While its not wrong to be in a relationship, one needs to have the maturity to understand the genuineness of the same.
Though I may sound old fashioned my mom taught me that its ok to be friends with all, however keep everyone at arms length..
Today being a mother to a teenager I can relate to this story.. its the worst dream come true for any parent and any young girl.
White being pregnant out if wedlock is acceptable in some cultures, its definitely a stigma in our society.
Our mindsets have not reached that level.
Hence its the need of the hour to educate our younger generation,both boys n girls about the perils of such relationships.

I am proud of india because my country has kept this basic right of women lawful and safe unlike so many states in the United States. Although I don’t advocate pregnancy before marriage, this video is spreading misinformation. In India, any woman above the age of 18 who’s mentally stable can terminate her pregnancy( through medicines,consult a gynaecologist ) within 9 weeks or opt for abortion if she find outs after 9 weeks. Since she is legally an adult, she does not need her parent/guardian for the abortion. So in this video, she could have terminated her pregnancy even if her parents did not support her since she found out within 6 weeks.

Before I got pregnant with my son, I was pro abortion, pro choice and all that. But pregnancy changed me. What I've seen and felt and gone through from the time he was the size of a jelly bean, to this day when he's jumping up and down on the sofa, completely transformed my thoughts on abortion. It is horrible and should be done only for medical emergencies.
What women need is proper awareness on contraceptive methods, taking control of their own body and being aware of the greater responsibilities they have as far as human beings are concerned. Their ability to bring about a new life shouldn't be a cause for society to draw lines around them. Women are only human, they are sexual beings as well. And proper counseling should be given to those boyfriends and parents who become completely inhumane when the time comes around. That should be the focus. Rather than fear mongering and scaring women into the old "leaf and thorn" analogy.
Many of our movies have dealt with this beautifully. Notebook, Kya Kehna, Zachariyayude garbhinikal.. out of this Kya Kehna came out before I was born.
