You should do a simulation where the registration rules in every league only lets clubs register players from the league’s country. I think it would be really interesting to see where players end up but have no idea how to do it haha
So England players can only be registered in English leagues, Spanish only in Spainish, South African players only in South African leagues, etc.? But what about duel nationality players? And that would probably take a good amount of loaded leagues to ensure that the transfers work as intended, or else you might end up with a, say, Alex Iwobi having a 5 year contract but unable to move or be registered in the league, with Nigerian clubs unable to afford his wages or the transfer fee, and then after the 5 years, he just doesn't move anywhere and retires, it would be interesting to see but he could run into some technicalities
About the balanced personality: I'm pretty sure balanced is the default personality, if a player has a balanced personality that means his hidden attributes don't align with any other personality in the game. Also, in real players balanced is used as a replacement for bad personality types. Also, the scout comment about a player being afraid of big matches is not about the "pressure" hidden stat, is about having a low "important matches" hidden stat.
That makes me realize that scouts never tell you if a player can cope with pressure. Out of the hidden attributes that are never revealed, it's perhaps the one that should be more noticeable. And yet...
this is almost correct. only re/newgen players can have bad personalities. Real players will have their worst personality being balanced so SI dont get sued etc.
The difference between the two is actually shocking, but it also goes to show that the AI is incapable of improving a player's personality quite like a human manager can, which is a shame.
@@sinful9347 if i understand it correctly only players that get a regen face show negative personalities. If it’s a player id in the original database (even if edited) it will show as balanced. Unsure for players created in the pregame editor, but i think it might be hidden for them too
All non-regen players with bad personalities are balanced. Your players don't have a regen face, so they won't show if it's a bad personality. I think it's cuz they don't wanna get sued over marking a real player as being a bad person.
@@murilomuniz9962 He's making stuff up. Balotelli doesn't and never has had a personality labelled 'intense', I don't think there even is an intense personality. It's always been Balanced. You can check it for yourself if you don't believe me.
I have noticed in my own experiments that loyalty and temperament being low can actually help a player develop. This don't to do with training, but when they are not first team they kick up a fuss and force a move. This is especially true if highly ambitious. Highly loyal players will often be happy to wait as a squad player and miss out on valuable player time. The non loyal players will also push for better clubs so more likely to play at a higher level.
If Worst Personality was a regen then he would have a Temperamental personality, Raising his temperament to 5+ would make him Slack or the professionalism to 5+ would be easily discouraged.

Love it! Expected some Ballon d'Ors for the perfect player tbh It's great seeing personality make a massive impact, shame the editor doesn't allow for hidden attributes to be locked though
So now I have an alternative proposal for this experiment. Put the two players in the first team, lock them up in the starting eleven and holiday from then on, to see how having equal playtime affects their performances.
If you load up the game, all personalities for existing players with bad personalities are set to "balanced", I believe this is so that players or teams don't sue FM :) Also: that is why you don't buy non-regens with a balanced personality, they are usually a liability
I played with in-game editor a bit and "Balanced" is basically a personality that game gives to a player who doesn't fit any other one, like Jovial, Loyal, Driven etc.
Looking at you at the end of this video, I was just thinking to myself "this was recorded in the heat wave last year". Check the date. Yep, July 2022. That was an ordeal for us brits.
We don't need a good personality for them to reach their potential, it just increases the odds. I mean.... Zlatan.... runs on 3 things: 1. Ambition 2. Determination 3. out of spite not what I call a modelcitizen :D
It would be a good experiment to create like 9 players with 200 potential but they all have 1 in everything except each one is maximum in just 1 personality trait and see how that effects them . Like if you have a player that is 1 in all mental stats except professionalism would that be better than a guy with all 1s except extreme ambition !
If possible, it would probably be good for the players to stay with the same team for their careers to minimize differences in coaching ability. Playing time also makes a difference to development, but that is likely harder to control. I guess you can tell your assistant to always play these guys if they are able to play when you simulate
You should continue this, give Real Madrid players with only the worst personality and make all Barca players have the best personality and simulate ten years. Or really any two team on par with each other
I think FM could benefit from some kind of interaction system to lead players with "worse personalities" to better development/playing, maybe with certain styles of management--every sport has the story of an egotistical star who could only work well with one coach. It'd also be interesting if those kinds of players, especially volatile ones or ones with low temperament/high controversy, could actually get more famous based on media presence and be a draw for your team. I just think personality in sports management sims is really interesting and get slightly bored with every FM streamer running a team where every player must be a Model Professional. I remember sports for the outlandish characters just as much as the beautiful highlights.
The reason why the worst personality player is balanced is because if fm say that a real player have a negative personality, they can get sued. You used real players so that’s why
I believe Balanced potentially is the worst of all personalities, but it's not guaranteed to be bad. Found a description saying that Balanced have "*No better than* good Ambition/Determination/Loyalty/Professionalism/Sportsmanship". So the worst possible personality checks all of those boxes. You can be sure it's not good, but can't know how bad it really is. Other bad personalities at least have some kind of floor to how bad one of the attributes can be. E.g. "easily discouraged" have "no worse than very poor Professionalism", so a 1 Professionalism would rule that one out.
Maybe the personality might be due to all the different things you have put at low value, so it doesn’t know which one to choose as he actually has all the bad options so it says balanced as the attributes are all of equalish value
It's a legal matter that makes all bad personalities show up as "Balanced" in the game, for real players... I guess it's the same thing for created players, then.
He's balanced because you create him in the editor and he's not generated by the game, right? All the existing players are balanced if they have trash personalities by attributes.
I guess Worst Personally really upset Ajax's management. They locked him up in the reserve team until he was 24.
I guess no one wanted to buy him, and for a reason
