@mump71 well just a heads up ! They have started closing off most of the point due to birds we found this out the hard way last year when we took our boat and docked at the end of the point and they told us we couldn’t be on the sand. It starts in March and doesn’t end until September 1st we were disappointed so if you’re planning a trip to Ocracoke you might want to definitely research the deal with the birds on the pointe ! They have posted a lot of areas to not be able to drive to or even go out on to fish so far . Wish someone told us before we took our boat 7.5 hours from home FYI . But it still one of the prettiest places I’ve been too 🙏🏼 in NC
