I had a 2004 G35 sedan with a 6 speed manual - the only new car I’ve ever bought! I owned it for 11 years and put 232,000 miles on it with exceedingly minimal issues, just a new set of valve covers that were leaking and routine maintenance. It was still running strong - on the ORIGINAL clutch no less - when I sold it. Fantastic and really fun car!

My kid just bought one of these in amazing condition with 25,000 miles for $9800. It has every option including the factory aero kit and sweet forged wheels.
Nah, their Q lineup is better in every way. These older Infinitis were built to such poor standards that all the Gs and Ms have these cracking dash issues, warped rotors, flimsy automatics, loads of traction control module issues, high nvh levels,... The last gen M/Q70 and the Q50 are the best Infinitis and Nissans for the past 3 decades or so. They dont brittle and brake into pieces at least.
@@vetlungsthey havent lived up to the greatness of g35 and g37. The q50 is more than 10 year old design and q60 is axed and gone. At one point Infiniti was great alternative to BMW, these days its an afterthought

I have the same color G35 coupe. It’s an 05, I’ve had it almost 5 years and never plan to sell it. I’ve swapped it to a manual transmission and black interior, done all suspension, and plenty other things. It’s never let me down and taught me everything I know about cars. Enjoy!
I bought my wife a new 2013 Infiniti EX37 which is the smallest "SUV". The 3.7 is 325hp, 7 speed auto, and rear wheel drive. It hauls butt! She has only put about 56k miles on it so far and it's garaged every night. It looks new underneath and everywhere else. She loves it and says she will never get rid of it. Zero problems with it so far! Oil changes, cabin air filter, intake air filter, tires, two batteries, and rear brake pads are all the maintenance items so far.
The reliability of the EX37 is one reason that I bought a new 2023 Nissan Titan Pro4X last June and sold my 21 yr old F150 and 18 yr old Dodge Magnum RT.
People need to remember that it’s not the car and it’s the drivers of these cars, usually younger people because you can get such a nice car for a low price ( or atleast you used to ) so many magazines and car reviewers out of Japan praised this car when it came out. It beat a E46 M3 on a track… which has 30+ more horsepower. I love these cars so much
One of the nicest sounding cars, stock. The 3.5 VQ always sounded better to my ears than the later 3.7 engine. Back when Nissan used to make good conventional automatic transmissions, instead of CVTs...
They still make them. The 7 speed carried over, and now they have a 9speed Torque Converted trans as well. They are not snappy like ZF but they sure are reliable. I would never buy any CVT, especially not a Nissan one lol.
The g35s had more aggressive factory exhausts. When the g37s came out they were made to be more luxurious so they made the factory exhausts very quiet. But with a quality exhaust the 3.7 sounds better and it’s a better engine all around.
Basically if could have a mint condition Infiniti G35 2003-07 coupe. Dream car, but i am tremendously grateful and blessed for owning my FX35 and will keep it til it dies
This car was ahead of it’s time. My sisters ex had a manual stock one exactly like this he rebuilt from the auction. It made me want an Infiniti even more. Part of the reason why I own a g37 sedan.
Amazing cars to drive. Own a 2009 G37 XS sedan myself with about 170k miles. They're bulletproof as long as fresh fluids are in the engine n transmission. Too bad a lot of them are in the hands of bad owners that dis-tastefully mod and crash them. I feel they could become a future classic when too many of them are taken out.
I love my G35. Bought it a few years ago all beat up. Repainted it and fixed it all up. Such a fun car. Its a bit sad to see what condition most of them are in nowadays. If it were me id try to fill the cracks in that dash and repaint it.
Love my G35. RWD, manual, handles and stops great, has nearly 300hp, reliable, under $20k. I don't think any other car ticks all those boxes. Has been pretty reliable aside from a couple stuck brake calipers, cooling fan and a window motor. Trunk leaks and is starting to rust out. Tried sealing up different spots with RTV but no luck. I'll probably just drill some weep holes and slap on some high solids paint and call it a day.
