You sound incredibly ignorant. LeBron is still considered a “villain” by a multitude of Pilgrims and Sellouts. The fact you said he “blows up” teams and leaves them in “shambles” is exposes how ignorant you are about Basketball. LeBron left the Heat after 2014 and the Heat were back in the Finals by 2020 and 2023. LeBron left the Cavs after 2018 and by 2022 the Cavs were 44-36 and by 2023 the Cavs were 51-21 Now in 2024 the Cavs have the #2 seed in the East on a 9-1 winning streak. Karen’s crying over the competitiveness of an exhibition game is laughable. The All Star teams took 168 shots from 3Pt and now every mediocre podcast is struggling to get 10K views on a video by blaming LeBron for an All Star game they allegedly didn’t enjoy. It’s all for clicks and views preying on your resentments and your irrational hatred for someone the media trained you to hate
The NBA needs to put winning the allstar game or allstar events as an incentive or requirement to be eligible for a super max or 100% of the super max.
Total bullshit. Kobe haters in the media love to downplay the reverence that other great players have for him because it goes against their assessment of Lebron being better than Kobe. Fact of the matter is that those great players have way more credibility on that subject than them
The easiest way to fix the all star game is to change the contract incentives from making an all star team to winning the all star game. Problem solved.
Good luck with agents signing off on that. Players association ain’t having it. If fans want this exhibition to be more competitive then they’ll just have to accept the fact that injuries are a part of physical exertion. My suggestion is money.. The MVP gets $1 million dollars, Most Points $250K Most Rebounds $250K Most Assists $250K Most Steals $250K Most Blocjs $250K Each player on the winning team gets $100K If the 30 Billionaire owners want to improve their product they need to open up their pockets. Prize money for the Dunk contest and the 3Pt contest.
Douge is right about Kobe. And I'll add that I cant remember Kobe being THE face of the league... the 3-peat was on Shaqs team who won all three finals MVP. When Shaq left KB was great, but Tmac was right there. People forget that there was a stretch where Kobe was forcing his game and taking a lot bad shots before Phil came back and the Lakers made a move for Gasoul. He flops, complains, jumps from team to team chasing rings, load manages more than any player EVER, calls himself the GOAT at every opportunity because even he knows he aint the damn goat but he thinks that if he says it often enough people might start to believe it. He has created this player first mentallity where the players think the fans owe them. Hes just obnoxious and most people will say good riddance when hes gone.

Jordan doesn’t need to be defended and he left the league better or just as good when he left it. Kobe basically emulated Jordan’s whole style.😂 Cmon now….
I think the style change from not having 2 pf and centers on the court effects the all star game. Pick up basketball needs post up players or the games look just like this now
More skilled now? Where was that on display All Star Weekend? When there’s no defense and restrictions on defense as compared to past eras then yes players can show more offensive “skill”.
“Steph creeping up on the legacy of LeBron James” lol right. As much heat as KD gets for joining the 73 win warriors the team that embraced him with tears in their eyes after LeBron defeated them are just as weak
Go watch tape. There was a release of several all-stars videos with each of their appearances smashed into one video (many of the folks commenting might have seen this series), the change of the all star game was notably different in the 2017 clip onward. So, what happened in 2017?
There are 450 players in the league. Lebron is in year 21. My question is when is some else going to step up. It’s always lebrons fault. SMH. If I recall last years all star game Lebron blocked a shot and hurt his hand. I also recalled that shai cried on the podium because Lebron blocked his chance to score in his 1st points in the all star game. He was offended lebron actually played defense. Lol

From 01 until 10 kobe was best player in the league. 01-03 he had players close to him where you could argue. T mac was one. Shaq was the most dominant during that time, but all around player, it was kobe. So its debatable 01-03, but once you get past 03, it definitely was kobe until 2010.
@bighomey4343 being dominant because of size and natural strength is different from all around skill. Shaq was naturally bigger, obviously, so he could just smash it on dudes. Kobe could do everything else better as a basketball player. Handle, jumper, shoot threes, guard the top players who handled the ball. So again. Shaq was the most dominant, Kobe was best all around player. That's why the were the best one, two punch. Plus, Shaq was the most dominant player from 00-03. That's why I said definitely after 03, Kobe was the best in the league, if you don't wanna give him 01-03.

