Looks like flagship from inside. Good quality materials samsung 👌
👍
naah .. all phone nowadays use chinese capacitor.
How do you know the quality by watching a video? The sub board for example is very thin..
That definitely does not look like flagship build inside, the chip and capacitor density is way less and the cameras are much tinier. Plus the motherboard isn’t even a dual stack or triple stack layer. Also, the ungodly amount of plastic midframe in this phone, the nfc antenna is even baked into plastic.
@@chenluanzhang of course because its a midranger. Look at the cables, its uses flex cables. Except Xiaomi 14 ultra literally every chinese flagships use coaxial cables. Which is 👎🏼 for flagships.

There's absolutely a space there in bottom left for headphone jack. No excuse for samsung to not include that
🗣️: Type c headphones exist + low latency earbuds exist + tws is easier to handle than those tangling wires. No need of a headphone jack.
@@kalaalfi33 no thank you, I want my aux port back.
Who need a headphone jack nowadays 😂
I needed one this year when I was assigned a truck without Bluetooth. Fortunately my second budget 4g phone had one and I'm was able to use an aux cord to hear my podcasts. Not everyone wants a slim, expensive phone with many features removed "for our good" .
@@kalaalfi33 Yeah i have one of these usb-c adapters but how can i listen to music when i need to charge my phone Einstein ? Also as someone that listens to a lot of music the usb-c port is gonna get damaged pretty fast as i plug/unplug with headphones, charger, usb otg. Finally, wireless is still far from being as good as wired, even 10 dollars wired headphones have better mic and better sound with no latency.
Im curious about the samsung knox vault chip. Where is it?
Integrated with motherboard

Watching from Samsung Galaxy A55 😂
the Samsung a35 inside frame is plastic, is that bad? the a55 has an aluminum inside frame which is better.

Good job with this chanel I can see parts of motherboard build quality in samsung galaxy A55 series

A pull tab on Samsung battery? Interesting. Haven't seen it for quite awhile. 😄 Thank you for the video. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻
Yup, they are required to implement it for repairability now due to EU regulations etc. You're welcome and thank you!
started with A14 iirc
Every samsung device from 2023 and onwards has pull tabs
Samsung should've used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on this phone.
@@Subhasis44597 nah that's too expensive, 8g2 is more fit for s24fe. They should have used better ARM cores for E1480 instead of old A78 and A55

Does the POCO X6 PRO have protection against inserting the injection key from the sim drawer like the POCO F5 and Galaxy A55?

does it possible to peel the plastic film on the back glass to make the back glass transparent?

Excellent tear down. You really know what your craft.
Thanks!
Wow samsung A55 5G amazing ❤ is my phone😘 🔥🔥🔥 menyala abang kyuu
I used the chip key in the microphone hole, this could have damaged the microphone or lost the waterproof?
Hi! If you open the cellphone ( A55 is IP67 ) and humid air replaces the old air that was from the factory which I presumed that factory air humidity is controlled to be just enough to be not that humid, does it make the phone fog up its lens in really cold temperature after the repair? Or maybe the repair area is air conditioned and the room air is not humid like in the factory? Do the cellphone factory allow only some percent of humidity when assembling the phone specially the IP67 and IP68 rated phones. I had a Asus phone before that wasn't even IP rated that fog up the lens when I was in a cold place. I'm just curious.
There is no need to doubt about Samsung build quality.
Good update keep it up the good work 👍👍
👍 Thank you

