I was expecting at least one from a new era of corruption specifically the lead on reprogrammed to hate when Phil was doing the highest vocals of any album to date but would’ve loved seeing him show off the main riff from messiahbolical from this is exile. Still one of my favorite songs they’ve made

Also, it's cool hearing about Dean's speech therapy (and success in therapy) since I'm currently in school studying communication science and speech disorders. My uncle had a stutter and speech therapy helped him greatly. Communication theory and speech science is tyte AF. Glad it was useful in your life!

I don't know if you have contacts with one of those bands but an episode with one of the following bands would be crazy. They all have sick riffs and there's possibility to have easy and very hard riffs :

I'm not a huge fan of Whitechapel, but I randomly got to meet them backstage at some music festival and I have to say they were the some of nicest dudes ever. Also a they had a great sense of humor. Definitely more of a fan after meeting them.

This was awesome! I wish that Ben would have included some songs from their first two albums: The Somatic Defilement and This Is Exile. They're my favorite.
Somatic Defilement was mostly slicked-down recordings of earlier (better) songs, This is Exile was garbage.
@@OlExtraRegularBass I respectfully disagree about this is exile being garbage. I feel like Whitechapel has gotten softer and less brutal over the years. I feel like the anger and suffering behind the first couple of albums are no longer there, or have lessened. I wouldn't be surprised if they played the new stuff on the radio. This saddens me.

The demos were the peak of the band, and as a band founded on the Jack the Ripper legend I think songs about scene unity are FAR too out there to forgive. You have your opinion, I'll have mine.

I'm from Maryville Tennessee where the band originated from. Gabe the bassist(if he still is),.....his mom and mom were friends. My mom was a 6-8th special ed teacher and Gabe went to High School next door where she taught at William Blount. Unless I was ill informed. Legit the very first metal band to make it outta Maryville TN.
I’ve always loved driving through Maryville, beautiful area (before the tourist trap that is Pigeon Forge).

YO, do one with Despised Icon next. Some of their riffs are pretty tricky but they have quite some manageable riffs too, so you can still fill up two thirds of the video with crow bullshit. Loved the video, keep it up.
