During the late 80s my BF of the time used to manage a Cafe in Melbourne, and I used to see Jane there on a weekly basis, and we started talking on many occasions, she was one of the most delightful people that I have had the pleasure of meeting, always very friendly and nice, you can always tell how a person is by the way they treat service staff, and she was perfection.
That was really great - I loved the series V as a kid, and especially the character Diana. Wishing Jane love and support for everything she has been through, and for still entertaining us after all these decades.
Amazing how the nicest and most down to earth of people in Hollywood make the best villains in entertainment. Jane is a real sweetheart. V was one of my favorite TV shows growing up. Saw Jane's sweet personality during one of the Superstars sports shows featuring celebrities from V.
I'm so fond of "V" and so fond of Diana. I loved this series so much as a kid, even the theme song was incredible, and the characters were charismatic. I've seen it dozens of times and I'm missing it so bad. I wish a new version (up to the original/ not as crap as the one with Morena Baccarin) was in the pipes. Diana's voice in France was even deeper and had an echo effect (common to all Visitors), it was wicked. Jane Badler's character was the most iconic, she was both a gorgeous femme fatale and an evil monster. Thank you Miss Badler for making this series so special, je vous aime! I'm not forgetting the other actors/actresses who were great as well. I'm feeling so nostalgic now... ;( PS: I'm sorry for Jane Badler' son...life's so unfair sometimes. May he rest in peace.
I know exactly what she is saying about sometimes the greiving process might be delayed...my Daddy passed away 2022, I feel so bad that I have not cried like really really break down, I talked to somebody about it and I was told that it does not mean anything terrible just that everyone grieves differently. I get what Jane is saying
Jane was due to attend a convention here in Australia a few years ago..I was so excited at having the chance to meet Diana herself but sadly she pulled out.
I’m so sorry to hear about her son, Harry. To not be able to sleep is torture. My heart goes out to Jane, her family and to Harry. I was a BIG fan of V when I was a kid.
OMFG. Jane you are truly amazing. I have always loved your incredible presence on the screen. Such passion, charisma, with a little sarcasm at times and sharp comments. Diana was perfect for you. So venomous and evil. I loved it I am so sorry for the losses you had with your family. I dont know how you are anyone would cope. It brought me to tears. I was so moved. You seem so kind, genuine and compassionate which is a complete contrast to Your Diana character. The series V the visitors would not have been the same or as successful without you in it. I would go straight for you. i think you are AWESOME xxx
V was ahead of its time. Jane Badler was a big reason the show was what it was, I was 6 years old when the series premiered. I had such a crush on her. She still looks amazing
It's been said, that some tv & movie villains, are portrayed by the nicest people. I loved Jane as the evil Diana in V. She was truly amazing in that role! I do feel sorry for her for the loss of her son Harry. I can't even imagine the heartache & pain she must have gone through to loss her child. My heart went out to her when I heard about his passing.
V was absolutely fantastic. In '84 - for a TV show it raised the bar. The mini-series was really top drawer. The final battler wasn't quite as good, but it was still really great viewing and wrapped the story up. Jane Badler was fantastic as Diana. She comes across really great here. Nice interview.
Back in 1983 and being a fourteen-year-old boy watching the original series, I spent ALOT of private time "thinking" about this woman. She's still fine and quit the GILF!
V was a pilot that got such good ratings , NBC immediately made it into a series and it helped NBC get out of the TV Network in the last place ratings slump .
I loved V and one of the reasons why was Jane Badler’s portrayal of Diana. Between her and Joan Collins on Dynasty I had my fill of femme fatale moments. AND let me just say that Jane had the most gravity defying hair on television. LOVED her hair.
Jane Badler is a ultimate gay icon and I just adore her. I was only a little kid in the 80s and remember being obsessed with her in the V series. I’ve dealt with lost and grief so I can relate, peace be with everyone we all go through it, but in the human spirit, we are strong, and we are all together, “one love “.peace be with you all.
I only know her from "V", but it's weird how much of a New York accent she has! Especially if she's been living in Australia for a long time. She must have had a great vocal coach to have a "neutral" accent in "V"
I can honestly say I was smitten with her at the age of 16 when I first saw her on V. She's the most beautiful woman I ever did see and still think she is to this day & iam 55 now ha
I love that she's developed a "mid-Pacific" accent since moving to Australia! The 2009 reboot was actually quite good - I was disappointed when it got cancelled. I would have loved to see where they went with it.
Two very good scenes in the original V, THAT scene with Jane's char swallowing a rat/mouse, and the elderly gentlemen telling the kids HOW to spray paint their protest LOL. In my opinion, although the CGI was cleaner/smoother in the sequel the original one had better plot etc. You could've combined V with Alien Nation, really get some good plot episodes going.
Jane was both beautiful and terrifying in V. Watching this in high school was confusing because you looked at Diana in V and you were like.. there are worse ways to die.
There Was A Movie That Jane Badler Starred (It Was Titled Fine Gold! I Think) Ray Waltson Was In The Movie Too. Jane Had A Few Scenes With Him 1 Of Them They Are Both In A Bank Talking To The Bank Manager. When Ray Waltson Was Talking To The Bank-Manager Jane Was Smiling From Ear To Ear. I Guess She Watched My Favorite Martian! When She Was A Kid. Diana Meets Uncle Martian How Cool Is That Guess Jane Badler Felt The Same Way Too.
To this day, I am impressed with the after scene from the hamster being eaten. I mean when she swallowed it, that looks fake, but when it is going down her neck, it still seems baffling how they pulled that off
Diana is one of the greatest scifi villains. She's beautiful but that's not the reason she's a great villain. She's extremely intelligent and clever. Watch the two miniseries... it gradually is the case that Diana is the subject of every situation and conversation whether she's onscreen or not.
Seems to be a common TV trope, the super-clever villain. Kinda makes you wonder if we got things right... after all, as I understand the series focused on how humans only fought in the Resistance in order to "preserve their way of life" (ie. corruption) which is something I notice in almost every sci-fi plot. "Oh no, nobody take our capitalistic bs away!"
I always love Diana from V , she's actually very attractive but yet evil and sinister alien being. But the truth is that she played as the lizard creature, a fiction movie. She's actually very nice and friendly person I never seen her in person.
Dude, as a 8-10 year old kid even I realized how beautiful Jane Badler was.
Yep. I was like,"WOW".
I met her two years ago at a convention. I was 47 years old but upon sight of her I was once again a star struck 9 year old watching V 🤦♂️🤣
I would be, too.

