- The June 2024 Nintendo Direct is full of "leaks", rumors, and speculation. So why don't I do a bit of my own speculating, logic don't fail me now!

I thought Twilight Princes and Wind Waker already had remasters on the switch, then I realized they were on the Wii U. Did they really come out over 10 years ago!? WTF!
Right!? It's wild that we don't have those yet
The switch 2 needs to be backwards compatible if they gonna shovel remasters like this.
According to rumors that is the plan, backwards compatibility for physical and digital. But I mean you know how rumors are, so fingers crossed.
Love the Okami pfp by the way!
Thanks for the info! Great Video!👏
Thanks for watching!
i really think we’re getting metroid prime 4 this year. it’s sort of been the zelda wii u to the switch, in that it got announced really early and has taken so long that they’re probably going to make it a launch title for the successor console too. there’s always the possibility that it just gets pushed further to the switch 2 or whatever it is, but i think being the swansong of the switch would be fitting for it.
I kind of wonder if it's going to be a cross gen release, like it'll be one of the last big titles on the switch but it'll also be a launch title on the successor
My Predictions:
- Mentions of Luigi's Mansion 2 and Nintendo World Championships since they're releasing in June and July respectively
- Wind Waker/Twilight Princess upscaled double-pack for August
- Fire Emblem: Genealogy of The Holy War remaster/remake for September
- Metroid Prime 2 & 3 double-pack remasters for October
- Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Games Paris 2024 and a Mario Party sequel for November
- Another Rare blowout for NSO, including games like DK64, Banjo-Tooie and Diddy Kong Racing
Very specific, I like it. I didn't even think about Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games I completely forgot it was an Olympics year
@@dogface701 Thank you, I didn't realize it until recently either. Typically they release Mario & Sonic games November the year before the Olympics so there's a chance we're not getting it at all, or that it releases sooner than I'm predicting, but I guess we'll see.
I'd also like to add that they'll probably mention the Donkey Kong expansion to Super Nintendo World which is finishing in 2024 for Japan and 2025 for the US. It's part of the reason why I believe they'll do DK64 and Diddy Kong Racing for NSO. I've also seen DKC: Returns suggested as a possible remaster (especially since it had a 3DS port with extra content) but I'm not sure how I feel about it personally.
Also, I've seen rumors for a new Pushmo game which seems kinda likely. Fills the requirements for a niche small e-shop game and it'd help balance out the ratio of new games vs. remasters a little bit.
Yeah I think that's a pretty concise prediction, I'm always here for more DK representation
I really hope they use the 3DS version considering that has elements from both 2 and 3.
Hopefully
How do you feel about all of the most exciting rumors being ports? I mean it’s good to have these games accessible for switch users but personally I would sell a kidney for a new 2d Zelda in the vein of links awakening/link between worlds
I guess I'm a bit indifferent at the moment only because we are at the end of the switches lifespan. I agree a new 2D Zelda would be epic, but I don't see them doing that this late into the switches life. I'm just hoping Link's Awakening sold well enough that they see that people are still interested in 2D Zelda
You still got that Kidney? Cuz it looks like you're in luck
@@dogface701 HAHAHAH for real I’m so excited about it
@@rodvx2 Same! Epic reveal for sure!!
Why can't we get ocarina 3DS port
I think that'd be great, with the N64 version being on the NSO I don't know if they'd do it but I'd love to have a remaster or an up-res version of Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask on the switch
