Wow, ive never really seen a Video that motivating, ofc ive seen videos trying to tell me what self esteem means. But not one video conveyed this message as well as this video. I hope this video finds its way to as many young people as possible❤️🔥
This mindset has helped me so much. In late middle school I realized that I remembered the embarrassing things I’d done through my life, and how someone that saw me do that might see me and think how silly I looked. Then I thought of all the people I’d seen do embarrassing things, and what I’d think of them if I saw them. And hardly anyone came to mind, and those who did were usually my friends, and those who weren’t I didn’t think anything poorly of them. So what would someone think of me if I were to stumble over my words during my presentation? And this made things so much easier. I became so loose in front of crowds. Stage fright is still a thing, definitely. A phobia is an irrational fear, you can’t get rid of that with a mindset. But there are some things that can be solved with a mindset. This outlook of “they won’t remember, only I will” doesn’t just apply to the stage in front of a crowd, it applies to a stranger on the street, a customer in your store, a coworker in the break room, a family member at the reunion. Conversation comes so easy when you can say anything and not be worried about being judged the rest of your life, and you get to practice and become better at conversation, too. It’s a skill, and I still learn every day. Now I’m in my third year of community college, my class knows my name and who I am, that I’m not afraid to blurt an answer or give a little speech, and the people in my life appreciate me in general. People don’t care about something you don’t care about, so when you stop caring about the conversation, and start caring about the people, they’ll do the same for you.
This is actually a great concept you did right there: chill gameplay, while telling a story because watching someone play eventually gets repetitive or boring, but right now this is perfect. I like it a lot and expect it to continue!
@@brandillio16 Exactly. Notice how they think it's a new concept as if LeafyIsHere wasn't once the fastest growing channel on TH-cam for doing the same thing.

bruh I feel that I did have my share of embarrassing moments...or so I thought because compared to this one mine moments are nothing it really feels bad when you think about these moments and then you start feeling it in your nerves like you stretch your hand everytime you think about one and so on but it really hits you when you realize that nobody even cares nobody even remembers these moments except you thinking about them even after years and now I feel that I'm little bit more sociable with poeple and a little bit more confident about myself like if I was your place of course I wouldn't sing but I would've been honest and just handed the mic but you were brave enough to take the rest and forge on without caring about the results thanks for the vidoe dude, definitely helps :)

I want to share something with anyone reading my comment right now: Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It’s the mastery of fear. Its saying to oneself, “wow, that thing really scares me. I guess I’ll just go ahead and do it anyway though.” Anytime you’re anxious or fearful about doing something, don’t try to stop fearing it, learn to control it. Even the most courageous and bravest knights are fearful of not returning to their families. They still press on though, because they eventually learned to control their fear after enough time. Next time you’re anxious or afraid, don’t tell yourself it’s not scary, embrace that fear, accept it, and try to push past it. Learn from the scariness, and question why you’re so scared. Then, you might just overcome it. Hope this helped anyone reading this..

Very late to this video but I think I needed to hear this message. I had a lot of problems with isolating in highschool, and my parents sent me to a wilderness therapy program to help work on myself. And it was such an amazing experience. I learned so much, and left feeling so much more confident and sure of myself than when I got there. After that, it was always a dream of mine to work in wilderness therapy. A few years later while taking a break year in college, an opportunity presented itself and I jumped on it. And let's just say, it didn't go as I expected. First of all, this program was nowhere near the quality of my previous experiences, and it was targeted towards a different group of kids, kids that had done serious illegal things, not just shy depressed kids like I was. My costaff weren't very nice to me and I struggled to fit in. I worked there for about 5 months, which for a job as difficult as wilderness therapy, is a pretty long time. Eventually I had enough and left, in hindsight I wish I left the job sooner. Since then I've felt so demotivated. I quit the job in April, and I haven't worked since then. Been feeling really down on myself and haven't gone out or tried socializing much. Hoping to get my motivation back soon, and this video definitely helped :)
i cant explain how much i enjoy these videos, your videos make me happier and the vibe is so wholesome, this slow-paced vibe is the best way to end my day
Something similar to this happened to me in high school too, and seeing how quickly everyone just forgot about it and moved on was so uplifting and did wonders for my confidence. It taught me that being who I want to be and owning my strangeness is way more important than trying to conform to everyone else, because at the end of the day people aren't gonna remember me anyway. Might as well stay true to myself. Awesome video!
This hits so close to home. I had a period in my life where I was always overthinking situations like this, and now a few years later both my siblings are experiencing the same thing. This helps cast a light on how stupid it is to think it's the end of the world if you experience something similar to what you experienced.
I'm trying to do "embarrassing" things, they aren't actually embarrassing but just normal things I'm nervous to do due to my extreme social anxiety but in doing that I've started caring less and less about if people care or not because chances are they do not And I have never found myself caring about what other people did either
extreme social anxiety i know it i cant even go out to throw the trash, im at that level already still going to work still going out to the bank and all and still wishing to die everytime i do i want to have a normal life, talk to girls, dating, making friends but at the same time i just want to stay in my room sleep all day and just watch movies or play games far away from anyone, school crushed my soul all my friends ghosting me at the same time 3 years ago made it worse