@@robertm5969 I can see a bunch of C6's running for 25-35k CAD, so I have to imagine that you can find them for under 20 is the US pretty easily. If you want to add for seats into the mix it gets harder. Probably Camaro or Mustang then.
@@AmosDohms I had a NPI Mustang GT before the G35 and really enjoyed it. I tested out an 06 GT before the G35 and the driving experience was lacking. Handling and stopping power just weren't in the same league. Maybe that's changed in the newer models since they did away with live axle rear suspension
I’ve done the spacer and ran without and you gain mid but loose up top. Porting and polish the plenum and lower manifold and you’ll see better gains with no loss. I took mine out and won’t put it back. If you want more torque get a plenum off a vq40de out of a pathfinder and you’ll be happier with the results. I’m rebuilding the same car as a drift car. I laugh when people talk crap bc these are awesome street cars to have fun with. They sound good if you keep a single exit with mufflers. Enough power to have fun but not too much to get in trouble constantly.
When I use to go to Subaru meets there was an old boomer that use to show up with one of these in the same color. He popped the hood and it had a full twin turbo kit 😮. It was a really sick car and use to smoke all of our modded subies once it hooked up.
The G35 was my favorite vehicle! I got one the first year they came out. Red of course! I made 2 mods: One to make the front side marker lights blink with the turn signals. The second to flip the manual shift up and shift down throws the direction god intended. Was a blast to drive! Enjoy!!!
Color kote. Looks stock, doesn’t hide the texture, looks like it came that way. Comes in a bunch of different colors. My 03 G35 has 340k on it. Original engine, cars in good shape. Has a tick but runs strong. Since I’m tired of the tick, I’m swapping a low engine and cd009 manual transmission into it which is very easy on these cars.
For 7 years, I had a 2004 g35 coupe, with no wing, I special ordered it that way. Graphite exterior. Black interior. Great engine and trans. When I sold it in 2011, it was in SHOWROOM condition. Miss that car. Zero problems, zero repairs, kept it 100% stock.
I had a 4-door version of this, great car. I drove the crap out of it for 300K kilometers. Basically, nothing much went wrong with it, ever, but the front lower control arm bushings are a well known issue, and cost a fortune to replace at the dealership at the time. Pressing out the bushings wasn't an option on mine at the time. SO much better!
I've had a 2011 G37 sedan, 2004 G35x sedan and 2004 350z. All extremely reliable and fast. Fun fact the 4 door cars are generally quicker than the coupes because they are lighter weight. Got an FX37 for my mom, basically a lifted G37 wagon....plan on getting an M37 or M56 next. I agree they don't sound great with aftermarket exhausts, best thing to do is open up the intakes, sounds amazing without being obnoxious.
Keep an eye on the front lower control arm bushings and the front compression rod/arm bushing. These tend to fail and can cause clunking and alignment issues. I can tell the front lower shock bushing is collapsing from your vid. I know you like OEM grade, but Nissan doesn’t sell only the bushings. I have a 350Z and went with Whiteline Poly Bushings. No noticeable change in NVH, suspension just feels tighter. Love these pre-2010 Nissans. Great cars, very reliable and affordable when taken care of. Edit: Also, check the differential subframe bushing. The factory bushing is fluid filled and tends to crack and leak. This causes massive slop and movement in the drivetrain. I recommend Whiteline Poly differential bushings. No NVH issues with these.
How crazy is it I bought a 2005 G35x 3 hours ago right when you posted this lol 146k miles nice black interior just a rare on driver seat. $2800 0 warning lights on dash. Sadly automatic but just wanted a commuter so I don’t put all the miles on my Raptor. 4th G I’ve owned counting a 2014 Q50s I had. (I know not a G) lol
The SEM color bond paint actually works pretty well. Getting a match is tricky but I hear some distributors can do a match. I just buy it off the rack. For a dash it will hold up just fine. Clean the part with alcohol or spray away to get the mold release off of it. Hit it with the light scotch brite pad and clean again. Let the part sit in the sun to warm up just a bit then spray light coats. That paint is pretty light on pigment on purpose. Thin light coats and let the vehicle flash off. This preserves any texture. Takes generally three coats but again they are thin. You are gonna think the can did not mix but that’s just how it is. You may need two cans to do a dash cap like that.
