You’re videos are so helpful I love how honest and to the point you are. I’ve always struggled with minor hoarding and not very good organizing skills. I can organize and clean anyone else’s home but my own. I’ve been watching your videos for a few months now and was determined to bring your advice into our new apartment back in October. And I’ll tell you It was so elevating all the purging we did! I am not fully happy with what has been organized so I am working on that but we have tons of space now and there is no clutter anywhere. The only clutter we have are the 4 boxes that are full of documents that need to be shredded! I keep putting that off. I do deep cleans Monday and Friday and a light deep clean on Wednesday’s and no cleaning on the weekend! That is absolutely shocking to me bc I used to “clean” every single day!! You have helped me sooooo much and we never even met! I battle depression and anxiety and chronic pain/migraines! Your videos that end in “if no one has told you today “ really make me feel better and help so much!!!!!! Xoxo
I have a tip for the sock mess. In our home, each person has a lingerie bag that zips clipped on a small hanger or clipped to the laundry basket. We put our socks in the bag then wash and dry it in the bag. When it's time to put it away unzip the bag and put the socks together. No socks are lost and their matches are easily found in the bag.
Love your honesty about pretending the house is always spot clean. My craft room is a never-ending mess. No matter how I try to organize it. If it's craft time. It all blows up.
@@mrn916 My mom taught me to always check the edges drum of the laundry machine, all the way around, when you take out the load, and the centrifuge will OFTEN have stuck a sock or two there. I do that, and at least I feel like I lose socks LESS than most people. 😂
I put all the unmatched socks in a delicates bag that hangs on the laundry room doorknob. Then every once in a while I sort them and match a few up. Great tip about keeping a cleaning caddy with everything you need in the bathroom.

If you see something that needs to be done and you can do it in two minutes or less, do it right away. You’ll be amazed at how much you get done because you’ll knock out a bunch of little projects as they occur to you, and you won’t get overwhelmed.

I like the way you organized your drawers and cabinets for easy access to hot drinks and cookies, etc... I really like the way you use scarves to decorate. You are so resourceful! Laundry can get crazy at my house too. If I can't find a match to a sock right away, it goes in a( socks box) To sort thru later. That was nice of your husband to do the laundry for you. I have five sons and the best time saving tip I've ever gotten for socks is to throw them all in one bin or drawer. I was already buying them each different styles and brands so i knew who to call to pick up their socks. Now they can easily pick their own out of the bin! So awesome. No need to worry about missing mates. They'll show up eventually.

The best tip I ever read in my life today was that in a study of people who had really clean households, one woman said that if you can complete a task in less than two minutes, do it right away. That’s life changing because there are so many little things that seem daunting until you realize they take two minutes or less out of your day, and before you know it you’ve done so much more than if you had gotten overwhelmed and put everything off.

Yes we do have a sock pile like that! There’s 6 soon to be 7 of us, and I actually boycotted matching socks, it was taking so long! So all the socks go in one basket and they go find socks for themselves! Last night my hubby was awesome and sorted the whole basket for me, such a help! Love your videos! 💗💗💗

I clean my kitchen and bathrooms every day, so my home is always ready for not only company, but for us everyday. When we moved into our brand new home I got rid of all of our socks and bought everyone new ones...I still have a sock basket : - O AND we each do our own laundry. How does this still happen ? When you walk into our home, you walk into our great room, (dining room, kitchen living room) so it always has to be clean and tidy. Yay Charlie!

When I'm crafting or scrapbooking, it often looks like a bomb went off. I like the idea of the bins! My bed has drawers underneath so I do store a lot of items in there. And yes, Oprah rocks! :)

I love having a dedicated crafting room!! We made a big table for us to wrap presents/craft on out of a hollowcore door (stained and varnished), added molding and dropped it over two cube shelves. Best thing we ever made...hands down. Got the stuff to make those beautiful snowflake table buffets/risers yesterday!! I am SOOOOO excited to make them!! I am making 8!!