Hei frnd
Love your videos sir.. Very organised, clean and easy to understand.. Thank you ❤
Thanks!
Dude, I have a curious question :)
We always see in your videos, You removed the thermal paste/some time heat sink as well. But We know that if we remove the phone's thermal paste or heat transfer paper, there will be a bad impact (Performance drop/overheating etc.) when we use the phone later. My question is what do you actually do with those phones?
I reapply the thermal paste. As for the graphite film, as long as its not damaged beyond the point of it being effective, its still usable.
The exynos 1480 is probably one of the more decent chips they have made.
Good video, but I have a question: Is the aluminum frame replaceable if it gets scratched or dented?
Awesome work. Is this a metal ring around the triple cameras?
Is FPC connector got better or worse? My friend has a52s and connector died
I have an A52 LTE and the connector also died (very common problem in the whole A52 line up), I was told that it was mainly due to the flimsy plastic back, so I hope it isn't an issue with the glass back
Thanks for the video. I had accidentally put the SIM tray pin in the two holes mentioned in the video and was worried shit about any damages done. Thanks again for clearing that doubt.
Bro which one i should choose, nothing 2a or oneplus 12r or samsung A55 ... interms of camera,,performance,, long use,,
Which one u recommend
I would go with A55 or Nothing 2a

By uncovering it, could it lose the waterproof certification? Or it depends on the technician who performs the repair
depends on who does the repair
Watching on my A55. Very informative and knowledgeable, thank you. Plus so much nicer to watch than 'destruction' tests 😢
You're welcome 👍
Just bought one, love it 💯
👍
Please, where are these sensors located? magnetometer, accelerometer, gyroscope
These are really good videos with great benchmarks, one more thing which i would love to see is a long duration video recording test in a room temperature of around 30 degrees celsius.

