i love outdoor videos that didnt have any music whatso ever, as natural outdoor sound are good enough & giving real vibe. if i wanna listen any music, i choose it myself~
I dregged for 40 years and I know that all the large stones that build up in the dredge cause you to loose gold. You need a partner to constantly clear the large rocks from the dredge sluice. The fine gold gets washed away with too many large rocks in that sluice. Also you need to clear those flat slate type rocks from the water relief flanges on the end of your suction nozzle. They limit your flow and can cause rocks to get stuck in your nozzle.
@@fishingvr4520 If a filter or grate extends far enough from the opening the delta-p will be low enough that it can't pick up those rocks in the first place.
When everyone keeps telling you that you are panning too aggressively, then maybe they might be saying some truth? But hey, stubbornness gets the best of us.
Hello. I personally like the project very much. The only thing that in my case would put a cross of thick sheet metal like the tube at the tip of the aspirated tube, which had a point facing outwards about 3 cmm. So that the big stones that enter DO NOT DAMAGE THE MACHINE. only that. but the system is very good. regards
Nice man, Don't listen to those guys who take 20 minutes to do a single pan of dirt, You aren't even panning as aggressively as you could without losing any gold. And I don't care about their opinions either. The only time you have to go slower is when your entire pan is black sand cons, That makes it slightly more difficult.
Kyle, Oregon Gold panner here...you should weld a ubolt or a muffler clamp or something on the end of your Nozzle...will help keep out the huge rocks that can be real annoying....love your Video's brother...have been thinking hard of moving back to Kansas city area.....friends and family in midwest...
@KYLE fab a 3 prong crow foot of put over the end of your dredge it would help you alot. Take a look a the end of a keen dredge I believe they all have one on the intake nozzle.
Not enough fines, dream mat is just no good in a dredge. It’s been tested over and over the vortices break to easily with unclassified materials running over the top. I’m experimenting with drilling out the dream mat wells and sitting it over moss to minimise loss rate, but I think your losing a lot of gold.

I work something similar, usually bigger though, but there's throttle control for when a rock goes up and gets stuck either at the nozzle or between the housing and impeller
So satisfying to see all that deep sediment by the bedrock get sucked up. You just know you're in the good stuff when you're finding pockets between the bedrock. What a spot, and what a machine!
The X is too much. All you need is a half inch bar across the front that only protrudes out 1-1.5 inches from the center end, as an arch. Decreases the size of the objects by half but doesn't restrict intake amount
Have you had other dredges in the past an why have you went with a proline dredge ? I'm in Indiana an bout to buy me a dredge an was looking for others inputs on different setup's. Nice video's also. An gear

My whole family was on vacation down there one year and I didn't know what the hell I was looking for, it was free at the time, but it takes someone with a little geology experience I think. I'm sure there's gold there as well, Arkansas has a lot of geology and it's beautiful.

Doing so defeats the purpose of using a larger dredge. The more rocks you gotta throw by hand the less material you can move. You want to suck up every rock you can without getting a clog in the hose.
@@howtoguroo2686 I can generally run all day and not get a clog in the hose or the jet. It takes experience to know what should and shouldnt go up the nozzle, once you have that down it you can move far far more material then if you had a screen across the nozzle. Watch any videos of experienced dredgers and you will never see screens or bars across their nozzles.
Hes losing a fuckload of gold. The question is, is it better to be thorough or fast? Which method will net the most efficiency. Despite him doing an incredibly sloppy job and tossing a fuckload of gold back into the river, hes probably netting more gold by going fast.

Can make your machine a bit longer and place a fine mat near the end, there is probably fine gold getting washed out because of the water power just a thought 😁👍

To prevent extra work you need steel net in front of the hydro pipe, to not let in the rocks.
