There is a Polish VR-project: de-profundis.pl/en/ facebook.com/DeProfundisBeksinskiVR/?hc_location=ufi I experienced it in Sanok, in the Beksiński-museum, it was fantastic. In that presentation 3 paintings were involved, but the creator of the presentation informed us, that he is working on incorporating more paintings into the VR-version. He is doing it without much funding, hopefully he is still able to expand the VR-Beksiński-universe.

Considering virtual reality is available for everyone to buy now and how far editing software has progressed since this interview, it's a shame Zdzisław is not around to make the art he had in mind back then. Even then it's likely most would not get it and it would take decades for the work to catch up with everyone 😶
Indeed, he claimed that virtual reality is the future of art. Before death he did a series of photos which he was going to use as textures in 3D programs. I'm currently translating another rare interview (from year 2000) about his computer art and programs. Will publish soon...