I'm not sure If I can even describe how much these videos mean to me, having somebody with similar feelings and stories that I can relate my experiences to means a lot to me. I'm extremely self- conscious pretty much everything especially my looks. Anyways, I had a similar experience to you in gym class, I'm too emotional to go into detail but it was traumatizing, causing mental issues I still inflict on myself today. I just wanted to put it out there and say that these videos you make give me hope and confidence to continue in my life, and I'm on a path of healing and am nearly a completely different person (in a good way). Having somebody to relate to means a lot to me, Thank You Update I guess for those who care (I Doubt there's many): My life has completely changed, I've met people and have become a great person from where I was before, I have a friend group now! after so long after my original one disbanded pretty much, I haven't been able to get over it until now and now I've moved on and met new friends. I've started to improve my health and am focusing on school much more, I couldn't be happier. I don't want to say that this video was the only reason that led me here because it wasn't, but It definitely spark something in me, To those who are going through a tough time or just want to improve themselves, It's never impossible, just take it one step at a time and eventually you'll look back amazed by how many steps you've made
I liked your story, I feel like we’ve all had that moment where we were put on the spot when we really didn’t want to in front of (what felt like) the entire planet and all of humanity. I have had a few moments like that myself, one time I was in my English class in high school, and we were reading a book about the holocaust or whatever, I don’t really remember much of it. The teacher read a few chapters out loud to the whole class and at one point she stopped and asked if any of us wanted to. The same thing happened for about a week straight; she would ask someone to volunteer, and there would be dead silence for a solid minute. Afterward the teacher made us read it independently or she continued. It was one of those times again, and I couldn’t take it. I felt bad for the teacher wanting us to participate and, well, failing to do so, as well as the awkward atmosphere. I (reluctantly) decided to take initiative and read in front of everyone. At first I was so nervous, stuttering on half the words I came across. Over time however, I kind of got in the zone. I felt like I was some wise old man with a raspy voice telling a story to a young child in bed. Afterwards, people said I did an amazing job and that I should start a podcast or something. I’ve always been really nervous about how I sound to others, it’s that feeling you get when you hear yourself speak in a video. I always thought my voice was high pitched and annoying, that sort of voice you get right before you hit puberty and stuff. Now, I don’t really care as much for my voice. I’m the one who’s making fun of it, no one else is. That’s a big problem that, despite how perfect someone may be, everyone experiences; we’re all way too worried about ourselves and think about how others are thinking about us, when in reality, we’re all the exact same way! Think of a time when you’ve actually judged someone for something minor… That’s right, never! And even if you did how many times do you take that one small judgement and associate it with that person’s worth and status. Again, never. (unless you’re completely apathetic and a bully, in which case I hope you accidentally hit your funny bone. or bite your tongue.) Nobody’s ever worried about you because everyone’s too busy worrying about themselves. I would’ve used a different example, because I know I’ve done way more embarrassing things and in the worst situations (like in front of my crush… in front of her entire friend group), but nothing else is really coming to me. I liked your video a lot dude, it’s amazing how minecraft gameplay with shaders and an inspirational speech can make all the difference :)
Thank you for the share yo! I completely agree with you, and as i saw someone say recently in another comment section, im so glad to be alive during a time where this kind of stuff is being talked about ^^
Hello sir, stumbled upon this video in my recommended and I really love this type of content, the life advice stuff. I really appreciate what you're doing.
To be honest I didn't expect this video to make me cry... yet it did. I learned the same thing as you, but way later. Now I'm regretting that I didn't do things I thought were embarrassing but now I know: they aren't. Be yourself, no matter what others may think.
Those videos are really my favorites, and the concept is perfect too. Slow/calm gameplay, while telling us something a story or something you went through, this is really relaxing. Congrats on 30K subscribers btw, you deserve it 😄
This really helps when there's just 3 days until my school year starts again, this helps boost my confidence, but I think I'm going to have to watch this multiple times throughout the year. xd
I honestly resonated with your message in an emotional way, like damn. I'm so oddly insecure about small things about myself, like how my hair looks, etc, and I always think people are looking at me in school. My friends always tell me that I'm good, I look good, nothing to be insecure about. This video helps a lot, nobody really cares. Everyone is all fixated on themselves, not you, they may look at you once but they'll forget about you in seconds. This makes me believe it more though, that nobody truly cares, so thank you for putting me into this more positive mindset.
dude this video made me think of my own decisions in life and i gained some perspective abt myself. i love ur content with the philosophical nature and minecraft gameplay. its so relaxing and easy to focus. keep making videos like these pls! 😀
This is actually really inspiring. I have severe stage fright and social anxiety and I always worry about other people around me but you really are right, when someone else does something embarrassing, I feel embarrassed for them, but I don’t judge them or laugh at them meanly because I understand. And if most people are the same way, I don’t have anything to worry about.
You are literally the voice in my head, everything you've talked about in these type of videos so far have been, what I like to call them, shower thoughts. They're like my form of meditation when I'm doing something autonomous, just me talking to myself minus the talking part, and seeing them in this manner makes me happy.
I randomly got recommended this video, and it really sorta spoke to me to a personal level. The atmosphere that you create is just so nice and calm. Never knew that listening to a random guy would help out so much and be so reassuring in a way. Keep it up!
would've really appreciated this video coming a liiiiiiiiiiittle earlier in the school year -- really would've taken the oomph out of a couple of embarrassing moments, haha. thanks for another great video, always look forward to hearing what you have to say when it's a commentary! :)
Ah true! I'm thinking about doing a video over the summer might try to time it with all the people going back to school/college, and I appreciate that!
Goddamn, you've revoke one quite embarrassing moment from summer vacation 5 years ago. At that time I was quite shy during some events and because of this - missed opportunity to ask one girl out and probably cure my bashfulness. Jeez, I hate this moment but at least now I'm not so shy as I used to be, but there is still plenty of work. Thank you for reminding this to me, sometimes its hard to remember this
As someone who had stopped going to school and helping myself in life due to anxiety and whatnot, this has helped a lot and has easied my mind a bit. Its nice to hear others storys and how they deal with things. I thank that this video has popped up for me.