I’m on my second G35x. First one was a 04, second one is a 06. My first Infiniti lasted 247k miles. My current 06 has 131k miles. No issues ever just oil changes and common sensors
The vq sounds amazing with a proper exhaust. The problem is that vq owners do shitty muffler deletes. An actual exhaust system brings the best out the engine
A muffler deleted doesn't even sound bad its when they remove the catalytic converters and all the resonators. Basically straight piping it. Ive heard a vq with stock cats and a removed muffler and it didn't sound bad at all not too loud or raspy but I think it was a g37 tho
No they sound terrible in stock compression and natural aspiration Aggressive Cams and some itb's at a minimum to not sound like a high school band of 1
I love my 2007 sedan with the updated engine as well. Bought it 6 years ago for 6k at 110k miles and just hit 160k miles. All I did was battery, tires and AC recharge in addition to the major service at time of purchase. Like yours it’s a shame the paint is aging and interior leather started to rip and dash has crack lines, but drives strong and is so hassle free. I love it as a daily alongside my 2 Ferraris 2 lambos and 3 Porsches!

Oh man, it's awesome! I am a lifetime Infiniti fanboy my first one was a 2008 Infiniti G35 sedan Journey that I traded in 2019 for a 2010 Infiniti G37x sedan and it was a blast to drive, recently I traded that car for a 2016 Infiniti Q70L AWD sedan with a technology package and 20-inch wheel and brakes sport package. Love that car! And, by the way, those cars are 100% built in Japan. I hope that you enjoy yours.
G35 is a 350Z in a tuxedo, both on the FM platform for near perfect balance . First car to seriously compete with the 3 series Bimmer. I wanted want one but lucked into a very low mileage 07' 328i coupe w rare 6spd manual,a must for me, for $7K 4yrs ago. 31mpg on highway. Seems the styling of the G35 is likely what the 300ZX could have evolved to. Still own my 94' 300ZX manual after 20 yrs w99k now on it.
Bmw 335i or bmws in general perform better but from 2008 owning a 335i until today u would pay 20 or 30k in maintenance while in a g35 4000 to 6000 in basic maintenance or less if u do it urself
New bmws r better but if ur 3 years and beyond the warranty u need 15k spare in the bank in case something breaks same with Subaru sti its got a weak oil burning engine u need 15k to swap it eventually because it will go
Bmws vs Nissan or infinite u get more performance from BMW but very few people win the lottery of cheap maintenance on it most people end up paying 3k n 5k often owning a BMW to fix it Nissan way cheaper to fix
@akeprophetmohammedra4337 The 07' 328i na I have may be the most reliable Bim since then. Really like how quiet and silky smooth the N52 I6 is. Yep,it leaks at pan gasket, but not much. I'm lucky and am a very good amateur mechanic. Just crossed 60k and I replaced water pump and earlier did all dampers n front lower control arms. Dealer wanted $1,200 for pump job. If I replaced the the car with newer/similar it would probably be G37. Definitely not a newer Bim.
My FX45 is such a great car. I’m keeping it stock. I’m keeping it the way Infiniti engineers designed it. It’s in great shape, garaged and it drives like a sports car. If you do the maintenance on these older Infiniti’s like the G or FX, they’re solid cars. For it’s 2003 age, I’m planning to fill in some small paint chips, fix a small seat rip, repaint a small scratch on the rear bumper, and possibly restore and blackout the exterior pillars cause they’re oxidized a bit. Everything else is great.
