*_This is the first time using this inhaler, talked to the pharmacy she tell me how to use it. I read the instruction and I have an idea how to use it. But I need to look for the demonstration on video and this video is the best information on how to use this inhaler disk._*
Thank you for the information as ive been using this inhalor occasionally for asthma..i was NOT holding down the lever when sucking in air!! You are a great teacher and from me to you special thanks my Bro..
Thank you, this was awesome and just so you know my Rx had covered the instructions of use with instructions to use twice a day. After watching your video, I realize I have been using it wrong. Will change with next usage, thank you again.
I prescribed to a patient and didn’t know how to dosage or how many puffs to write for. The pharmacist called me and said Do you really want patient to take 2 puffs. 😂 Advair is a newer op product and this long acting bronchodilators didn’t exist when I was in training. And I don’t have asthma, so I was at a loss. But now I know. 😊
Help my Flovent diskus 60/250 mcg is being discontinued & not covered by my well care Part D. Is this equivalent to the Flovent? Only have till 11/15/23 to get new doc (moved to OR & unbelievably hard to get into doc). Please reply I need help
Please help I always feel nervous after using the seretide. Was using the evohaler which was a smaller dose but currently out of stock in my location but the accuhaler makes me feel nervous...is it because it's a higher dose..the former is 25/125 while the one making me nervous is 50/250
But the instructions indicate breathing out on the side and not near the hole for the powder, another one is that it emphasises breathing the powder fast and holding as long as you can....maybe you should read the instructions doc
Hi Michael, Seretide is not really a reliever as its onset of action is rather slow. It is used mostly for long term control of asthma or in COPD. Most inhalers (including seretide) have very few side effects if used correctly as the inhaled doses of medication are very low (only need a small amount as it is inhaled directly into the lungs). I would advise to always remember to rinse your mouth after use as this is usually an issue if the powder remains in the throat
I just got prescribed this and did not know how to use it, so thank you very much for explaining it in very simple terms😊

If We take more than one dose of Seretide diskus ..what should we have to do ????? ...
Thank you!
Thank you! I appreciate your clear video!
I was told to hold discus flat once lever it triggered. Never tilt it.
The best. Fully informative. 👍👍👍
Thanks, I was prescribed this. Can we drink water instead of gargling. Water doesn’t reach the throat when gargling.
Don't drink
What happens if you push the lever manually back with your finger without using the cover? Will it break the mechanism?

Somthing you didn't mention is that during the first exhale, don't exhale in the direction of the diskus because you can displace the powder.
Thank you so much for the guidance

1. How fast does Seretid Diskus relieves?
2. Does it have side effects?
