- Replacing evap control and canister. Sorry, I didn't get a chance to record of the rear splash guard removal.
Thanks so much for posting it! I tried today but I failed on the bolt that is impossible to reach (2:15 in your video) will try again another day with the proper tools. I spent over an hour trying to get it out and it just wouldn’t work for me. But now that I watched the video I see the tool that you’re using.

Once you get those hoses off is that the only thing holding the canister in place? Besides the bolts you took?

Yes you can, if you're confident not to check for voltage run through.

@@dope1808 because I'm having issues with my canister also with my exhaust being in the way. I've noticed some g35s have it literally right in the middle where the stock muffler goes and that's where mine was and because of my custom exhaust I had to remove it. And I've seen some like this one where it's mounted on the side and I'm gonna try to put it back to the side to see if it fixes my problem.
@@Luck2Skill Sorry I have to admit: I did this for TH-cam, experimental, reference footage, & personal documentation. Error came back few days later. This issue didn't went away til just last year were I replaced my y-pipe gaskets and since then, no error codes. My g computer ran clean til this day. So check and replace all your exhaust gaskets, you may have just a gasket leak like me. Good luck.

What would be symptoms of this part needing replacement?
Just an engine light telling you to care for your environment in my opinion. Lol
Mine was actually causing my engine to misfire.

Was it hard for you to put the valve back on. I can't get it back it with the gasket on. If i take off the gasket it locks in fine.
The gasket seals the valve.
Im having issues with removing the electrical connectors. Does it have a pin i should push in order to get it out?
Alberto Ochoa yep, if i remember it is just like any other connectors similar under the seats or oxygen semsors...
Alberto Ochoa if visibility is bad, just feel any release tabs around it.
You can’t remove the vent valve without removing the the whole canister?
I believed there was subframe walls and other large fuel lines were blocking it.
Herb Sales I think my damn canister is stuck or did I miss a bolt or something? How did you take the canister out so easily?
@@RzVids there is 3 to 4. 10mm bolts, especially check behind exhaust hanger and opposite side by the outer bumper area...
Herb Sales ok yea I do see 3 bolts hidden inside the outer bumper. There’s a bracket holding it in I’m guessing
@@RzVids most of these bolts are attached to that black colored thin metal bracket, almost like its own metal box shell.
