I think the longest playoff drought I know of was my Milwaukee Brewers 26 years from 1982 to 2008 with 7 winning seasons in that span losing 100 games once in 2003 legendary bad still have only made one world series in 1982 which was a loss to the cardinals
As much as we praise the 13 second game . It actually was the start of a downturn for the team. The following season josh and the team couldn't live up to the hype. Then the accident with damar Hamlin happened and that awful Bengals game . After that the connection between Diggs and Allen was never the same . This year has been a roller-coaster 🎢 of emotions. I think this year the less attention on the team will make them better. Because no sports analysts at the moment believes the bills will finally take down the chiefs next season
I’m not sure I’ll ever see it or not but the Buffalo sports fans are they most passionate sports fans in the country were there for so many years the bills were a non factor they deserve a championship more than anyone a bills lions Super Bowl would be amazing
Fun fact Frank Reich was fired and the Vikings beat the comeback record against the Panthers. Also at one time Frank Reich was the QB for both the NFL and NCAA football comeback records
IDK if it's actually true, but supposedly, the main reason that O.J. was not cast as the Terminator was because James Cameron didn't think anybody would buy him as a killer! Also, I remember reading a kids book about OJ back in the mid 70's t hat portrayed him as a national hero who only didn't want to go to Buffalo because of the weather.
Regardless of who you root for I don’t think there a too many people out there who wouldn’t want the Bills to win a Super Bowl. Their franchise has probably endured the most heartbreak so you’d have to be a complete hater to not want them to finally get the job done. I feel like the same also applies for the Lions too
Palpatine: "Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Buffalo the Wide Right?" Anakin: "Of course! Everyone knows about that. Buffalo came up one point short in Super Bowl XXV by missing a field goal wide right. Then they played in the next three Super Bowls but lost them all by double digits. It was heartbreaking!" Palpatine: "Good, Anakin! Did you hear they made a sequel?" Anakin: "What?!?" Palpatine: "Yes, young Skywalker! It was the second tragedy of Darth Buffalo the Wide Right. The difference was that it happened in the Divisional Round instead of the Super Bowl." Anakin: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Thats where the Debate of which 0-4 Super Bowl team is worse: Bills or Vikings? Bills win! Not just because they did in 4 years in a row, while the Vikings last 3 Super Bowls were in a 4 year span. But OJ Simpson. The Vikings have many players that have not Been Role Models, but no one looks as bad as OJ!
I went through the same experience as you becoming a bills fan. I used to be a giants fan when I was a kid and remember then beating Brady in the Super Bowl then fell out of it and wanted to get back into this year but I felt no love or connection to the giants anymore and with the bills Being thr only team that plays in my home state it felt natural and I fell in love with the team learning about the teams players coaches and history as the season progressed
💥💥Some franchise just can't catch a break the bills the Bangles, lions, browns. Think about this if you're a Bangles fan the Bengals have lost three Super bowls by a combined 12 points. Cincinnati don't lose Super bowls by big margins.
Yeah, I use to live on the Buffalo Bill's pain during those 4 super bowls loses, watching Allen (want to be goat turned little lamb) today getting his butt kicked in the playoffs back-to-back brings back the good old days of pain in Buffalo,' looking forward to the future torments to come, all hail to the Chiefs.
As a Bills fan we love our team win or lose. Of course a title would be amazing, but there is no way we would love them anymore if they won it all. I think next year I will take anyone winning the SB before the Chiefs.
If kelce is still dating swift and doing certain advertisements, I wouldn't count on it. Remember that ravens game pi by chiefs no call ? Kinda like saints rams game a few years ago. The whole world saw it but the refs on the field.
Their name always bothered me. There is no such thing as a bill. And they have a Buffalo on their helmets. I get it, they can't be called the Buffalo buffaloes. But they stick a Buffalo on their helmet and call themselves the bills? I know what it's supposed to mean and where they got their name from and all of that, but don't put a buffalo on your logo. Put a friggin frontiersman on there, a cowboy or anything even slightly resembling Buffalo Bill.
You can always tell a non-native Bills fan by how they root for the team... natives say "Go Bills!" and the only appropriate response back is "Go Bills!" But welcome to the Mafia. We welcome all!
