he was really enthusiastic about 3D stuff, but VR is entirely different art (if it can even be called art) towards painting. I think that good paintings, like his, evolve in our eyes over time. 3D, however, gives stronger instant impression, but it fades pretty quickly.
Too bad he didn't try his hand at writing sci-fi. He woulda killed it. Fun fact; I literally sculpted a tree in VR and 3d printed it recently. Amazes me how forward thinking he was. Makes me an even bigger fan.
He basically predicted Zbrush, Cintiq tablets and VR sculpting.
And in the other video from the same uploader he predicted ssd hds. Sharp guy.
