Nice tip on the jet mick
I have a lawn mower with a Briggs and Stratton flower head
Kev in Ireland another good video Mick good Livestream last Saturday looking forward to next one
Good job mate and don't feel bad about comments on not oiling the foam air filters at Eliminator we never do it also and no issues mate. Whenever we get a unit back for oil change, blade sharpen etc. and our foam filter unoiled is in there easy peasy water and dishsoap clean and reinstall. When they are oiled it is a messy job to try and clean we just install a new one not oiled. Never an issue, the only issue with these is grass and debris inside the fuel tank on EVERY ONE that comes in for service.
Good job Mick
Mick you look like Vin diesel from the film Pitch Black in those goggles! Great Video as always
Lol thanks
Tidy job Mick. Runs a treat. Catch you in the next one buddy

Super job Mick. You got to love those B&S flatheads - so simple and well made
A cracking engine
I just found out that WD 40 has WD 40 specialist choke and carb cleaner what is your thoughts on this matter of WD 40 specialist choke and carb cleaner thanks mate
I would stay using the normal one for all rubber rings and gaskets
@@themowerman thanks for your help with this matter young man 😎👍 I'll do that to clean up the cards on two of my machine,s one which is a Kohler 13 ho over head vavle the other one is a industrial Plus 8 hp Briggs and stratton flat head on a Troy bulit tiller
Awesome 👍
Another case of a new diaphragm and gasket set

Amazing what a quick clean will do, though beyond most peoples knowledge. I agree that OEM parts are the only way to go. Another machine ready for sale. Stevo
Another Great Job Mick, Keep Up The Good Work .Simple Fix. The Better They Look The Better They Sell. All My Stuff Gets The Royal Treatment (Cleaning ) It Doesn't Take Much Effort To Look After Them

Your welcome
Nice fix.
oil your filter bang bang
lol
I like it how you give best methods if you wanna save a penny or two aswell as doing it the proper way, good video Mick.
Great job mate getting that classic engine running those are such simple engines it's a shame the fiddle fairies were in there 🧚♂️
Hi.. Great video well done ✔️
No worries.. and thanks
Hi Mick, have you any idea why the later carburetas wont eject fuel from the Primer, do the later carbs have a different internal layout, my carb & tank were lost in a house move after taking them off because the removal company stated they wont store inflamable liquids,it is a 35 classic mower but after trying 3 different carbs & gaskets the primer never works but it will run for a few seconds with easy start added.
Sounds like the carb is now not working (sucking fuel) I would recommend a new carb.. only buy a genuine one.. around£20.. that should fix the problem
@@themowerman I have tried 3 I was wondering if they have changed the internal layout that is not matching the gaskets thanks.
@@texhow1 emaile some photos mate micksmowers01@gmail.com
Nice fix Mick everyone says UV all seen a carb clean but there are always the new guys girls watching so nice and informative
Well done Mick, nice and easy turn around 👍
Nice one Mick - classic engine - will run forever. Cheers mate!
Yes they will mate
Well done mate.
Just a couple of rules that I personally go by are screws holding plastic do up until you feel resistance then 1/4 turn no more, plastic, rubber and carb diaphragms use only GT85 or WD40 or whatever your preference to clean NEVER carb spray as it deteriorates them causing them to become brittle.
That "O" ring between the carb and intake manifold can over time wear out and is a major cause of surging on the Briggs, pay close attention to it as you've already got the carb off and if it shows signs of any flat spots, hardening or tiny tears replace it.
Thanks for the information mate
Just watching this video and chuckling at you saying your doing this with one hand. Haha.
Mick, I’ve just took to messing with mowers and stuff in my retirement and only having one are, I think I understand you more than others.
Your teaching me though Mick. PS There’s no arm in it. Xx
You can do it!