This was absolutely brilliant. How we elevate sports so it becomes a thing we gather around in groups feeling like we're part of something larger is something that upsets people when I tell them that this is how religion(s) started. But it's obvious, no?
You have stop trying to pin this on Tyler Bass. There was a minute 43 left and no possible way Mahomes doesn’t eat up clock and get the game winning field goal drive
And I'm sick of people saying Mahomes would have done it. In the 8 games they've played, Mahomes only did it twice and the 13 sec game was an all-time bone head defensive play calls to even allow it! Zac Wilson could have done that! Outside that missed FG, last 2 games Mahomes got picked off to end the game so NO!
@ playoffs are not the regular season and I think you know that. I think you also know that palling for a field goal with a minute 45 left is different than playing for two scores in a meaningless regular season game. Buffalo can hang regular season banners, everyone who knows football knows it wasn’t Bass’s fault. Allen had three chances to score or get closer too. And everyone who has watched the game the last 7 years has about a 97% certainty that KC just marches down and kicks the game winner anyway.
@williamallen7984 Again, like I said, 2 of the last 3 matches Mahomes did NOT just march down the field. The 13 secs game, ANY QB could have gotten into FG range with the defense Buffalo played. And the last 2 regular season games ended with a Mahomes INT. SO NO! there's a 33% chance Mahomes goes down the field and a 66% he's picked off based in actual facts!
@@williamallen7984Actually, here are the real probabilities. 25% chance KC wins by 2+ scores, 25% Buffalo does. 25% ends in a Mahomes INT, 12% chance Mahomes last drive for the win, 12% Buffalo misses tying/winning fg.
Please God let the Bills go 13-4 in the 2024 NFL season and go to Suoer Bowl 59 and win it.Please the Bills fans,me,and Josh Allen are on our last leg.If the Bills don't go and win Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans,La we are going to get killed 😂😂 I'm just kidding but please make the Bills a NFL champion

The same way people can divorce their wives or divorce their husbands and then get a new husband or wife. Is the same way people can leave their team and find a new one. It's not that hard to understand.

It wasn't until later that same year that my grandfather got me interested in college football, which gradually led to interest in pro football and other sports.
wait, is there an OJ Simpson curse on the Bills?
I think the longest playoff drought I know of was my Milwaukee Brewers 26 years from 1982 to 2008 with 7 winning seasons in that span losing 100 games once in 2003 legendary bad still have only made one world series in 1982 which was a loss to the cardinals
That bitterness eats a ball club up. It gets in their head.
Fun fact: OJ Simpson has more murder victims (2) than he has career wins against the Miami Dolphins (1). OJ was 1-15 against Miami. Fins Up!
MASTERPIECE
As a buffalo bills fan since 1974 I will happily take anybody sympathy
Thanks to remind me the force awakens trailer
Thanks Buffalo for crying enough to get that rule change 😀😆
Your team proposed it first after you lost to New England
The Nanaland reference completely took me out from left field lmao
As much as we praise the 13 second game . It actually was the start of a downturn for the team. The following season josh and the team couldn't live up to the hype. Then the accident with damar Hamlin happened and that awful Bengals game . After that the connection between Diggs and Allen was never the same . This year has been a roller-coaster 🎢 of emotions. I think this year the less attention on the team will make them better. Because no sports analysts at the moment believes the bills will finally take down the chiefs next season
This was amazing but what we really need to do to finally break through and win it al, is to sacrifice anything and everything to the pit
GO BILLS BABY
Not only was Derek Anderson 2-17 but he was pictured wearing his Bills uniform.
Anderson is a top 3 browns qb of all time . Don't try to diminish his accomplishments in cleveland
They are what they are
Before even watching, I notice that the thumbnail for the video mirrors the Mets and Dodgers videos
Longtime fan right there. Thanks for sticking with us! 🙏
Regardless of who you root for I don’t think there a too many people out there who wouldn’t want the Bills to win a Super Bowl. Their franchise has probably endured the most heartbreak so you’d have to be a complete hater to not want them to finally get the job done. I feel like the same also applies for the Lions too
The Bills are the Mariners of NFL
Palpatine: "Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Buffalo the Wide Right?"
Anakin: "Of course! Everyone knows about that. Buffalo came up one point short in Super Bowl XXV by missing a field goal wide right. Then they played in the next three Super Bowls but lost them all by double digits. It was heartbreaking!"
