I took my CCMA exam on 11/18/22 and I passed!!! You are an amazing teacher. I learned a lot from you. Not only I passed but it was my my moms birthday. She passed 2 years ago 11/11/20. Utah, graduated in 2007, now trying to take the exam, to get certified.
Passing the CCMA test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don’t have time for your studies I’d advise you get yourself a help like Mr James

I studied for months and couldn’t pass, I guess passing is a blessing
CCMA might seem so tough to pass but studying very hard is a very vital skill to win trust me.....

Hello, so last week I stumbled on your page and followed immediately. I Remember I had 3days to do my NHA, and it's required to pass with a 96% I was very frustrated on what I was going to do because I was studying with quizlet (which is good but wasn't enough). My exam was on March 8th 2024 so I started listening to all your videos every morning on my way to externship. I finished externship on Thursday 3/7 and did my NHA 3/8 and I tell you I PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS. Really really thankful I found you. Thank you so much for blessing medical assistants in a such a way. Keep doing what you do mama. We need you.

Hello watching from Maryland and preparing to take my CMA test.
I failed the 1st time but I take again August 6th! I’ve completed my training program to be a CMA but now need to passed the exam! With watching all 4 of your videos , I’m sure I’ll Exceed!!!!!!
Hey Brittney I’m sorry to hear you didn’t pass the first time but I’m excited that you are retaking it on MY birthday ❤️
One of the things I encourage everyone to do is to go through the study guide in its entirety and make sure you know the information and don’t look for the practice test questions. What areas do you fall short in the most? Those are the areas you really want to hone in on before you test again.
Each test is different so it’s hard to say what you need to focus on but I always tell people to make sure you have these things as a foundation- Medical terminology; EKG placement; normal ranges for routine blood work like glucose, potassium, hematocrit, hemoglobin; order of draw and what additive is in each tube; know your normal ranges for pulse, respiration, and blood pressure; know which organ is in which abdominal quadrant; make sure you know each appointment type; know the difference between diagnosis codes and CPT codes; know common abbreviations like CXR, PT, PTT, CBC, CC, C/O, BP, etc; know how to convert feet to inches and vice versa, centimeters to inches and vice versa, pounds to kilograms and vice versa, Celsius to Fahrenheit and vice versa; how many mL are in a Tsp and Tbsp. Know what IS and is NOT within your scope as an MA. OSHA; HIPAA; administrative process for checking the patient in and out; EOB; COB; birthday rule; AOB; NPP. There is so much more but these are some of the foundational things. I hope this helps :)
Btw, Im gonna try to go live tomorrow night for CMAA practice. And some of that administrative information will be helpful to you for the administrative questions you’ll see on the test.

On the CCMA it’s 180 questions. If you are asking about the CMA, I can’t remember off the top of my head, but I just did a video last week about the differences between each one and I think I mentioned it on there.

Question for the 30min video appt if scheduled. What is it that will go over? Asking because I am interested. Taking my exam 12/30! So scared! All I’ve been doing is seeing your videos every part and taking notes! And sometimes over looking the NHA study guide
When you book the appointment, there’s a section where you can write in what you would like to go over. And we can talk about whatever you want. IfIf there are specific subjects like Terminology or Administration that you want to go over, I would just like to know in advance so I could be prepared for the meeting. If you don’t already have the practice tests, I suggest getting those ASAP because they will help prepare you even more than the study guide

I wanted to say in my state I know of one program that will give certification for IV/Infusion and the only requirement is to be a certified phlebotomist or MA. So it’s possible you’ve just gotta get the certification to be official

How do I get to your live