The shear fear I felt for you hearing the start of that story. I literally felt it in my body. It’s really…really hard for me to have a different mindset about fears, how people think about me. Your point is completely right, unfortunately I myself don’t think enough tools to work out my negative thoughts. Im just starting therapy, and your video made me realise that I want this mindset as my goal. I want to think in this way about life. I’d be much better off. Great video
This is so true, I've been in a similar situation where you're asked to get on stage and introduce yourself. I always get up and do it because I know I have nothing to lose.
I love this, you nailed it, everybody is stuck in their own little world. You are just a side character in their story and you rarely if ever, take center stage in anybody's life that isn't a member of your own family.

You can literally talk about anything and I'll listen. So yeah keep making videos, after reading other comments I can tell other people feel the same.
Dude, usually it’s a meme to put in some stimulating gameplay along with some random talk but that Minecraft background video was so soothing and chill along with the story you told. Good stuff
almost made me cry even tho I knew this and have told this to myself a lot, I still struggle a lot with social anxiety and this thought that nobody cares how I look, etc. has been in my head for a while. I'm really happy I'm not the only one that thinks that way, thank you for this short and simple masterpiece ♥
This is one of the most important lessons I learned a few years ago. How one thinks other people view them really takes a toll on one's mind, so once I got past this problem and realized that things will move on without people really remembering about you, life began feeling so much more enjoyable and less stressful. Those embarrassing moments even eventually turn into stories you can tell and laugh at in the future :)
This is a huge help, I have serious problems with socializing and am not good at conversation (or atleast don't think I am) and it gets so bad that I may have social anxiety.
Love the channel one of the few who consistently makes me stop what I'm doing to watch.
That's awesome I'm glad to hear it :)

This is actually a great concept you did right there: chill gameplay, while telling a story because watching someone play eventually gets repetitive or boring, but right now this is perfect. I like it a lot and expect it to continue!

