- Hello everyone and welcome back to the second episode of DJ Tech Thursday. Today I will be looking at my brand new podium which I have been rocking at my proms for about a month now and absolutely love! I ended up choosing the Odyssey DJ Studio Podium due to its affordable price and compact design!

Nice video. I didn't know Odyssey made a podium booth. I built my own using the Odyssey fold out DJ stand and I built the table top to make it an actual podium. I think a podium or some type of DJ furniture will be the standard for wedding DJs.

Definitely appreciate the review! I didn't know Odyssey made a podium case. I know about Pro X and Bunn command centers, I went with the Danny Max booth! Wish I saw this before I committed to a single brand!
I will say there's alot to love about Danny Max's booth if you can handle the cost. It is significantly lighter and the cases are made to transport with the controller in it

Nice vid! Thanks for the tip I’m goin to invest on soft cases too….
If they make one for a full setup it would be viable, for example 4 cDjs/xdjs and a 4channel mixer. Most of what I see is for smaller setups like all in ones and controllers or 2decks and 2 channel with a laptop stand.

@@djnvision so what are the exact measurements when you are measuring from the floor to the very top of the unit Where the controller goes. I’m trying to see if I need a 37 or 40 inch…
Not sure if odyssey is including the plate at the bottom when measuring..

Anyone using this booth do yourself a favor and use a hand truck. Those wheels suck and it's heavier to transport. A hand Truck makes it soooo much easier....I also bring a 6' foldable ramp just in case.

Are we really standing out when every dj is moving to dj furniture?
Honestly that's a totally fair point however in my market only a few of us have them so it is an easy way to stand out for me personally.
I think we’re a long way from ‘every dj’ going with the furniture, but it is a trend. A good one in my opinion. I love my podium booth, and I get tons of complements from couples, guests, and other vendors. It creates a clean, elegant look. It conveys a level of professionalism that you can’t get from a facade.
@@stanadams5464 I go back and forth with it. I've gotten compliments and comments that it looks like I'm piloting the uss Enterprise. I prefer the look of the humpter booth.
