Whew! That was a journey! But so well worth the wait. I think my favourite place would be to sit in those chairs, right inside the water. The view from those chairs would be amazing as I believe you can see pretty much everything from there, except maybe the sunken living space. For sure, pondemonium will be a different experience for the contractors from now on. I'm sure, all the past contractors will want to come back just to see this finished feature. Well done all who were involved!
Yeah that's the nicest backyard I've ever seen. Cedar caps on block walls is something I've never seen before and it looks so good! I own a small Landscape construction company and strive to be able to do jobs like this where every aspect of Landscaping is incorporated. This content is incredibly inspiring !

I need a mini version of this in my backyard, koi window and all. I love the formal look with the huge boulders. Hopefully you can explain how the sunken patio will drain water from rain or melted snow in the walkthrough or at some point in time.. it was a big question for me when thee artist of the years were doing the sand studio builds over the winter.. like sweet concept but how will it stay dry after a good rain like for us in Florida? Love the builds and the content and the explaining of a lot it but so many questions i have. Thank you again to you and your team.

It’s really gorgeous! The only thing I would change is removing that huge boulder from the swim area, I’d hate to have to dodge that while trying to swim, and I’d worry about someone jumping into it and getting injured. Other than that, perfect!
This is fantastic!!! Sooooo Zen, it is modern and so in with what many want today! Also could easily go Asian also, which I love! Do love the natural streams that feel like you came across them in the woods! The observation window is wonderful, it would be a great spot to curl up and take a nap, seeing the fish (momentarily) and hearing the water! Off to la, la land!!! We chose a charcoal colorway granite with leather finish on my husband's new bathroom countertop, also. We love it, because it's beautiful, a little different, and best of all it doesn't show imperfections at ALL!
I can't say enough good things about this build. I don't think there is a bad view. I know if this was in my backyard there would be a 45lb rack weight living in the bottom with a time clock on the window for toning my lung capacity, I'd be in it everyday. It is such a calm and peaceful place it would make the whole experience that much better.

Your groundwater mitigation is honestly what impressed me most… plus if I’m not wrong it reduces the risk of major demo from a small liner puncture
