NO SPOILER, but GenG would benefit from internationals more than any other team, imagine if the 3rd international tournament was already existing, it would most likely help them in regards to their slow and overly safe playstyle, don't get me wrong, it works, but when you're up 7k+ gold and still be afraid of pushing your lead, that's an issue, so going head to head against more aggressive teams like the LPL would fix that probably.
@@PRIM-r9lyeah also there would be nothing going on and GenG would have 1k advantage at 15 minutes doing barely anything. They are very solid at macro and laning.
@@wow1765suits yeah don't know why the narrative is like that when it's a completely different roster 3 different players and more solid early game than the previous adjuration
It's crazy how Canyon won worlds in 2020 and 4 years later his Nidalee is still a pocket pick (which btw no one else has the balls to pull off in pro play) he's definitely the GOAT jungler. Well deserved skin. And well deserved win for GenG
Canyon played 1 nidalee game in 2024 and 1 in 2023, why would you just go on the internet and straight up lie like that? @@sendongshakur2604 To be fair, Canyon was actually getting gapped by Tian early game 5. The game state just favoured him afterwards cause of Gen-G superior macro.
@@sendongshakur2604It doesn’t matter. A pocket pick is something you will pull out consistently when it isn’t banned not something you pulled out once a year lol. Big balls to pull out the nidalee in g5 at msi but it isn’t no goddamn canyon pocket pick.
I’d be interested to see this series again now that tes knows they can’t play/draft for lane swaps against geng. This series could’ve been so different if they didn’t int away two games trying that strategy.
When they locked corkie nida and kalista i knew the game would be over for TES, that comp chunks you for half your hp before you even see the enemys. Corkie looks incredibly broken.
Can someone please look at the fight at (31:31)? Did Corki not Valk twice in a row? That didn't seem to be package into Valk, that was Valk in, Valk out. How is that possible???
Ultra banger. TES makes a very creative game 5 winning play by catching out Chovy and then they just somehow die in a 5v4 without the enemy hyper carry, because a 200 farm 0 kill KSante at 30 minutes just runs over the entire team 1v5. What an exciting finish smh.
He had 2 bad deaths, rest was insane. Such a high farming efficiency, good spears, very few misspositionings in teamfights. Game 5 was good. And maybe top called that urgot based, maybe even same for mid. You cant know that
All the people complaining about K’Sante like TES don’t have 5 bans every game. Let’s be real, TES probably chose to play into Kiin’s K’Sante because they didn’t want Kiin to have a carry especially given how much he was the best preforming player of the series
They literally beat him with the same matchup in game 4 urgot vs ksante when they didn’t mess up the laneswap. Ksante is broken but people are just looking for an ez excuse. I argue asol is as broken as ksante for mid but it isn’t talked about because a lot of pros aren’t good at the champ enough to show how broken it is beside Chovy.
-ah man that akali fight was crucial...maybe still winnable at that point? hard to play akali against Gen G, Chovy, Corkie, etc. but damn that decision making was not good. Damn… GenG won this series, yet it is Chovy that is being made fun of… not TES member… I know that he was carried by his team (especially top) throughout the series but…
let's be honest here. We have tons of historical data from previous International tournaments (both MSI and Worlds) Even when LPL performed relatively poorly against minor regions, they still proved to be very difficult for LCK teams. Just like BLG vs PSG and T1 vs G2 and today's game, we can't really know the outcome of the game until two teams clash. It seems like TES started to figure out Gen.G style after game 2. Though they lost the final game, I still think TES can win against Gen.G if they meet next time. Also, I still think BLG will win the entire thing. BLG showed up in the final game against PSG (very solid one-sided game) And I think that is the BLG's true form. Let's see how other teams improve over the next week.