Thank you❤❤❤❤❤
Welcome :)
Nice video as always!
Thank you :)
Yo is it normal to hsve gaps on screen onto the frame on this phone cause it seems like it has a prtectivr layer beteeen it cause am experiencing it on myn rn
How much did opening it up really affect the water resistance after?
I would do that if I get this phone just because I have both liquid metal and graphene I could stick in for better cooling. That'd be cool though, if it doesn't mess with the water resistance.
How do you remount the back cover? Do I need glue or something like that to close the backcover, coz in the vid I didnt see anything wich is given into it. Thanks.
And I have second question, I bought this phone and got a fault overhead speaker. It doesnt work. Also the internal ear speaker. I need to change both. Do you have the part numbers?
You can check mobilesentrix.com or rounded.com for parts and you can watch this video for an explanation of the adhesive: th-cam.com/video/T4iiPUIM7-Y/w-d-xo.html
4:33 The proximity sensor, really? I thought there would only be a virtual one, not a physical one. Thanks for the breakdown, very useful video! 😁👍
I may have mistaken the ambient light sensor for the proximity sensor. 😅 They look similar sometimes when they are small. I believe it its only virtual one.
@@PBKreviews No problem! Thank you for the reply!
You're welcome :)
i just bought it and you just opened it!
:)
4:07 They added something new to the board compared to the A54, that part above the bottom shielding didn't have anything on it, but now they put something there. And by the looks of it (having shielding and all) seems important, what is it?
It's nothing, if you look at the other side of the board its hollow open, its where the earpiece speaker lays or sits in.
I have a tiny dent at the bottom left corner of the A55 frame. What is the best way to repair it?
How did u got it
This phone is amaising!
What does GPS look like and where is it located?
You make it look so easy!
Is this really water resistant?
Yes, you can even see the seal in the video and the seal around the speaker and mics
Can we replace frame if its broken ?
while removing the back glass he slides it all over some surface underneath. hopefully something that doesnt scratch the display.
i love your content. thanks bro
Thank you and you're welcome
please teardown infinix zero 30 4g......show us if the machine is the same.!!!
Nice video. Thanks
Thank you
Virtual proximity sensor again, come on Samsung. Nice work, btw.
Thank you :)
Thanks for the video please can you help me which one i should buy now between a54 or a55
I would go with the A55
Hi is possible 5 g antenna unplug and have signal only 4g?
Would it be possible to transfer the battery from the M51 to the A55?
What is the hole for on top (right side) of the phone?
secondary mic
Is the camera flex cable welded to the PCB?
nope, they can be disconnected from the board.
7:40 the vapor chamber on Galaxy A55 are WAYYYYY bigger compared to the Galaxy A54
👍
Nice content bro, thanks a lot & keep it up 👍🏻
Thanks!
I enjoyed this, thanks. Hopefully i get this phone soon.
You're welcome :)
The phone will ask me to use it, I love it 😊
What a fantastic job 💯👍👍👍
Thank you 👍
@@PBKreviews It was very interesting to watch you taking a part this Samsung A55 because I plan to buy it thanks again and keep up this great work 🤗👍👍👍
What do you think should I get a55 or s23fe
Depends on what you need it for. The S23fe has a better processor as well as a telephoto camera, but aside from that, all other aspects on the A55 spec wise are better. Larger screen, larger battery, better screen glass protection (victus+ vs gorilla glass 5) and a better selfie camera.
@@PBKreviews thanks 😊
@@PBKreviews Useful info. Thank you.
Yoo I like this kind of videos, most people reviewed the phone by spec but not on the inside (literally)
I think we need a bit explanation about how you score it like what part would be challenging to repair, which part will most likely be damaged first, is it overall a good build, is it generally similar to other phones or even the previous series, that would be interesting to hear from you
I love the video!
Thanks! I provide the chart towards the end of the video before re-assembling to break it down. Higher score= easier and more repairable. If a section scores low it either means its hard to access and more difficult to replace those parts which fall in that area, or parts are harder to find etc. If I can, I will be more thorough.
as owner i confirm this build quality is super strong although it expensive and i dont want to be harsh with it
Where is the earpiece speaker assembly? Are there white balls? Please answer
no white balls
@PBKreviews that's weird it should have all components that the previous generations had.
whta is the type of modem? is it x70?
Is it still gorrila glass after you change the lcd???
Is it possible to replace macro with telephoto lens and install it to work?
No
@@danielgonzalez75598why not ?
There would be connector differences as well as software conflicts.
why the glass backplate bends? is it plastic instead?
no, same as glass screen protector. Its thin so has some flex.
many do not know, but glass not solid, but amorphous solid. so it has attributes of liquids as well.
f.e. window glasses over the year get thinner at the top and thicker at the bottom, because it flows. very very slow, but it does.
Can we changed the camera & put the better one that can zooming Same as S24 ultra does..
nope
I love this phone a lot but the cheap plastic cover is the worst in its experience, is there a way to have a metal one?
It's not a plastic cover it's glass
hows your phone battery?
I'm using the a55 right now, I'm impressed with performance but not so impressed about the basic battery life and how the phone heats up quickly.
Watching this on the A55🔥🔥
👍
Nice video always ❤💪
Thanks!
Both the Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G come equipped with a 1.7 times larger vapor cooling chamber but i dont really see any of that, is it sandwich between the screen and the circuit board?
what do you mean, its shown in the video once the battery is pried off. Yes a part of it runs underneath in between the screen and frame, and if you compare it to the A54, you will see its much larger.
So it didnt have knox vault hardware?
Watching this on my galaxy a55❤😌
👍
Please how much is the cost of the genuine screen replacement from samsung service centre
I'm a little bit confused; the device specs refer to as "virtual proximity sensor" but in the video it is clearly seen and as you mention that there is physical proximity sensor...
I might have mistaken the ambient light sensor and said proximity sensor.
All that space and we lost the 3.5mm jack for nothing. Ultra usefull when to connect it to a mixer, i guess i remain on the a52s and then change brand to one with the jack (few)
Greetings sir, could you give your opinions based on your observations?
Galaxy a55 vs nothing 2a, which has better build quality and durability?
Much gratitude for your response.
I have the 2A and looking to return for the a55.
@@davecobb5649 could you share the reason?
Sure, I have issues with the display, colours are desaturated and the options to change them, e.g. vivid mode, do bugger all. General internet speed can be slow for some reason. I could just have a dodgy model. The general build quality is pretty solid and battery life is good. UI is generally ok, but could do with a few more tweaks, which I'm sure will come with future updates.
