As ever, thank you for your work putting together this channel, Reddhawk! Like many of my Everquest friends at the time, even though I was still playing the game when Gates of Discord released in September ‘04, I never actually bought the expansion, since I knew I’d be leaving for EQ2 when it released in November. Also like many people, I ended up quickly leaving EQ2 for World of Warcraft when it released a few weeks after that. All of which is to say, this is my first time hearing the Omens of War soundtrack.
The composers for Omens of War were Paul Romero and Robert King, who composed the music for four other expansions (Planes of Power, Legacy of Ykesha, Lost Dungeons of Norrath, and Gates of Discord). Omens of War was the last EQ expansion they composed music for.
Paul and Rob were actually interviewed a couple years ago for the short-lived, though excellent, The Everquest Show: th-cam.com/video/60waH0rspcw/w-d-xo.html

Glad you enjoyed it! The game brings back so many great memories for me and I think a big part of how I remember the game is sitting in zones exping or running somewhere else.
