Hi Tracey, Andy, and of course Billy. What a beautiful day you had for it. Absolutely amazing, it is a great part of the Lake District isn’t it. Shame there was no snow, but the glorious blue skies certainly made up for it. Hope you have had a great weekend. Dave 😀🥾⛰
Wonderful views Tracey. Stunning drone footage, well done Andy. Although it looked dry there were some very long icicles. The weather was on your side albeit cold on the way up. Loved your description of the wiggly waggly path. Billy looked smart in his new bright red coat. Andy up to his antics again. Take care and stay safe. ATB to you all 😊
What a terrific walk and a great day for it. Causey Pike is a really enjoyable climb at any time but but in those conditions it's superb. The fells looked spectacular. Some beautiful shots and footage by the drone. Thanks for sharing the walk with us.
Brilliant to see the Greendale Round again. Did this in Summer weather and found the last part good going but can imagine it being tricky in Recent Wet weather. Great Narrative Info on the tops another Stunning Adventure.
What a lovely trip that was. Looked like such an interesting route too, lots of a variation. Definitely one I’ll be using for a camp. All the best to you, Andy and Billy, ATVB Robert
Lovely "weird " adventure Tracey. 😂 You two (three) are delightful! 😊 I am still waiting for the day when we bump into each other somewhere on the fells.
Fantastic video Tracey, I loved the scenery on this hike. We are up in the lakes again in March so this will definitely one we will be trying to do I bet you were glad of that Paramo on this one lol
Ah mu favourite village Braithwaite 😍 ❤ have parked there near the church ⛪ on many occasions to begin walking on this truly magical area around Coledale 😊this is 1of the best going up onto Causey Pike , what views all around eh? Billy Bob 🐶🐕looked great in the red coat ❤excellent area this Tracey., what's not to like❤regards to you,Andy and Billy Bob 🐶🐕❤
Always nice to settle down for a brew to watch your latest videos. I was looking for a easier route up Barrow so will try it out in the new year. Thanks.
Stunning views from that drone footage! Looks great. We've been looking at getting a wild camp done in the district and after seeing the views from this video it's a MUST! Thank you for this. New sub from us.
Brilliant show around tracey loving Billy's red coat lol this is one of the first walks I have planned for next year the full horseshoe excellent views all over on this one i love the look of the path going upto to sail this is one of my other favourite part of the lakes brilliant stuff nice day also this time for yous still looked cold but clear love it
Hiya Tracey, Andy and Billy Bob the red coated wonder dog. Well I really enjoyed this. What a fabulous ridge walk. Amazing views along the tops. I'm so jealous! That's a nice easy way up to Causey Pike isn't it? I thought the descent route looked okay on the video? What a fantastic day out you had. The views were spectacular from every angle. I can't see where you've put the gpx route in the description unless I'm missing something. Thanks for sharing ATB David
Oh gosh i so want to do this! I keep planning and then back off. I just not overly confident with it. When i watched the first attempt i though nope, not for me. When the weather turned. But tou are statting the hike from where I would like to start. Looking forward to it. AnnieGray and Islay.
@@Muddipaws1308 You would be absolutely fine on this way up Causey Pike it's really easy ...the bit that's a bit dodgy was the descent but you could do this route in reverse and ascend Scar Crags first and then come down the very easy path from Causey Pike , and I would say not to do this route if any snow as my descent route fills up wirh deep snow and it's really icy but otherwise it's no problem at all , you will love this walk x 😀
@Traceyattrill-Essexgirlinwild just watched the whole video, this walk is perfect. Intention is to do your route, head back over the ridge to Outerside, then back to Braithwaite 😊
Hi Tracey, Andy and Billy. Such a beautiful area around Coledale and the drone footage shows in off beautifully. Ive never used that path through Barrow Door but it looks fab route to the main ridge and love your route. On the map time i noticed a few little paths running round the back of stile end too. Do they still exist Tracey. Looks a good place to explore in any case. ATB 🙂
Yes those paths still exist , I have used one on the gpx route in description , you get great views on stile end a d from the other side heading down too 😀 thanks again Tony
Hi Tracey, Sure does look like winter, even some icicles, but no snow. Great footage from Andy, we've all got used to such shots, ten years ago it was very rare for individuals to have such kit. Wonder what you will be filming in 2034? How many peaks is Billy up to now? No signs of slowing down. Also, no signs of Andy behaving himself (it wouldn't be right), did you stop at The Coldale Inn? Yer Finches were on form. Did I manage to miss the date 📅, probably need new glasses 👓😁. Cheers Graham
@gberish602 thanks Graham by 2034 we could all be wizzing around on hover crafts, no we didn't go in to coledale inn a much as a glass of wine would have gone down very well 😀
Fabulous vid, thank you Tracey.🙏🙏
It took ages to watch as I kept rewinding it to take in the awesome drone footage and views.