09:30 - You could also consider a hotchkiss front roll bar - comes with bushings and is the best $150 you’ll spend for better steering and turn in feel… I put one on my 370z and have had zero issues in 7 years. Leave the rear stock for compliance on public roads…
You need to be careful modifying the suspension on one end. Take it to a Kmart parking lot and drive at the same speed in a circle. If it makes a larger circle every time around, it's understeering. If it makes a smaller circle, it's oversteering. You can modify the suspension to make the same circle every time which is called neutral steering.
@@williamwhite9767 stiffening the rear sway bar on these cars is a terrible idea. You would be best off removing it entirely. I run mine disconnected most of the time. I have had 3 of these. 2008 G37, 2010 G37x, and a 2013 G37x, I loved them all, the 2008 had a snappy throttle that they fixed by the 2010 and 2013 the throttle and acceleration was smoothed out. Im always looking online for 2013 g37x just because I love them so much. Maintenance is cheap if you do it yourself and the VQ is very durable and powerful plenty of room to boost as many have done. I prefer stock, Also the brake system is really good stock.
G35s are very reliable for their performance. That being said, common issues to look for are: - excessive oil burn. Piston ring wear can cause blow by. Monitor oil level at 1000mi intervals to calculate oil loss and top up as necessary. As long as you keep it topped up the engine is bulletproof. - sticky clutch pedal. Clutch line location can experience excessive heat. Upgrade to DOT4 clutch fluid and replace every 5 years. - misfiring. Coil packs should be replaced at 70k miles, before recommended interval. Do spark plugs while you're in there. - front suspension bushings. Replace with more robust bushings if handling is sloppy, or if you see signs of excessive camber. - axle "clacking" noise. Grease rear axles with molykote grease. To make your life a lot easier, replace the stock undercarriage cover with an aluminum cover with access panel. Then you just need to remove 2 bolts instead of 12+ to change your oil/filter. Also for a "free" performance upgrade, use an Apexi intake air filter. Dyno results have shown they have as good or better gains as Z tubes on stock engines.
I bought a 2006 new and have only put 113K miles on it. Very enjoyable car. It has always been garaged and the paint looks like new. Mechanics always comment on how nice the car is. It isn't worth very much on the used car market now. I think about selling it for something that has newer technology, but it is very hard to find anything as much fun. Love the V6.
Nice job 👍🏽 on the daily pick up. I still have my 2003 fully built VQ35 with the coswroth CF plenum (if you G owners remember) and the Greddy 20G turbo kit. The car Dyno 650+ at 15lbs 93pump and over 850+ on 109 fuel on a mustang Dyno. Sadly the car sat a very long time since I’ve moved on to other Europe platforms and owning multiple cars it’s hard to really justify keeping the G. I really don’t want to sell it with the terrible economy we are currently in and the market and bad rep these days with the younger generation destroying the “Infiniti” name brand.
Nice! The older G35s and G37s may become future classics since 90% of them have been hooned out of existence. Have a '08 G37 completely stock except for IPL wheels. Going strong 15 years later, daily driver. Will keep and maintain forever.
I own a 2007 G35x sedan same color as your coupe with the dual air intakes it's all stock and currently has 201866 miles and still runs awesome no leaks whatsoever I drive it more than my Q70s my camry, and my STi that's how much I love it and it's reliability
I've had 3 Infiniti cars and put a lot of miles on them. The Late 90's through about 2013 Infiniti out out some very underrated cars. G35, M35, G37, M37 and FX37 were pretty fun to drive. Above average reliability as well. (Not Lexus reliability but definitely way better than German luxury. (Here's where the German lovers trash me.)
This car is just a Nissan Z 2+2. I'm not a huge Nissan fan but I can tell the sound of these engines from blocks away. To me this engines exhaust note is almost as distinctive as Audi's 5 cylinder.
We have a 2014 Nissan Maxima with the VQ...and it is totally stock. Dual exhaust tips emit a pleasant burble at idle and under acceleration. Yes, I know it has the CVT but we change the fluid and stay on top of maintenance. I really like it as a highway cruiser and it gets decent mileage on highway trips.
