Back in early 2021, I visited the beautiful country of Pakistan for the first time. I teamed up with my friends at Manaky for an unforgettable trip that took me through seven incredible cities: Karachi, Peshawar, Mardan, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, and Lahore.
I ate my way through all seven cities, trying dishes I’d had before in other countries, and other dishes that were brand-new to me. It was one of the most incredible trips I’ve ever taken in my life!

From the incredible parathas and nihari I tried in Karachi to the chicken karahi, fruit golgappa, and paya I had in Lahore, it was also some of the best food I’ve ever had while traveling. @@yeriu_ it's one of the only country that speaks dutch in the Latin American continent. David has a special series of what to do in Suriname but make sure you book with the right travel service. Pakistani food is the most tastiest food in the world, and that's a fact. There are Pakistani restaurants in other countries too but they never and I mean never taste the same. You can try Pakistani food in your country for a little trailer but you have to come here for the real deal. 😎

Good morning David. You have some splaining to do. What have you done to us? No intro for this one!!! I woke up expecting Iran. Now to the food: so much meat and too much oil and grease. I can see how delicious it was but you know what amazes me, it's that in North America some "chefs" will say that the meat is overcooked but yet they go to these countries and eat the same food with no complaints. That's why I don't look up to chefs because some of them come off as elitists in the restaurant industry. Give me homestyle cooking any day. For all the people who say that David always says that this one is the best, if he tries 5 different things, one is most times going to be better than the other because different people can make the same thing but still taste differently because of the seasoning and the way it's cooked. UNDERSTAND that. The flatbread, paratha and any type of roti is very addictive. I can go on and on but another day. When is the next "live"?.🙏🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦 By the way, I am on overload and I haven't eaten anything yet 🤣🤣🤣💕

In 1981 I spent about one week in Pakistan’s Baloochestan from Iran as I was going to Europe & the United States. I was in a village ( nokoondi) for 2 days then to quitta for half a day then to Karachi ( by train which took 24 hours time !) . I was in Karachi for about 3 days before I flew to Istanbul then Belgrade, during my travel in Pakistan I lost at least 15 pounds in a week because all of their food was super hot spicy which I wasn’t used to because Iranian foods aren’t spicy hot at all plus everything & everywhere at that time looked dirty & all cities & streets smell so bad especially Karachi! I couldn’t wait to leave the country but I hope things have improved since then!

Karachi is similar to india as it has 22% indian migrant population, the rest of pakistan is not. It has 20 million population in one city so naturally not going to be like iran which has half or less population. Its like harlem of the US.

I visited karachi, its chaotic but so is india. But outside it looks dusty but inside the houses and homes they are large and clean, better then western homes, marble flooring, an the restaurants standards above any western country I have been. I live in Uk but find karachi more fun. Definately more lively and happy people alhamdullah.

Imao I don't think anything improved, I personally do not eat spicy food I have a stomach disease, and I have seen most of the vloggers eat at roadside restaurants most of the times, normal citizens eat food from outside rarely mostly we eat home cooked food
