I grew up in MPLS,witnessed its downfall, all do to somalian refugees, nothing racist about it,the black population was happy in twin cities until u add 250k others identifying themselves as African American American . These two groups have melted together thru child birth and natural communal living, but are also still divided with hate as well. Instead of adapting to Minnesota, they made mpls adapt to them. Changing it forever, then ilhan Omar...they got representation before American.blacks here did The real "hoods" , actually dangerous places in mn are way west. Lawless and cartel ran
Exactly👍🏻 When the Somalis took over cedar riverside and then over crowded it, the state of MN started giving out, and still do, endless types of housing subsidies to them. They have moved into the suburbs living in $1,500 plus per month townhomes and newly built houses. This group, of people live better than the average working class of Minnesotans. Heck, our US veterans and MN tax payers don't get freebies like this. WTH?
I used to live in Minnesota. Because of a joke of a mayor and Tampon Tim, Minnesota and Minneapolis are going down hill fast. I see why people are leaving Minnesota and Minneapolis to other states.
I live in the twin cities. Minneapolis used to be a great city. It's trashed now. Elections have consequences. The residents of Minneapolis got exactly what they voted for.
Since Dumbmocrats Mayor Frey and all the new city council got voted in they turned Minneapolis to this it used to be nice and safe North Minneapolis is the worst in my opinion
Hard to feel bad for people that choose to live like that because drugs are more important that clean shelters or housing where they cant allow them to use and live there
Being from the area I know it won't change under the current mayor, city council, governor. Sadly far more liberal democrats will get elected, it's been going that way for about 10-12yrs. People keep voting for activists instead of people that know how to solve problems.
There's plenty of open wooded areas in cites and counties like Woodbury, Anoka county, Burnsville, Minnetonka and much more for these people to pitch a tent. Minnesota is full of lakes, rivers and tons of wooded forest areas. Theses people can form their own communities in these areas. It's much safer to live there than on side walks, in over crowded encampments that are full of drug addicts and criminals.
St. Paul is having a problem of encampments escalating in certain neighborhoods. The tents are being put up near railroad lines, the river areas, walking trails in downtown areas where there's big areas of grass. The majority of people in these camps just want to stay high, drink, and not actively look for work and change their lifestyles. It's a growing problem.
I fucking hate it here. I wanna go back home to South Minn. this is an epidemic. None of the rest of “beautiful MN” means shit because of this. Everyone in these comments are so on point.
Does this comment section not know what redlining did to the twin cities, what are these people talking about with "this is cause walz" did walz build a freeway directly through the city?
im really curious what "a north part" of mpls is. theres over north and over south. and where u live is a lot more dangerous than downtown unless youre just a liar
My family had a business downtown Mpls since 1905. Unfortunately due to the crime, we sold the business about 5 years ago. Over half of down mpls businesses have either moved, or went out of business, just in the last five years. Thugs run the city now and the politicians have allowed this to happen.
Im just scared of it becoming another deal like Kensington or Seattle. The drugs and human trafficking is unreal as well. So sad. I live on the iron range and Virginia, MN is like Zombieland besides the heavy traffic of hard working tax payers and people from the cities coming up here to get away from Little Muslim and Little Somolia
You should go and see the areas around the airports. See how the Somalia and Muslim drivers have shutout all of the other taxi services. They claim that they can't get a decent chance. They sit in their taxies and stand over your car like you are in their spaces.
“The hood” proceeds to show the lease active parts of Minneapolis. All you shown was regular city streets and homeless encampments . Why don’t you go to the parts where crime is actually rampant and show the people how active it really is out there in MPLS.
People don't know what a hood is until they traveled out of state. North Mpls is candyland compared to other cities. Camden, East St. Loius, Gary, Detroit, parts of Philidelphia.
Thanks to a Republican (namely Ronald Reagan), there's more homelessness (because he cut social welfare programs and shut down mental institutions) and a disappearing middle class (the wealth didn't trickle down like he said it would). 🫠
I don't understand what people are upset about. We saw some homeless living under a bridge and next to a road, and a tent city. In Minneapolis the homeless are offered a place to stay, many choose not to accept that which is their right. You drove through George Floyd Square which is meant to honor George. Most of the roads were clean and most yards are mowed. What is so wrong?
The graffiti and tents are the problem. What are they doing for those people who are in those tents? I am sure those people are very cold in the winter time. I have been in Minnesota when it was -20 below zero, and it was very cold. The people need to stop voting for these politicians who allow this to happen.

