Britain's Narrowest Ridge Hike: Conquering the Cuillin Ridge In Winter

- Join me, Willem, David and Rab, on an epic winter adventure as we take on a sections of Britain's most beautiful and challenging ridge hike: the iconic Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye.
This circular hike started and finished at Glen Brittle Youth Hostel and saw us summiting three incredible Munros: Sgurr na Banachdich, Sgurr a' Ghreadaidh, and Sgurr a' Mhadaidh.
The Cuillin Ridge is not for the faint-hearted or inexperienced hikers. This hike is extremely technical and exposed, taking us across the narrowest and most difficult ridge in the UK, where every step demanded skill, precision, and focus. With icy conditions and stunning winter scenery, this was an unforgettable experience, but one that required the right skillset, knowledge, gear, and favourable weather to undertake safely.
If you're considering tackling this awe-inspiring ridge, or just want to experience the beauty and intensity of this world-class route, make sure you have the skillset, equipment, and knowledge to do so. If in doubt, hire a guide or give it a miss.

Some outstanding footage there.. nice one! :-)
Great video footage, I could never do this, what an amazing achievement, all of you!!
Brilliant video. What a day you all had. Brought back many happy memories for me. First climbed on the Cuillins in 1970. Did the whole ridge in one push in 1979. Glad to see there are young guys like yourself still getting out there.
Absolutely amazing mate! Only done 2 of the black Cullen Munros. Eager to get up there again. Your route looked superb 👌 Love the drone footage as well. 💪🫶
Fortunate to have climbed all the peaks on the ridge, a superb video, I'll be back again in June, there is nowhere quite like the Cuillin, a special place.

Great video. I used to live near portree and somehow the cuillin is in my soul.
As a Scot , this is when I am wishing I had experienced this when I was younger . Instead I opted to travel extensively outwith my stunning homeland .Nevertheless I am still a fit 61 years so who knows. Thanks for sharing spectacular Skye
Having a mate on your trip called ‘Rab’ has to give you an advantage in the hills 🤣
"Not hard" except for outta shape little me lol. And then you have the skree and ridgeline. Absolutely gorgeous views tho. ❤

Beautiful video mate. Im from North Wales too! But the Scottish Highlands hit differently! Good knowledge of the area too
Fantastic great views especially over to Rum(my favourite place in the Highlands) great weather helps brilliant video and yes I have been walking over 30 years all over the U.K. and as a proud Welshman I agree the Cullin is the best mountain range in U.K. ATB Andy k

Seen Rabs pics on Insta. Looked a magic trip lads. 👌😎
You don’t ever “conquer” a mountain. It let you be there for a while.
