Can You Add a Grom Instrument Cluster to a CRF450RL in a Direct Swap?

The internet showed us that the plug for the CRF450L dash is the same plug as the Grom, CRF250L, CBR300R, CBR500R, CB300F, CB500F, the list goes on! But, is it a plug and play swap? After seeing the question come up on thumper talk I decided to see if my Honda Grom's dashboard would light up when plugged into the CRF.

If you can find the correct male/female connectors and pins, you could make a short jumper that rearranges those wires between the dash and plug without messing up the originals.
