to forgive, or to take blood - money)]. But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life (i.e he should not kill except the killer). Verily, he is helped (by the divine law) (33) And come not near to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full strength. And fulfil (every) covenant. Verily! the covenant, will be questioned about. (34) And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight. That is good (advantageous) and better in the end. (35) And follow not (O man i.e., say not, or do not or witness not) that of which you have no knowledge. Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those one will be questioned (by Allâh/Yahweh). (36) And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance. Verily, you can neither rend nor penetrate the earth, nor can you attain a stature like the mountains in height. (37) All the bad aspects of these (the above mentioned things) are hateful to your Lord. (38) This is (part) of wisdom which your Lord has revealed to you (O Muhammad ). And set not up with Allâh/God/yahweh any other god lest you should be thrown into Hell, blameworthy and rejected, (from God's Mercy). (39)
Has then your Lord (O pagans) preferred for you sons, and taken for Himself from among the angels daughters? Verily! You indeed utter an awful saying. (40) And surely, We have explained [Our Promises, Warnings and (set forth many) examples] in this Qur'ân that they (the disbelievers) may take heed, but it increases them in naught save aversion. (41) Say (O Muhammad to polytheists, pagans): "If there had been other gods along with Him (God) as they assert, then they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne (seeking His Pleasures and to be near to Him). (42) Glorified and High is He! From High above (the great falsehood) that they say! . (43) The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein, glorify Him and there is not a thing but glorifies His Praise. But you understand not their glorification. Only one religion of the thousands out there is true. Furthermore most people join the religion of their parents or friends, the church down the block, the one you see on tv. So it is just luck that makes some people members of the right religion while everyone else faces an eternity of hellfire. Is it fair that this kindly looking man in the nice clothes raised in the local religion with food on the table, a warm place to sleep, does not have to toil in the hot sun all day gets to go to heaven. As a christian, I belive that I have not understood God fully. He(Note I used sigullar because of Trinty) exist in a world which is not governed by the physical laws that we have here on earth. How could I say or understand everything about him? I cannot even imagine what would be my state when I see him on the Judjement day?
