The free roaming laws are much freer than you explained here. As long as you stay a minimum of 150 metres away from people's homes, you can go virtually anywhere you want.
Yeah, but no. If the terrain has been man-made (like a large garden, field, pasture or park) then it is private and you can be chased away. But the owner of a forest can not chase you away for simply camping in their forrest. Also you can stay for 2 days without asking.
@@espenklingsheim978 Of course. But do you know the rules for roads though? If somebody owns a road which goes far into a forest, I'd think they'd have to share it with other people.
Amici Nybråten you have the right to roam, not the right to drive. Either if it is a farm far up a road, an industrial area or a cabin in the woods. Private roads are private and can be locked of. In some cases there are "the right to a road" when a road must go through anoter property to connect to the public road. But that is realestate/property law, not hikers and bikerd law.

So, three months ago I started to learn norwegian (because pandemic ban me to visit my lovely Norway, so I try to bring a piece of lovely Norway to my home by that way) and it's so beautiful language, but the speaking is very deficult for slavic people. Yes
Yeay, and to say er where neutral is kinda wrong. We shot down Blucher for Gods sake

@@oddisboddis7689 You can be neutral and still sink a heavy cruiser from the War Navy of an attacking country.
@@tommymack3210 i also live where the germans landed first. When Blücher got blown up, the germans retited out of Oslo fjord and got to shore in Son( the place i live), the commendered all cars and truck so they could get to Oslo.
Another funfact about my hometime. When Oslo was called Christiania, Son was a important loadingplace for iceblocks for the Dutch ships, so important that they called Oslofjorden, Soen Waters (Dutch name for Son at the time) or Son waters.

The free roaming laws are much freer than you explained here. As long as you stay a minimum of 150 metres away from people's homes, you can go virtually anywhere you want.
That's the correction I wanted to make also, so I second that.
@@theamici Privet roads are just that, privet and will many times be blocked of to public use
