From the Kurt K. Field Tapes at the American Jewish Historical Society. This collection documents the leisure activities of an American Jewish family from 1939 to 1966. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade footage found here is from 1940, 1945 and 1946. During World War II the parade was canceled due to war rationing for rubber and helium.