Thanks for this bro, really encouraging for some of us who are very self conscious about looks/outside appearance, so knowing that difficult or anxious moments make you feel better in the end is great
bruh I feel that I did have my share of embarrassing moments...or so I thought because compared to this one mine moments are nothing
it really feels bad when you think about these moments and then you start feeling it in your nerves like you stretch your hand everytime you think about one and so on
but it really hits you when you realize that nobody even cares nobody even remembers these moments except you thinking about them even after years
and now I feel that I'm little bit more sociable with poeple and a little bit more confident about myself like if I was your place of course I wouldn't sing but I would've been honest and just handed the mic but you were brave enough to take the rest and forge on without caring about the results
thanks for the vidoe dude, definitely helps :)

I want to share something with anyone reading my comment right now:
Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It’s the mastery of fear. Its saying to oneself, “wow, that thing really scares me. I guess I’ll just go ahead and do it anyway though.”
Anytime you’re anxious or fearful about doing something, don’t try to stop fearing it, learn to control it.

Hoping to get my motivation back soon, and this video definitely helped :)
i cant explain how much i enjoy these videos, your videos make me happier and the vibe is so wholesome, this slow-paced vibe is the best way to end my day
I'm glad to hear it :)

I’ll remember it forever, but no one else will
Except for my friend but he doesn’t count

This hits so close to home. I had a period in my life where I was always overthinking situations like this, and now a few years later both my siblings are experiencing the same thing.
This helps cast a light on how stupid it is to think it's the end of the world if you experience something similar to what you experienced.
Same for me, take example for 9th grade, Riverdale.
I've been overthinking some worksheets for agriculture class.
I'm trying to do "embarrassing" things, they aren't actually embarrassing but just normal things I'm nervous to do due to my extreme social anxiety but in doing that I've started caring less and less about if people care or not because chances are they do not
And I have never found myself caring about what other people did either
extreme social anxiety i know it
i cant even go out to throw the trash, im at that level already
still going to work still going out to the bank and all and still wishing to die everytime i do
i want to have a normal life, talk to girls, dating, making friends but at the same time i just want to stay in my room sleep all day and just watch movies or play games far away from anyone, school crushed my soul
all my friends ghosting me at the same time 3 years ago made it worse
@@clover9725 hey bro, remember, the fake ones leave the real ones stay, you just gotta find the right friends. It sounds like you're making a good effort to get out and fight your social anxiety, respect to you for that. As someone who used to have social anxiety, my advice is to not be so self-conscious. Like, no, the way you're standing in line isn't gonna lead to someone laughing at you with their family at the dinner table. Best of luck to u bro, hope you fix it and get better 💪

Ya know, watching this video on my final year of high school really give me a lot of confidence to do anything at school. First, I have volunteered to sing on stage for an event. Thanks man, you changed my final year of high school into the best year that I have ever went through
really appreciate you sharing this. we need more content/people like this on this weird planet. after the first 15 seconds i could already tell that youre genuine, and that alone is already soothing enough. thank you!
I agree! It’s so nice and a breathe of fresh air to hear someone genuine and something honest!
Having somebody to relate to means a lot to me, Thank You
Update I guess for those who care (I Doubt there's many): My life has completely changed, I've met people and have become a great person from where I was before, I have a friend group now! after so long after my original one disbanded pretty much, I haven't been able to get over it until now and now I've moved on and met new friends.
🙌
now i really want to know what happened with your crush and her friend group lol

This makes me believe it more though, that nobody truly cares, so thank you for putting me into this more positive mindset.
yeah man, i really dont care man.
That was so beautiful, you've really changed the gears of my mind.

Dude, usually it’s a meme to put in some stimulating gameplay along with some random talk but that Minecraft background video was so soothing and chill along with the story you told. Good stuff
This warmed my heart a bit. Thank You.

Bro this helps so much with my anxiety I really needed to hear that. Thank you.
in that situation i would probably start making up lyrics like "let me go, let me go, please get me off this stage" etc. funny story and great video!!
This is a huge help, I have serious problems with socializing and am not good at conversation (or atleast don't think I am) and it gets so bad that I may have social anxiety. Not sure but I have a bad habit of freezing up and barely talking when I get too involved in a social scenario. This is advice I wish to take with for the rest of my life and I bet a lot of people would also like to here this. You are an everyday hero.
