I wouldn't call it a "bandwagon", mainly considering SoP isn't nearly as well known as Necrophagist (which is a travesty in itself) especially to the younger crowd.

That earth day has such a unique vibe when playing it... Definitely not as easy as it looks... And too sing a vocal melody over it as flawless as he does. Is why there is only one Devin Townsend... Crazy riff

Dude's music is great. He doesn't take himself too seriously but I honestly can see him composing music for a video game.
@@daoyang223 Devin could absolutely do that, based purely on his ability to compose music. However, I've read/heard before that he wanted to do that but doesn't really know much about games. That's probably mostly due to the fact that he just can't get into video games himself since he can't keep interest, from what he's said before. He'd rather do something else, something more productive. I believe, he said it feels kinda like wasting time.