Had an Infiniti with same engine. It was fast for an SUV! I sold it and bought Mrs. Wizard's SL500. Had it do a "Rodeo" today via HP. Mar-Hide, if they're still around, will be a great solution for your dash cover.
Hi Wizard!! Like your video content. I had a 2008 FX35 a few years back. The dash started to blister up & look very ugly. But, to my surprise the Infinity service tech saw the dash & told me Infinity warranties the dash at no cost to me. So of course I went for the replacement dash. Ugly dash was gone for good. Yea!! Just wanted to share this experience with you. Hopefully you’ll be able to get yours replaced too. Keep on doing your Wizard things!
I'm the second owner of my 06 g35 6mt sedan of about 9 years now, I got it from an older woman with 38k miles and it's only up to 136k miles it runs strong I keep up the maintenance religiously, I do drive it kind of hard, it's been a great car never left me stranded and everytime I want to get rid of it I just can't seem to do it...I love it so much I even own a 12 g37 6mt sedan with 68k miles...best car I've owned other than my first car a toyota corolla that I had with 415k miles with 5mt that I sold when I graduated high school.
I’ve had two of these and adore them! 145k miles on my current 04 sedan. The only cars I love more (please don’t kill me!) are my E60 and E90 BMWs with the N.A. N52 motor. I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of these three cars.❤
@@revvolutions Both are excellent. I’ve taken a few VQs to 200k miles and my highest N52 right now sits at 175k. I’ve never been stranded or seen a major failure. Both burn a little bit of oil with age but nothing major. Both tend to have minor cooling system issues and need valve cover gaskets every 60-100k miles. The N52 is noticeably more durable than the M54 I had in an 01 525i, and that engine was itself well-behaved. I actually see more check engine lights with the VQ thanks to its tissue paper sensors (lol). It’s a BMW stereotype but I rarely see that light on my N52s. Performance wise the VQ is the torque monster of the two. Part of this is gearing, but it does also have a larger displacement. Feels more like a V8 around town at low RPMs. The N52 pulls stronger at freeway speeds especially over 80mph. Both sound great but the N52 is smoother and more pleasant at higher revs. Fuel economy is the biggest surprise- I can get maybe 25 mpg highway with the VQ, but will regularly see 30-35 highway in the N52 cars. Smaller displacement, newer design plus and extra gear really pay dividends there.
I commented on one of your past videos about the Expeditions that my father and I own. My father does a lot of driving for work with his 2010 and they also use it for long distance vacations. It's about to hit 375k miles and besides routine maintenance and replacing the timing chain (just as a precaution) about 200k miles ago, it runs and drives like new. It even has the same transmission. He changes the oil and filter every 3k miles religiously. My 2012 only has 47k miles and I'm also maintaining it well. I know you hate these engines, but as long as they're maintained better than what the manual says, they'll last a long time.
Nice, getting this vid got off the press. This model was my dad's dream car back in the mid-2000s when I was in elementary school. These are really cool cars!
Yay! I didn’t know you had one as well! Mines a 6sp, original owner with 173,000mi original clutch! Drinks 1qt oil every 1,000mi but I keep adding it and enjoying it! Had an 08 G35S sedan manual rear wheel drive, diamond graphite, black interior. It was an ABSOLUTE JOY and pleasure to drive. The Q's just got ruined with lack of manual and no real steering (drive by wire jargon). Fantastic. Gotta love rear wheel drive. Now that there’s more air going in after the intake plenum mod, you’ll have to mufflers off to get the exhaust out. Lol
I painted mine satin black on my f250. I just used trim paint. Its holding up very nicely. I think you should just get someone too paint match interior color and spray with trim paint
I relatively recently bought a 2011 G37x sedan, as I wanted something a little sporty but with more room than I had previously. G37 fit that bill, and as it is an Infiniti, and more importantly the sedan and not the coupe, I managed to get one that wasn't beat to hell and back. I really enjoy the car and I'm glad I bought it. Only thing I've had to do so far is replace a cam timing sensor, but it was easy enough to do it myself at home.
