I have some in a pot. Is this a sustainable spot for them, or do I need to transplant them into the ground? Only one out of my 5 is blooming this year. Thank you for the helpful video!
Bearded iris can be grown in pots as long as the pots are big enough. You probably want at least a 12 inch pot for bearded iris. Wider and shallower pots are better than deep narrow pots.

Try to leave as many as you can. They'll send out new roots, so don't worry if you remove some.
