Good luck with that. They're not cheap and owning one is difficult. You need to either find someone who owns one and is willing to sell it, or go search the old gold fields to see if there is a stranded one. Then you'd need permission from the property owner or the government to get it. Then you'd need to repair it and either run it where it stands, or disassemble it and ship it somewhere where there is virgin ground. It's not an easy task getting a dredge. They are few and far in between and highly sought after. And also $$.

You can use what I call a sucker dredge that is no more than a hand pump with one hose on a Tee with baffels in the bottom to suck meteral in and push it out to a bucket or small sluce in a pond that dont lead back to the tributary. Or 2 " sluce in a pond . They think it will Rune the fish bedding little to the know that trout like clean bedding for nesting laying eggs .
