The falling object sounds (and not only them) reminds me of bootleg Contra III Alien Wars for NES. Even the graphics and music seems to be ripped out of it :) Also, why skeletons and bats appear in level with insects :)
boss differences: Pete (steamboat): takes 12 hits instead of 4, spawns directly instead of the boxes instead of having to walk toward them Cranes: all four gears take five hits instead of the top ones taking only 3, and the boss can no longer be cheesed Captain Pete: both phases are combined somehow (the ball is smaller and is not required to hit Pete, the switches are to take the spikes down and _that's_ what's needed to hit Pete), boss takes only six hits, and the fight can be kinda cheesed due to Pete's hitbox concerning getting damaged by the spikes
Some bootlegs are really impressive.
Good work 'Miki'. You defeat Buttle.
Argeed
Super excited for this one, been meaning to run it for a while, it's great to know what are the best strats possible! Nice work XTREMAL93!
Dispite it being a bootleg, it does pull off some impressive technical tricks for the NES.
6:21 they really did it
For what it is, it's a great port of Mickey Mania
Ah yes~ Fat Goo Goo the legendary video game director~
Don't you forget about Copyright Yang and his brother Little Fat Yang, along with Big Henry
The final boss is named Dong
There's something oddly sinister about bootleg NES sound effects.
Wait what? There was a Mickey Mania for NES? Never knew.
Edit: nvm it's a bootleg.
Mickey Mania 7
I was wondering the same thing! Still one of my favorite snes games.
Yeah when I saw the video I had no idea that there was a bootleg Mickey Mania.
Super Sonic Wave so someone actually made this after the original? But why though.
These bootlegs were produced in countries where next gen consoles weren't widely available yet, like in China and the USSR.

awesome port
Not sure if it's because of the tas, but this port looks actually good for a bootleg
And sounds good too for bootleg standards! Except for the final boss.
Surprised how well the large sprites transitioned on the NES.
"Little Fat Yang"
"Big Henry"
Fat goo goo