Love Jane for all she is, what she has accomplished, her strength through heartache, her genuine nature, her compassion and love unconditional.

What a great interview. Loved V, and have been a big Jane Badler fan for years. Thanks Craigy B.
I loved V as a kid. I recently rewatched the miniseries and the tv series.
Brilliant interview, loved seeing Jane Badler.
Wow! So awesome that people still remember this series and the great actors. My second top Sci-Fi series of all time.
My First
@@vincentcushnahan5292 So much choice as a kid late 70's - 80's: TOS, BSG, space 1999 and later V, enjoyed them all.
Thank you so much Jane❣️🫶 stay strong.
She was my first tv crush.
Mine too.

Such a great interview! Been a big fan of “V” and Jane for a long time! Incredible woman!
I watched it all back then and now glued to the new series V

She was awesome in V. One the the best tv Sci fi villains ever. Like an 80s icon.
Dude I am watching V right now. Purchased all the content on amazon.
@@themoviereviewwarriors939 it's brilliant. So poiniant right now. Love the part when the old guy was teaching the kids spraying the poster. Enjoy 😉👍

I remember this on TV in the UK in 1985 when I was 11 I absolutely loved it ❤️
Jane was due to attend a convention here in Australia a few years ago..I was so excited at having the chance to meet Diana herself but sadly she pulled out.
She wasn’t the “Supreme Commander”, (That was John), she was the Science Officer. . .
She was the mother of human conversion process
She was de facto in charge
Comes across as totally genuine and a lovely person.
She really is.
Loved V and the fabulous Jane Badler as the deliciously evil Diana.
I’m so sorry to hear about her son, Harry. To not be able to sleep is torture. My heart goes out to Jane, her family and to Harry.
I was a BIG fan of V when I was a kid.
❤ reactions only. Loved her portrayal. Great series.