I bought a 05 FX35 a couple months ago with 203k miles for $1200 from a family member. Very fun to drive and awesome little family hauler. Amazed at how well it runs and drives for a car with over 200k miles!
How well can they drive? Even when new they had a terrible ride and driving them is not especially engaging. They were noisy, the interior is very low quality, filled with rattles and cracked bits of plastic. Its got 300+ hp so slow it wont be even if it looses half its power. I cant imagine any functional car driving any worse than that car, even if you dump a million miles into it.
I always wanted an FX35 Myself for some reason I just liked the way they looked, I just got a 2004 G35X with 203k miles on it too actually lol Needs some tlc but runs and drives! I’m excited to see where it takes me I love it so far
I had one of those 2006 6MT. I loved that car almost as much as the 21 Miata that I'm driving right now. The 6MT was good because you could plan your shifts for maximum noise. Short shifting into second at low speed made a pretty sweet growl
You're right, most have been Riced/Raced/Wrecked. I'm the original owner of my 05 G35 6 speed Manual transmission.with the Rev Up Motor . I will never sell it and will be passed down to my oldest son..As time goes on, you'll find most of the bushings will have to be replaced. The motor is bulletproof as long as the oil has been changed in a timely manner. This is a very enjoyable car that will not breakdown but instead wear down. The exhaust muffler will eventually start rusting to the point it needs replacing. Tanabe Medallion is what I recommend. Very high quality at an affordable price. I put a dash cover from Cover Craft to cover the cracked dash. Recommend Mevotech Supreme for your ball joints and control arms. White line for your rear differential bushing. This car will give you loads of smiles while driving the miles.😊
I had the G35 sedan and understand the sentiment about not being able to find anything significantly better. I drove each of the newer models (G37, Q50) and they got progressively worse. The handling and performance was just good enough that along with the Porsche like hood fenders, you could pretend you were driving one. Only downside was that the rear seats didn’t fold down so eventually had to replace it with a more practical car.
If you're going to peddle AutoZone parts, reminder to say some of their parts come with a lifetime warranty (need to link the purchase with a phone number for the warranty lookup in a future exchange when the part fails) I had a rear brake caliper failure and it was exchanged with the warranty
Great video, Wizard. With regard to the dash panel, you need to paint it to match the interior. Take the car to a body shop supply store and have them match the interior color with paint chips. They can then mix up the color and put it in a spray can. They have the satin finish paint that will work with plastic. I just did this on one of my cars and the paint was a perfect match. Keep up the great work.

Pre Kohn/Renault.
When Infiniti was Kool ... Nice ride , basically a 350Z but more seats and some luxury ... They were nice .
Q50s and q60s are still cool IMO

I love my Infiniti G37 as my DD. @ 270k still going strong.
Same! On my 2nd G37!
I had a few cars with vq35de my v6 suv at 60k pulls as hard as new not a single horse died great engine
Eww.
There’s a guy in the comments that said the same about his ex35 if you scroll
The reliability of the EX37 is one reason that I bought a new 2023 Nissan Titan Pro4X last June and sold my 21 yr old F150 and 18 yr old Dodge Magnum RT.
@@williamwhite9767 my mom bought a Titan PRO4x in that sand brown color, it’s really really nice
Honestly, one of the best looking cards ever made, and for the money you can’t find a better car. Great purchase wizard!
I love these cars so much
i love my VQ! 04 G35 coupe owner here. 112k miles still runs great
One of the nicest sounding cars, stock.
Always wanted a g35 but found a g37 for a steal 4 years later no problems bunch of car trophy's car friends love my g
Wouldn't a Corvette tick all those same boxes? The G35 is more practical perhaps, but the Corvette is considerably faster and cooler imo.
