Just some of the many reasons why being addicting to social media prohibits you from living your life.
The Goals of Lime and Bones Challenge:
1) To live intentionally instead of being constantly braindead from scrolling Tiktok and Instagram. What would I do if I couldn't result to scrolling when I am bored, stressed, etc. ? This will force me to discover the answer.
2) To live without regret; I am approaching my 20th birthday and feel as if I have been going through the motions for some years now. This challenge will force me to seize the day, as I have always aspired to do.
3) To escape addiction from my iphone, nicotine, etc. I want my day to consist of waking up early, reading books that will make me smart, reading the bible, meditating, eating healthy, going to the gym, doing well in school, and working on side projects.
4) To find out if the youtube algorithm truly rewards those for uploading every day, and discovering whether this challenge is sustainable in terms of time management/idea generation.
5) To inspire others. I am an observant person and feel like many people my age are also struggling with similar things like addiction, lack of purpose, and struggling to change. Though this idea is just a dream, but I hope the world can resort back (within reason) to a reality where people aren't disturbingly consumed by media.
