    I love what you have done. Sound is amazing. It is good to see, no matter where in the world you may be, busting knuckles under the vehicle is the same. My reaction is the same as yours. I guess we have all done it.

    One of the best sounding MX-5's I've ever heard.
    Very Motorsports sounding.
    Today I picked up a manual 2019 MX-5 Miata RF Club.
    What a fun car, but doesn't sound very sporting.
    I need to do something about it.

    Great Video. Bravo. You are good. I have the same ulter sport exhaust. I was considering to change the header and reprogram the software but now I am in doubt if installing the mid pipe of your video instead. Mmmm . Sooo many doubts.

      hehe thanks! If it is only sound you want then the midpipe is sufficient with the Ulter. I can promise you that, it will get really loud as in really loud :)

      @@Themazcorner well... then if it gets really loud maybe its not for me. I would then prefer some more HP. Now i am checking if i can get here in Italy a good header for a fare price. Because i see its becoming a drug tuning my little red mx5 . And its quite expensive and with no limits... 🤪

    Honestly, to be more safe on the road, I would have gotten the electrical Valve Ulter exhaust. I can REALLY recommend it, you can switch it to sound decent as the normal Ulter or open the Valve and it gets INSANE.

      the car is not my daily so I have no issues as such that it can get loud when I want it to.
      if you want insane you should listen how my car sounds now :D

    As always, great, detailed and informative video. Thanks for that. What I don't quite understand is how to meet the emission standards when the catalytic converter is gone?
    It would also be interesting whether it is not necessary to reset everything (engine management due to changed exhaust gas values, etc.)?

      thank you! I will change the pipe when it is time for inspection., it's a quick job to change.
      No error codes etc so no need to reset anything

      When replacing/removing the cat in the midpipe there is no issue as the O2 sensor is before the cat. So no check engine light och remapping needed.
      However if you change the header without a cat then it will need reprogramming as the ther is an O2 sensor before and after the header cat

      sorry for the late reply! You will hear from the exhaust at certain RPM's
      However this is also dependant on the axle back system

    Well Maz I hope you won't get a fine but I think environmental in Sweden as well in my province are formally strict regarding the cat delete. But you may gain 4-6 HP at the wheels. BTW you get disquallified with this exhaust in MX-5 races in North America!

      You can get a tune from Fab9 for half the cost of the mid-pipe for 9-11 HP increase at the wheel :)

      @@Dan-xj9vd tune will void my warranty :P and I will not get the sound. The change of midpipe was mainly from a sound perspective and not performance the car would still be slow with 10WHP more :D
      When it is time for inspection it is quite easy to swap, takes 30 minutes and I am done.
      I will look into an option for a race-cat, the car sounds awesome but it sounds like it has 300whp if you get the drill lol

      Carbon miata sells a set for the front and rears for 99 USD. Not sure if they have them in stock!

      @@Themazcorner my fault. Thought I did reply but appreciate your response. I actually puts u ended up plasti dipping e wemblems for my last GT. For my first time doing it, I actually thought I did a ecent job even though it wore off after a year or so. It was a giant pain just blockinn everything up with newspaper since the car was silver lol

I was actually watching more of your channel last night and it’s pretty scary how similar our car taste must be… I had a 2015 Mustang GT and loved it but then became a sales rep using my own car and just wasn’t practical anymore after supercharging it. I then leased a new 2019 BMW 330i. First year of new body style. I got a new job recently where I was given a company SUV which was really nice so once my lease was up on my BMW I turned it in and said I just want a fun weekend/ play car in a manual and cool to have a convertible. Test drove one and I was hooked. So we’ve literally had the same cars haha too funny. And there’s no words that can explain the ND2 I feel like. My Mustang was stupid fast but to me this is more enjoyable and truly a drivers car. Only got my new 2022 about a month ago so only have an exhaust so far but I can’t wait for how this will be once I’ve done the mods I’ve wanted. I’ll eventually change exhaust to a real dual like you have and a nice tune is next for me

    An idea: if I would remove only one filter on the mid pipe?
    Do you think could it make a good sound but more civil?
    I love yours but I am afraid to be stopped behind every corner.
    P.s: I already installed the ulter sport.

      from e.g. Aros you can get the midpipe without the resonator and keep the cat. So you can try with that and if it is good then all good :)

      I was looking into getting the section of the pipe with a resonator but only that part is over 300 EUR with shipping etc

P.s: I love the sound of Yours with no resonator and kat but I am only afraid the police would stop me for that because too loud. Is it civil if we dont go over 3000pm? Cause maybe I can do it then

      sorry for the late reply! There is no more drone as such but the Ulter has some boominess to it at lower RPM specially when decelerating
      But obviously the exhaust sound itself is higher so that will be heard above 3k rpm

      it's difficult to capture the sound on vid but agreed it's sounds very fruity now :)
      I don't think I lost any power, it's a bit tricky as the car sounds so much more it's difficult to say with all the sensations going on! However with that said on the straight on a track which I have been at several times the top speed was higher (not saying it is only due to the pipe but still)
      I will try do some dragy runs next year when the car is out from storage! For some reason I never did this year :(
