I suspect this is because most people have a habit of repressing their dark side. So they can't look at this absolutely genius art for long time. But yeah, I think Beksinskis art is the same level or even more than a dali or picasso. My brain gets here i an deep silence and exalted condition for hours when i look in a book with beksinskis art. I would die for a day to watch his craft live coming out of his hands

Very interesting that there was so many lights. I saw an interview with him were he stated art work should be seen in the same light it was created, as the extra light would show the flaws and errors. He uses a lot of light for maybe parts of the creative process but the truth is in the dim.

I guess that's his mother, 78 years old at that time, she died in 1988. Both his mum and mother-in-law lived together with Beksiński family.