Palpatine: "Good, Anakin! Did you hear they made a sequel?"
Anakin: "What?!?"
Palpatine: "Yes, young Skywalker! It was the second tragedy of Darth Buffalo the Wide Right. The difference was that it happened in the Divisional Round instead of the Super Bowl."
Anakin: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Born and raised here in Buffalo. welcome to the "family"
Only way out now is in a box :)
Nice.
Josh Allen is a superhero
Shake it off by Taylor Swift is playing in the background at 13:00.
Surprised you didn’t mentions one of OJs lawyer. He was pretty famous but his daughters went in to be mega stars lol
Chiefs fan here for the tears.
That said, good vid… and OJ is clearly the greatest BB of all time. Likely top 3 RB of all time.
Cheers
The chiefs knocked buffalo out of the playoffs and went on to appear in the first Super Bowl. This goes back decades
Go bills
Wide right sorry guys
Who's your team?
Mahomes is single handedly going to ruin Jackson's, Allen's, and Burrow's careers. The 3 of them will never win anything with Mahomes in the AFC
I feel bad
Did you use VLC media pro to get your footage? It looks interlaced instead of progressive
Chiefs Dynasty
As a Bills fan we love our team win or lose. Of course a title would be amazing, but there is no way we would love them anymore if they won it all. I think next year I will take anyone winning the SB before the Chiefs.
If kelce is still dating swift and doing certain advertisements, I wouldn't count on it. Remember that ravens game pi by chiefs no call ? Kinda like saints rams game a few years ago. The whole world saw it but the refs on the field.
Maybe. Possible scripting.
I SEE A BANDWAGONER
True, lots of chiefs fans were pats fans 5 years ago
Belichick owned the bills with the giants and patriots… kinda crazy
Cool video
.
Go Chiefs 😁
And before I get the "bandwagon" thing AGAIN, I've been a Chiefs fan since they moved to Kansas City MISSOURI in 1963
The bills are the Tottenham Hotspur of NFL, typical I support them both💀
"Tragic Hero"
Other AFC East teams 😂😂😂
Their name always bothered me. There is no such thing as a bill. And they have a Buffalo on their helmets. I get it, they can't be called the Buffalo buffaloes. But they stick a Buffalo on their helmet and call themselves the bills? I know what it's supposed to mean and where they got their name from and all of that, but don't put a buffalo on your logo. Put a friggin frontiersman on there, a cowboy or anything even slightly resembling Buffalo Bill.
Welcome to the mafia
I clicked like on the video because it was well put together and I LOVE being reminded of the Bills misery. Best In League Losing Superbowls!!!
Ayy
You can always tell a non-native Bills fan by how they root for the team... natives say "Go Bills!" and the only appropriate response back is "Go Bills!" But welcome to the Mafia. We welcome all!
This was absolutely brilliant. How we elevate sports so it becomes a thing we gather around in groups feeling like we're part of something larger is something that upsets people when I tell them that this is how religion(s) started. But it's obvious, no?
Nobody will get 2000 yds in 14 games ever again
You have stop trying to pin this on Tyler Bass. There was a minute 43 left and no possible way Mahomes doesn’t eat up clock and get the game winning field goal drive
He's only 25 years old he's not that knowledgeable about football so of course he just blames it on a kicker.
Lmao you do know most people hate the bills right. They were never hereos they had a chance to “save” us from taylor and the chiefs but never were they once considered heroes 😂😂
Chiefs and Bengals own them😂
LMFAO bro joined the wrong bandwagon. Should’ve been a Dolphin fan 🐬
The team with the longest playoff win drought in the league? Doesn't sound fun
I never understand how people can "change" their favorite team🤔 I couldn't imagine calling some other team my favorite. Seems convenient I suppose😂
The same way people can divorce their wives or divorce their husbands and then get a new husband or wife. Is the same way people can leave their team and find a new one.
It's not that hard to understand.
@@pp3k3jamail so just switch your team every year then🙄 whoever wins the championship is my new favorite team🤣 lame af
As a Jacksonville Jaguars fan I can relate to some of this.
The Bills beat the Chiefs in one of those 4 championship games. The Chiefs gave them a chance to finally get a Superbowl win, but the Bills decided to lose to the Cowboys...again.