I've lived in Minneapolis and worked there for many years, it's such a beautiful city, it's really not as bad as people make it out to be. Is there crime? Yes. Is it the worst in the country? No. I'm in the "worst/ghetto" neighborhoods 40+ hours a week and have never had issues. People never leave their home and actually go talk to people and form their own opinions. Go to North Minneapolis and go on a run and say hi to the locals and you'll realize it's not what most people think. A lot of the people are mentally ill and addicted to opiods but the city is beautiful and thriving. North loop, Northeast, Downtown East, Downtown West, Lake of the Isles, Uptown are all thriving and continuing to grow.
What ghetto neighborhoods you referring to? I live by Chicago and Franklin. Come hang out here for a while. And Uptown isn't thriving. Ever since the riots, businesses there have been having a hell of a time. Now there's the construction too, making it even more difficult for them.

Minneapolis way worse than LA and San Fran , Minneapolis homicide rate is 23 homicides per hundred thousand residents LA is 3.7 and san fran is 2.3 per hundred thousand residents 😂
How long have you lived here?
I’ve lived here my whole life south side and north side want see tour I’ll do tour on my page and really show what’s going on because I can be in mpls and St. Paul and show u the real deal this just sample but drugs and shootings are horrible here
Moved about 20 years ago to Montana. I’m sad to see my city, and state like this. I no longer call it mine.
don't worry, the state is fine, only the big cities are descending the way they are.
Moving to Montana in 2 years, can’t wait to get out of this shit hole
Minneapolis has turned into LA’s skid row
"South Minneapolis" you mean an St Paul
Some Minneapolis hoods have always been skid rowish.
Hell NO!! We are NOWHERE near that place!!! how much trash do you see in our streets, start there?
George floyd square what a joke.
👍🏻💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It's messed up for home owners, and small businesses. The city council it scared sh!tless to do anything in this area. It's run by gangs and is a high drug trafficking area now.
City2CityUSA you really cruise the right way, real slow so we can see, no talking, no music. I just saw your channel moments ago, and subscribed. Nice work!💯👊😎
It’s a dump in the metro and first tier suburbs are absorbing this garbage too. It’s only a matter of time before the garbage spills into second and third tier suburbs (if not already there).
Now make him the VP so he can do this on a national scale.
Didn't happen hell ya merica
Fentamapolis,thank for the help Tim
You know they have these encampments in red states like Mississippi too. Actually they're more prevalent there. You gonna blame Walz for those too?
But yet everyone suddenly praised him when he got weed legalized, everyone sure AF liked him, for that!
@@Mellieno, they’re not more prevalent there. Go to LA, SF, Seattle, Portland, etc. ALL those places, and more, and led by Leftist scum.
Finally somebody goes to the south side the hoods on the Southside have old roots
Changing it forever, then ilhan Omar...they got representation before American.blacks here did
The real "hoods" , actually dangerous places in mn are way west. Lawless and cartel ran
Exactly👍🏻
When the Somalis took over cedar riverside and then over crowded it, the state of MN started giving out, and still do, endless types of housing subsidies to them. They have moved into the suburbs living in $1,500 plus per month townhomes and newly built houses. This group, of people live better than the average working class of Minnesotans. Heck, our US veterans and MN tax payers don't get freebies like this. WTH?
@@tennamurfett7158 I hear ya. Then every other group has done fairly good. Northeast got bought and cleaned up to an extent. People were proud

That's true. It's never safe to walk alone or at night, especially when it's getting dark.
I used to live in Minnesota. Because of a joke of a mayor and Tampon Tim, Minnesota and Minneapolis are going down hill fast. I see why people are leaving Minnesota and Minneapolis to other states.
Democrats are always something that is beautiful and turns it into trash!!!

