    Hahaha EXCELLENT!!! This is why I love your channel. I'm an unrepentant gadget guy, much to my wife's chagrin. Unfortunately, most of what I make is only operable by me as you have to stand on one leg, close the left eye, cross two toes on the right foot, and hold your breath to get it to work... But hey...

    32kw is plenty for a conversion. I drive with a 30kW motor and my inverter peaks at 24kW 100A limit at 240V. The car is 1800lb so quite spiffy, if I need to show off. So you'll not be dissapointed by performance. If the motor really 200lb as you think, it is around 4 times heavier than it needs to be, so I suspect the 32kW limit in the forklift fuse is to conserve battery and not the real power of the motor. More likely this motor can take 90kW for 5 seconds and 20kW continiously, far more than you need. Look up the specs on the motor nameplate or google it.

  • @FBPrepping
    @FBPrepping 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I bet Danny laughs everytime he sees this video.
    Just kidding. Don´t feel bad. That junkyard piece would have left you stranded probably in a few months in the middle of the road. I am an engineer, and my dad refurbished myriads of similar motors. Danny surely changed bearings, make sure all of the weldings in the armature coils are working and sturdy, and applied a good lacquer in the stationary coils (in a motor that age it is very needed as this lacquer degrades on time). This was needed, and cleaning up your engine bay in a rebuilt is a necessity. I mean, if you´re going to tear everything apart why not cleaning and painting even with a can spray?
    Danny could have saved you a lot of trouble downstream, trust me. Take the word from a maintenance engineer for 15 years.

    This is just a hypothetical idea to loose the battery aspects of electrical vehicular propulsion and recharging systems of these type of ev's!?! I'm pretty sure you can create an electric motor that has half the axle of the motor making the electricity to begin with, and separated by completely insulated wall inside the main electric motor container with the single axle going down the center of it, that would on the other side of the insulation wall in the center of the container allow the other side to be the side of the electric motor generator to actually produce the action of the whole axle spinning by the produced energy on the other half of the axle separated by the insulated wall so that the separate partitions of the container are simply self-powered instantly active upon being triggered to begin the whole affair between the units two axle's dual implementation of a dynamo generator coupled on the same axle with the action creating electric motor turbine, or whatever you want to call it, I am pretty sure this is doable, and the most simple design that I have ever come up with today that covers all the bases of the b******* that are system has been a run on for years!!? Thank you and may our common sense and logic awaken, and if you cannot get my logic or my grammatical syntax and the contextual meaning of what I have just shared, then please tell me about it and I will do a walk through again and do diagrams if I must!? Enjoy;)
