    When are you going to add stroke effect for texts :(

    • @techsmith
      @techsmith  ปีที่แล้ว

      We actually do have this! If you apply the border effect to a text object, and then check "Use Alpha", it will snap the border onto the text, giving it a stroke effect.

      That's great to hear! Our goal with Audio Visualizers was to strike a really great balance between ease-of-use but also the ability to make something visually engaging. Definitely give it a try and let us know how it goes!

      Just to be sure, before we look at sending you for tech support, can you check to be sure you're using Camtasia version 23.2.0? If you ARE, then you may want to open a ticket with Technical Support by going here: bit.ly/techsmith-help (ONLY if you're up-to-date, otherwise start by updating, then you should find it in the Library).

    Would be awesome to have some audio reactive animations or behaviours like for example for text or images so they can jump, rotate or scale horizotally and/or vertically or both to the audio- Would make it even better since thats the one thing I still seem to be missing from this as I mostly do audio/music related stuff- That being said tho I love them! Better than not having any and doing it manually xP Honestly I didnt think it would even come to Camtasia so kudos to you guys! Keep it up! Id also love to see things like keyframing or tracking objects but thats sucha complicated thing that I have my doubts of seeing it in Camtasia given its aimed to be just a simplistic program for anybody to be able to pick up and understand and edit anything- And dont get me wrong thats why I like it compared to other editing software but Id love some more professional tools. It would make it even better with the way you guys implement everything- if you managed to do it so its simple to do and use like everything is it would be amazing and more worth all the money! :>

    • @techsmith
      @techsmith  ปีที่แล้ว

      Never fear! If you've got 2023, you just need to "Check For Updates." If you're on Windows find that under the "Help" file menu, and if you're on a Mac, find it under the "Camtasia 2023" file menu in the top left. Once you've run that, you should have it!

      @@filmshorties You can totally already do this right now! Just add your Dynamic Background and/or Audio Visualizer to the timeline, add a custom animation to it, and change the settings on the in and out points. The dynamic properties will adjust over the duration of your keyframe and dynamically change to whatever you want. It's a really cool extension of the feature, and definitely a secret weapon! 😉

    Camtasia has been my go to capture and editor for video for many years. My biggest issue is the lack of setting default folders to save for both capture, project and export files. I can set the default recording location but once I save the project it doesn’t default to this. An optional setting that brings up a pop up to set overall folders for everything each time I either hit record or start a new project would be really appreciated for faster workflow. Thank you!

    • @techsmith
      @techsmith  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Without seeing your workflow, I THINK the answer would be yes IF you have the audio tracks recorded separately. So Camera A has it's own audio track and Visualizer A would sit on top of that track. Camera B with a different audio track could have Visualizer B sitting on top of it and those should react only to their separate audio tracks.
      However, if it's all one audio recording, it wouldn't recognize the different voices without splitting the clip up.