@@AmosDohms I suppose so-- I thought they were more expensive. Do C6s under 100k miles run less than $20k now? I'll add seats 4 to the list!
I know it's an old comment but if you pull the tail lights it's common for where the metal joins to leak, you can put seam sealer and fix the issue.
Been an owner of a 350z touring since brand new model year 2004. Purchased it January 2004 two days after new years.
My Dad bought one of these brand new back in (I think) 2005. I remember it being a *lot* of fun to drive. Very sporty!
Ur dad is an absolute Chad
I have an 07 sedan and I love it. 125k miles and have only had to replace the AC compressor. Runs great, looks great, lots of nice interior luxuries.
Wow where’d you come across that for only $2800?!
2:53 min - good point Mrs. Wizard!! 🪄
Completely agree. I put a bassani cat back X pipe on and it sounds amazing. Motordyne also makes great exhausts for these, no rasp.
A muffler deleted doesn't even sound bad its when they remove the catalytic converters and all the resonators. Basically straight piping it. Ive heard a vq with stock cats and a removed muffler and it didn't sound bad at all not too loud or raspy but I think it was a g37 tho
No they sound terrible in stock compression and natural aspiration
Aggressive Cams and some itb's at a minimum to not sound like a high school band of 1
I have an agency power exhaust I’m putting on mine
I love my 2007 sedan with the updated engine as well. Bought it 6 years ago for 6k at 110k miles and just hit 160k miles. All I did was battery, tires and AC recharge in addition to the major service at time of purchase. Like yours it’s a shame the paint is aging and interior leather started to rip and dash has crack lines, but drives strong and is so hassle free. I love it as a daily alongside my 2 Ferraris 2 lambos and 3 Porsches!

Obviously people aren't driving track speeds on the road (hopefully), but at higher speeds the rear of the car is simply along for the ride. No grip. He has the right idea.

I loved my 2013 M56XS. It was such a sleeper. It would cruise at 130mph no problem.
That being said, common issues to look for are:
- excessive oil burn.
Thanks
My dad got a G37 from a school teacher and it's got the hard top and the red leather interior. The quality really is so solid on these Infiniti's!
I bought a 2006 new and have only put 113K miles on it. Very enjoyable car. It has always been garaged and the paint looks like new. Mechanics always comment on how nice the car is.

I had a G37 convertible for a few years. I regret letting it go. I loved that car.
Hi Wizard!! Like your video content. I had a 2008 FX35 a few years back. The dash started to blister up & look very ugly. I’ve had two of these and adore them! 145k miles on my current 04 sedan. The only cars I love more (please don’t kill me!) are my E60 and E90 BMWs with the N.A. N52 motor. I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of these three cars.❤
How's the reliability compare, n52 vs vq?
I love my G35 coupe , underrated car , way too much hate
The sedan is aging better as time goes on... hard to find a stock coupe well maintained.

I agree. Get that piece paint matched to the interior and you should be good. Just double check for tight fit.
2014 Q60 with 6 speed manual 40k miles. Was totaled at 500 miles. Bought it at 5k miles. Love it EXCEPT in rain and snow.
I own its counterpart, an 06 is350, but I can’t deny this style is timeless, love that rear end
Your channel demonstrates how 'high mileage' used cars can be selected and maintained to stay on the road.
I have a 2004 g35x with 117,000 miles. I love the sound of the stock exhaust, and the engine pulls very nicely.
If you're going to peddle AutoZone parts, reminder to say some of their parts come with a lifetime warranty
(need to link the purchase with a phone number for the warranty lookup in a future exchange when the part fails)
I had a rear brake caliper failure and it was exchanged with the warranty
Great video, Wizard. With regard to the dash panel, you need to paint it to match the interior. Take the car to a body shop supply store and have them match the interior color with paint chips. They can then mix up the color and put it in a spray can. They have the satin finish paint that will work with plastic. I just did this on one of my cars and the paint was a perfect match. Keep up the great work.