LeBron and AD just sat out a nationally televised game against the Celtics, the Lakers biggest rival. That tells you all you need to know about LeBron's "leadership".
LeBron is an exceptional leader based on the opinions of his teammates past & present as well as his Coaches. The Celtics are not the same rival that they used to be. Our rivals in 2024 are the Clippers, Warriors and Nuggets, the only way we can get to the Celtics is to get past the Nuggets. When our players sit out games we don’t throw a hissy fit and whine about it because we recognize the fact that LeBron is the oldest player in the NBA and AD has been injury prone. As far as the Celtics are concerned nobody gave a FK when Tatum sat out the game against the Kings or when Jaylen sat out in a nationally televised Sixers game. Ask a Sixers fan about their rivalry with the Celtics. So yeah just ignore these Pilgrims and their hatred, their opinions hold no weight

The NBA moved off Kobe & did not want him to be the face of the league after Colorado, but the players & fans adored him across the league. Towards the end players were even going to him to improve their game. The Lakers literally secured the first billion dollar TV deal thanks to the culture that Kobe helped build in LA. The ONLY NBA player bigger than Kobe in China was Yao. The Phillipines is Laker Nation in large part thanks to Kobe.

LeBron left the Cavs after 2018 and by 2022 the Cavs were 44-36 and by 2023 the Cavs were 51-21
Now in 2024 the Cavs have the #2 seed in the East on a 9-1 winning streak.
This LeBron hate is real
The NBA needs to put winning the allstar game or allstar events as an incentive or requirement to be eligible for a super max or 100% of the super max.
Which ever team wins the all star game, game 7 of the nba finals is at the team stadium regardless their seeding.
@704chevygang if im on a crappy team why would I want to help my rival win a chip...?
@@Michael-tc1dm it’s one of you and at least 4 contenders on the court your production and lack of effort can be adjusted to the bench.
Straight facts
Total bullshit. Kobe haters in the media love to downplay the reverence that other great players have for him because it goes against their assessment of Lebron being better than Kobe. Fact of the matter is that those great players have way more credibility on that subject than them
The easiest way to fix the all star game is to change the contract incentives from making an all star team to winning the all star game.
Problem solved.
we're boycotting next year to send a message
Good luck with agents signing off on that. Players association ain’t having it.
If fans want this exhibition to be more competitive then they’ll just have to accept the fact that injuries are a part of physical exertion.
My suggestion is money..
The MVP gets $1 million dollars,
Most Points $250K
Most Rebounds $250K
Most Assists $250K
Most Steals $250K
Most Blocjs $250K
Each player on the winning team gets $100K
If the 30 Billionaire owners want to improve their product they need to open up their pockets.
Prize money for the Dunk contest and the 3Pt contest.
So where is the feeds crediting Lebron......seems like everytime I see a comment from Doug its critical and HATE
But Kobe never really dominated the league the we WANT to remember he did
Kobe was that dude from 05-10.
@bdoff23 Yes he was, and in my mind he was the 💩, but the media made LeBum the face of the NBA which I think is Asanine the NBA doesn't need a face.
Kobe was never the face of the league.
@@bighomey4343 Who was ‘the face’ from 08-10 exactly? And don’t say that phony from Akron who is peers didn’t recognize as the best in the league at the time.
@bdoff23 LeBrons been the face of the League since 2005 -2006 and still the face today.
This might be the dumbest, most self-serving NBA take I've ever heard. And I've heard many
Lebron has been a plague for the sport for the better part of 15 years. He is the most narcissistic athlete of the 21st century.
I tell u boy, these guys do whatever they can to protect jordan.
It’s utterly disgusting, and they say Lebron fans are ridiculous.
This one ain’t about MJ it’s about a failed sports pundit desperate for clicks and views.
He’s like the other FOX flunkies who use negative opinions about LeBron to cater to the Skkkip Bayless fans and other random Caucservatives.
It’s the only way they can generate the engagements to keep their struggling playful rms afloat
That’s not what he’s saying. He’s giving him credit for the positives and calling out his negatives. There’s nothing wrong with that if you’re stating facts. Granted, I don’t agree with all of it but it was a fair assessment. Y’all in ya feelings 😢 need to chill. Jordan doesn’t need to be defended and he left the league better or just as good when he left it. Kobe basically emulated Jordan’s whole style.😂 Cmon now….
Keep telling yourself that, insecure Bron boy
@@SaucyJellyTH-camGamingyou are
I think the style change from not having 2 pf and centers on the court effects the all star game. Pick up basketball needs post up players or the games look just like this now
More skilled now? Where was that on display All Star Weekend? When there’s no defense and restrictions on defense as compared to past eras then yes players can show more offensive “skill”.
Every player on the losing team should be subject to an eligibility vote from the fans for the next year's ASG...problem solved!
Blame LeBron for everything🤣🤣🤣🤣it's ridiculous
Look at you crying
“Steph creeping up on the legacy of LeBron James” lol right. As much heat as KD gets for joining the 73 win warriors the team that embraced him with tears in their eyes after LeBron defeated them are just as weak
Hahahaha the way people blame Bron for everything they hate about the NBA hahahaha
Lol
When Klutch Sports Media stop paying sports journalists to praise Lebron every single second
@@DadWontDieThat’s a Cauc myth created as a coping mechanism:
Klutch Sports is a sports agency not a slush fund to pay for random opinions.
Caucs are so threatened by an AA owned Sports Agency that they’ve convinced themselves that Sports Agencies pay media members to praise a player.
I’m like okay you sick minded deranged Devil, name the agency that’s paying media members to say LeBron ruined an exhibition game that’s catered to kids.
It must be FOX paying these Demons to spew their irrational Hatred
Only one slight problem with your argument. Lebron doesn’t run the NBA. He’s not even the head of the players association. We love to bash Lebron and act like he doesn’t deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as the all time greats. Yet every chance we get, we act like everything that happens in this league is because of him.
Its Lebron's league whether you agree or not.

