This changed my perspective I was struggling getting my business going not getting clients. I kept thinking I would get clients realy quick but that analogy is spot on
@@SergioPerez-xd2fs it's an important thing to remember, you can't rush your development as an owner. Just make sure that you are going at your pace, develop your business systems, learn your core business skills like marketing and customer service and identify/establish your culture as a business and you'll reap the rewards in due time. Also make sure to humble yourself, most people can tell you in an instant what they're good at but struggle to identify their weaknesses. Knowing what your weaknesses as a business owner are and how to either improve on them or outsource help for it is critical.

As for advice on marketing, it sounds like you have your digital side down pack. Just work towards your uniforms and maybe a personal thank you gift such leaving a "care package" with the completed cars consisting of a wonder wafer or two, a cheap microfiber towel, a few mints, and a few business cards. You can wrap it like those hotel towels you that you see😂

With a crew of employees marketing really really works but if it's only one man show one car a day you do too much marketing it's a wrap you'll be canceling left and right. I love what you do

How in the world do you foam the whole vehicle and have time to wash everything before the foam starts drying? In the summer I have to do panel by panel or side by side or else the foam starts drying

Any Advice for an up an coming detailer such as myself ? I get a lot of clients but they are mostly cheap :( wanting to pay $40 for a full detail . How do I reach higher paying customers ?!? Please any advice can take me a long way
If your work is worth more then that, then you need to advertise what you are worth 100%. By website builders there are a bunch that are free and doing a google business page. Work on reviews the more positive ones you get the better, you will draw in the clients you’d like if you promote yourself properly. But you have to make sure you are meeting the expectations of the price you are charging. As a detailer they are paying you for your knowledge and expertise, not for your time. If you go from $100 to $250 you are going to have higher expectations on your work. 👍
Stop saying yes to a $40 full detail..once you agree to that when you raise prices they will be mad & go to other detailers..put your price where you think is worth,all that hard work is expensive especially if you gave a great quality service.dont undermine yourself just because you want customer,go to other area somewhat richer area even though its a bit far from your place.