Fix it vote all Dems and their pet rinos out.
Why don't the democrats that live there take those people into their homes? They could be an example instead of just virtue signal all day!
Imagine putting statues for a drug addict
St Paul is no better off either folks 😮
No better off how? You scared of melanin?
That's right. My truck's catalytic converter got stolen in St. Paul on a day time. Not a good place either.
No.
@@beelee9840the fact that we have to get tags for them is awful.
Live in a north part of Minneapolis , most of us never go into the downtown or inner parts unless you have to.
Yeah, who would wnt to, with the constant construction and depressing AF stores.. what few there are, that is
im really curious what "a north part" of mpls is. theres over north and over south. and where u live is a lot more dangerous than downtown unless youre just a liar
Yeah because the constant construction am I rrght?
Plus it depresses those of us that knew what downtown used to be and how shit it is now
My family had a business downtown Mpls since 1905. Unfortunately due to the crime, we sold the business about 5 years ago. Over half of down mpls businesses have either moved, or went out of business, just in the last five years. Thugs run the city now and the politicians have allowed this to happen.
Minnesota has voted democratic far to long,,why? Please wise up people!
The only good.
Thing about this video is you can't smell it
the start of your video is my scooter ride to work. i can take either cedar or franlkin. both directions have been overrun with homeless lol.
I have a choice to go or not go. The people who can’t move have no choice.
no pride or consequences for actions.
Welcome to the Demmokkkrat world.

This is a homelessness and drug problem, which has plagued the entire country.
At least winter cleans out a bunch of these campers.
It's only going to get worse....
Tim Walz and DFL policies did this.
Bologna.
@NSB2 Is that what your brain is made of? Nobody cares.
This time of year, the urine has a faint pumpkin spice odor to it

Im just scared of it becoming another deal like Kensington or Seattle. The drugs and human trafficking is unreal as well. So sad. I live on the iron range and Virginia, MN is like Zombieland besides the heavy traffic of hard working tax payers and people from the cities coming up here to get away from Little Muslim and Little Somolia
I live in Minnesota!! Trump 2024🇺🇸🇺🇸. Minnesota has gone to hell !!! Thanks to Walz!!!🤬
You should go and see the areas around the airports. See how the Somalia and Muslim drivers have shutout all of the other taxi services. They claim that they can't get a decent chance. They sit in their taxies and stand over your car like you are in their spaces.
Heavy alcoholics too. I used to work in a liquor store, all the time getting the airplane bottles.
“The hood” proceeds to show the lease active parts of Minneapolis. All you shown was regular city streets and homeless encampments . Why don’t you go to the parts where crime is actually rampant and show the people how active it really is out there in MPLS.
What parts are active in the twin cities?
People don't know what a hood is until they traveled out of state. North Mpls is candyland compared to other cities. Camden, East St. Loius, Gary, Detroit, parts of Philidelphia.
Thank a democrat
are you saying there's no homelessness in Republican run cities?
Yep. Thank a democrat for a mostly beautiful city with a declining crime rate and declining homeless population.
@@Mellie you’re delusional
Thanks to a Republican (namely Ronald Reagan), there's more homelessness (because he cut social welfare programs and shut down mental institutions) and a disappearing middle class (the wealth didn't trickle down like he said it would). 🫠
People making bad decisions. Not just the leadership.
The guy throwing objects in the parking lot was like an NPC.
Very sad and disgusting! Mpls was once a beautiful city, not anymore!😢
Our state needs to do better
I don't understand what people are upset about. We saw some homeless living under a bridge and next to a road, and a tent city. In Minneapolis the homeless are offered a place to stay, many choose not to accept that which is their right. You drove through George Floyd Square which is meant to honor George. Most of the roads were clean and most yards are mowed. What is so wrong?
i agree with you. i love the twin cities, homeless population and all!
The graffiti and tents are the problem. What are they doing for those people who are in those tents? I am sure those people are very cold in the winter time. I have been in Minnesota when it was -20 below zero, and it was very cold. The people need to stop voting for these politicians who allow this to happen.
@@ericknoblauch9195 graffiti=street art. it’s not a burden to the city, it’s an addition.

So that's because the Southside is so much bigger too. But that's where all the homeless is at and all the druggers
Northside is shitty for different reasons. Parts of South look far worse though because of the surge in the happy happy joy joy funtime healing fentanyl encampments.
Exactly, even in this video, the only bad-looking areas were where the homeless were.
It was better before