Larry Bird came out and said these hacks need to stop whining about LeBron, it’s tired and reeks of desperation to get clicks & views
Meh, facts don’t matter when you cater your content to the crowd that Gottlieb does.
Keep in mind that this desperate Devil is acting like this over a meaningless exhibition game. 😂
Could you imagine NFL fans being so weak and emasculated that they start whining about the competitiveness of the Peo Bowl 💀
How can u blame bron for other vrown men
Since when was the all star game competitive ? There’s 82 competitive games a season, why should we care ?
We're going to look back in 20 years & think all this GOAT James hate was just silly. His all time scoring record is the icing on the cake of a stellar career
Hahah wrong
Nope because he will be remembered for stat-padding, like Westbrook.
Lebron for longevity that’s about it. Because of Steph winning chips LeBron had to share the spot lot.
Not so sure about that.
Individuals with Hatred inside them rarely change, they typically wallow in misery until they croak
I'm sure espn will blame luka ,like always
From 01 until 10 kobe was best player in the league. 01-03 he had players close to him where you could argue. T mac was one. Shaq was the most dominant during that time, but all around player, it was kobe. So its debatable 01-03, but once you get past 03, it definitely was kobe until 2010.
So when Shaq was dominating kobe was better LOL
@bighomey4343 being dominant because of size and natural strength is different from all around skill. Shaq was naturally bigger, obviously, so he could just smash it on dudes. Kobe could do everything else better as a basketball player. Handle, jumper, shoot threes, guard the top players who handled the ball. So again. Shaq was the most dominant, Kobe was best all around player. That's why the were the best one, two punch. Plus, Shaq was the most dominant player from 00-03. That's why I said definitely after 03, Kobe was the best in the league, if you don't wanna give him 01-03.
This is BIG CAP
I don’t think Lebron has many real friends in the nba. It’s ok I don’t have a lot of real friends either but I’m not fake 😂
You’re projecting your own life onto somebody else’s.
It’s not your fault, if your under a Gottlieb video you most likely don’t watch the NBA.

You mean Jordan would accept this kind of all star game. It's Lebron's spirit. But not just Lebron's, Curry's also.
@Kodreanu23 Yes he would because he wouldn't b able to control 23 other players. Plus he'd b a product of this era were players are making insane $$, they all have brands, they ALL use some form of load management so they can save their bodies and focus their energy on the playoffs.

This dude sounds like a clown 🤡, the all-star debacle is on Adam Silver, he should have had a pep talk or something to try and motivate them to say least play competitive for 2 quarters
All you have to do is literally listen to Kobe's contemporaries & how they spoke/speak about him.
He helped bring respect back to Team USA & was one arguably the main reason AS games were competitive.
Lastly, Kobe was the most popular American star internationally. The ONLY NBA player bigger than Kobe in China was Yao. The Phillipines is Laker Nation in large part thanks to Kobe.
Steph definitely doesn’t like LBJ at all, but LBJ wants to make sure he looks like their friends cause Steph’s got has a pristine public persona.
I agree with Doug on this 💯
The worst thing LeBron did as a leader, a King, was to teach players not to give a f*** about anything except money (and be entitled to it) and rings (and act entitled to it).