I got to meet Jane and she signed my dvd set of "V: The Original Series". I felt like such a fan boy. She's a great performer and singer as well!
Isnt mentioned but Jane played in late 80s early 90s REMAKE TV SERIES: MISSION IMPOSSIBLE filmed in Australia.
Got married to a Queensland Buisnessman, had two sons and lives in Australia. She caught the Aussie accent very well.
Back in the day I used to stay glued to this
V was ahead of its time. Jane Badler was a big reason the show was what it was, I was 6 years old when the series premiered. I had such a crush on her. She still looks amazing
Diana.... Saludos desde Ecuador
Tbh.....Jane Badler truly made Diana the iconic image of V
Yeah.
Lovely video. May all go well for Jane. There is something very spiritual about her 💜
The Old Queen Diana looks so so good today on the new V series!!! WOW
Which new V series? Is there a new one?
Jane Badler played that role Perfectly 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

Why did you quit this beautiful gilf?
I did'nt know there had been a "V" parade. I want to see this.
Kind of amazing she never guest starred on Star Trek the next generation or deep space nine
V was a pilot that got such good ratings , NBC immediately made it into a series and it helped NBC get out of the TV Network in the last place ratings slump .
After this interview I love Jane even more ❤
AMAZING INTERWIEW i love you jane

Jane comes across as a very caring , warm , lovely human being not at all like her alien lizard character Diana (who our late dad liked ) in V 😂❤
Jane Badler=Wow

Hola! muy hermosa mujer! excelente actriz y cantante! gracias por compartir!
Omg she was very beautiful on V. Especially the outfits that she wore.
Love Jane's australian accent.
Look forward to her Memoir - autobiography.
I have seen V all episodes at least 80 times

She reminds me of Vivien Leigh. Her V character was like an interstellar Scarlett O'Hara.
my god she's still so gorgeous!!!
She looks amazing! Loved V back in the day
Jane was both beautiful and terrifying in V. Watching this in high school was confusing because you looked at Diana in V and you were like.. there are worse ways to die.
Lol exactly. But Aliens have long represented human desires, of course she'd be a villain (ie. "Demonized" female, just like the Gremlin bride. 😅)
When is Jane's MEMOIR BOOK Coming out ?
I still rewatch V. I guess Kenneth Johnson was working on a movie in 2019.
She still looks gorgeous.
loved this show
Beautiful lady❤❤
Hugs to Jane!
Jane still looks fabuluous , sad she's had so much tragedy in her life . A confident & sassy lady for sure , love her !

V was fantastic!
Mitica, by Lisa, Ricardo and Cry and Lara, Monica, Cristopher ♥️♥️😘
What an absolutely charming lady, love her.
I liked her in Mission Impossible as Shannon Reed
I wonder if they are still doing the v movie trilogy?
As a kid, i thought she was incredibly 🔥🔥🔥
She was such a great baddie, loved her in V.
Was zo leuk en heel spannend om te volgen was een tienermeisje toen ❤

A pity they didn't mention Jane's music career. I have all her albums. They're great.
One of the iconic girls from the 80´s! Still a beautiful woman!
Jane Badler is so nice in real life. Not at all like the evil Diana! Great actress!
I have a crush on this lady.
Damn, our minds were so vulnerable back then 😂😂😭😭
Jane badler was one of the all time great villianesses.
❤❤❤❤❤
Love you Jane my younger self and niw older hugs of love to you and your fsmily❤😢
Would love to see it rebooted for HBO today.
She’s more beautiful than ever…

Love ❤️ you Jane. God bless 🙏
Jane Badler was tight.
The bad girl every teenage boy wanted.
EVEN NOW ❤
Love her and adored Harry ❤❤
Oh my goodness, she’s hardly aged. She really must be an alien.
Viva Jane !!
