It's been a tough journey for you. . I have had a similar journey. February 2020 was when it all happened for me. . Good luck to you in the future.

I was treated in 2015; doing well. It's helpful to discuss. Be well. You really explained the process so expertly. I'm sorry you had to go through that during the loss of your dad. God bless you and family. Oh, and don't worry; you look great

Thank you for posting this video. My son sees an ocular oncologist in a few days for his first evaluation and treatment scheduling. They explained the process, but your story made it so much more human and hopeful.

I watched this whole video hoping to find out what type(location) is her nevus ....she never mentioned it. I did go to her blog and after reading a bit she did say that it is a choroidal melanoma. This is important as depending on the location treatment and outcome differ. Ocular melanoma encompasses several different diagnosis depending on the location. Her suggestion to have a dilated eye exam is very important.

Thank you for sharing your story. I was diagnosed Oct.13th, 2020 and went through the same as you. I did get my biopsy and I am CL 2 unfortunately. Your story was uplifting. My lesions was 2.3 X 6.5 base. They got it small as well and I pray it doesn't go anywhere! There is a drug that my oncologist said may help with the spread called Sunitinib. Not sure if I will try it. I had the plaque removed Nov. 9th and I sill have double vision after 6 weeks. I know I need to be patient. Is your vision still distorted? Did you have retinal detachment? Is the double vision gone now? I am having my days, because it's so doom & gloom on the internet, so thank you for your video!! I am so glad that you are doing better and you will be celebrating a 2nd year here soon. Thank you!
