THANK YOU!! ive had this thing for almost a month. " Using" it everyday, but with very little or no relief. Now i realize the disk has to be horizontal!! Big difference on the 1st try. Again, thank you. Now, please consider an upload where by individuals like me can avoid or reduce a co- pay of $360 per device! Even my albuterol inhaler has gone up from $5 to $35!
Omg.. Thank you sooo much 🥰 I was just diagnosed with Athsma and I had No Idea how to use this Medication properly the video was very to the point and informative 👍🏼 👌 😀
Thank you for the demo. I thought "quick breath" meant a sudden sucking in of air and then holding for 10 seconds. I can't inhale very much quickly, so I probably didn't get much of my first dose. You show what I would consider a "deep breath" of "full breath."
Thank you Pharmacist Amy! I sort of figured it out, but was doing two things wrong. 1. wasn't keeping it level. Didn't always have it down, but did sometimes. Just had it any old way. 2. Wasn't holding my breath for ten seconds. Now I can do it all right.
I just got mine, the doctor was very good at explaining it but I just needed to see it. Thank you! I also like how you spoke about the steroid, mine has it. But I didn’t really taste the residues haha , regardless , thanks a bunch!
Most inhalers (like Albuterol/rescue inhalers) are much easier to use...you push a plunger down, hear the medicine come out, and the counter clicks. With this discus, you're never really sure if you're getting a dose. I don't like the design, not for the expensive costs.
Hi I am a nurse and I couldn't believe the powder I inhaled not to mention its 2021\ expired 2017. Do you agree with expiration? Ty so much happy and healthy to you and your family
ive taken many inhalers before but this one doesnt seem to make sense to me, it doesnt spray out like the other ones so im not sure if its even working
It it normal that when you inhalte you dont hear a sound or notice anything coming out? I tried many inhalers but this one doesnt give any sign that you inhaled correclty, no sound, no click, no taste, no nothing
@@Island2DaBay I dont know wether it might be true for you, but after 4 years taking asthma sprayers I was diagnosed with silent reflux. I never had real asthma, it was acid that shoot in my throat and caused everything to tighten up to prevent the acid from entering my mouth. Know I changed my diet and drank baking soda to fight the acid, I almost got rid of all the sprayers. Maybe you might be suffering from reflux also.
I HATE not having a plunger/hearing the medicine dispense (like on a regular rescue inhaler). I never know if I'm getting anything. Why they designed it to where it's unmetered doses is beyond me. They could have even put the dry powder in front of a gas charge (even if it does nothing for the medicine) just so that the user is ensured of the dose. Very poor design for such an expensive medicine.
I'm taking this med for the first time, and this instructional video was very helpful. Thank you!
I am glad I found this video , I won’t need to call the pharmacy for further instruction . On a video it’s easyer than on the phone . Thank you .
Is working well. Is it controlling the symptoms for you. My 2 kids just started using it today. I don’t know how it will go.
Thank You so much, I hope they keep this video on youtube for as long as they are prescribing this inhaler. It made it so easy to use.
Super helpful! Thank you very much fro creating this video and providing very clear instructions on how to use this device. Best wishes to all!
Directions were hard to understand on the box, thanks for the video.
Right

Thanks for these succinct instructions. Most of the other videos go on and on. I guess they love the sound of their voices.
I was holding the inhaler wrong. Holding it horizontally, makes a huge difference. Thank you!
My first time too! Instructions on the box were confusing 😕 Great job illustrating the opening, closing and breathing-use technique. 👍
Thank you. Even these years later this video is being helpful.
I was very nervous to do this for my first time, but your vídeo was very clear and I did it with more confidence . Thank you very much.

My father is using this med and he watched this video too and he's so greatful.

Advair definitely helped me with preventing recurring asthma flare ups

Hi!. How many times every day?? Thank you
Depends on your doctor's opinion. For my father doctor suggested 2 puffs with 30 seconds rest

Does the cocking handle go back all way way to the left when you close it, or do you have to close it then lock it?
Someone told me you’re supppsed to wash mouth with water after ?
Yes, to avoid thrush.
Thank you
I inhaled it and felt like a lot got on my tongue? Is that suppose to happen or did I position my tongue wrong?
No, any medication that get on your tongue doesnt make it to your lung where it can help.
I forgot to rinse my mouth after inhaling, will one time be enough to cause thrush?
No, it has to be continued use for it to affect you. I hardly ever spit it out.
thank you amy
Thank you very much 🫡
Thank u!!!!!!
very helpfull thank u
Just double checking if I read and explained the directions correctly to my mother.
Instructions unclear, Zombie apocalypse started
I want to know when the Serevent Discus will be generic- now that my insurance won't cover it.
Even the generic isn't much cheaper. I just paid $130 using Good Rx.
Went to fill Serevent, the cost was: $451.06 ridiculous
